  • How can I make a numerical value for a taskbar icon in C#?

    I'm trying to find a way to display the current processor time of an application to the user via the taskbar when my application is minimized. For reference, I want something like what is implemented in Coretemp, where if you minimize the application, you can still see the temperature of the computer processor cores in the taskbar. Does anyone know of how this is done in C#?

  • Is this the correct way to build a Perl hash that utilizes arrays?

    This is the first time I have manipulated hashes and arrays in this way -- and it is working. Basically, for every key there are multiple values that I want to record and then print out in the form "key -- value -- value -- val..." My code is as follows. I am surprised that it works, so concerned that it works "by mistake".     I have a numpy array with positive and negative values in. a = array([1,1,-1,-2,-3,4,5]) I want to create another array which contains a value at each index where a sign change occurs (For example, if the current element is positive and the previous element is negative and vice versa). For the array above, I would expect to get the following result array([0,0,1,0,0,1,0]) Alternatively, a list of the positions in the array where the sign changes occur or list of booleans instead of 0's and 1's is fine.

    I'm trying to select the order total sum ($) and invoice count over a 5 day period in a single query. I can't seem to get this to happen though. The current query I have is here... SELECT COUNT(id) as invoice_count, SUM(orderTotal) as orders_sum, UNIX_TIMESTAMP(created) as created FROM ids_invoice WHERE DATE_ADD(created, INTERVAL +1 DAY) AND userId = '.$userId.$whereSql I'm not entirely sure DATE_ADD is the right function I'm looking for I'm fairly new to mysql date functions so perhaps I just missed the function I needed when going through mysql docs.

The current statement inserts into a table from a select statement built using a string. The datetime value is stored in a parameter and the parameter is used in the select.   • jQuery: Scroll down page a set increment (in pixels) on click?

    I'm trying to make a page scroll down 150px from the current position when an element is clicked. So lets say you're roughly halfway scrolled down a page. You click this link, and it will slide you down an additional 150 pixels. Is this possible with jQuery? I've been looking at scrollTop and the scrollTo plugin, but I can't seem to connect the dots.

    This has to be pretty simple, but I'd like to parse the current URL and execute conditional code depending on whether the user is on the /sitemap/ directory. So for example, if the site is example.com, and if the request is example.com/sitemap/. Then I want to execute conditional code in that case. I'm using wordpress so I'm not sure if there is a built-in function that gets this... A pure PHP solution is fine.

    Hello all, Is there an equivalent of MySQLs on update field for SQL server? With both DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP clauses, the column has the current timestamp for its default value, and is automatically updated. What I am looking for is to have a date/time field and every time I update a record it updates the field with the date/time it was updated automatically?     I'm trying to build a pager where it's just Next / Previous buttons that call a jquery function that post a JSON request. Inside the function, the current page "index" is retrieved from a hidden field and passed to the controller. Inside the controller, I reset the index if I'm on the last page of data. How would I pass the new index value back to the view? Or is there a better way to do what i'm trying to do? Thanks
