    I am working on Silverlight 3.0 and currently using code-behind in my Views. I would like to implement the MV(VM) pattern into my project as the project is growing. I have seen some WPF projects where the code-behind has NO CODE except for the InitializeComponent method, which I believe is the right way to go and just looks clean. Is this possible in Silverlight 3.0, that is, no code-behind? Can anyone point me to some good Silverlight (3.0) MV(VM) tutorials / articles?

For me it looks like I can use it for logging like an interceptor, but I don't know how. Could someone of you explain this type of Binding and how I can use it?   • AngularJS - Processing $http response in service

    I recently posted a detailed description of the issue I am facing here at SO. As I couldn't send an actual $http request, I used timeout to simulate asynchronous behavior. Data binding from my model to view is working correct, with the help of @Gloppy Now, when I use $http instead of $timeout (tested locally), I could see the asynchronous request was successful and data is filled with json response in my service.   • Unable to execute functions on elements loaded with AJAX (jQuery)

    i am using .prepend() to load data after i POST a form with .ajax(). once the new elements are added, my functions won't work on them. if i link the js file directly in the prepended data, the functions work, but when i POST, i starts multiplying the events. i have a feeling it has something to do with binding, but i am not able to figure out exactly how to handle it. any ideas? thanks!

    I've recently set up a fedora 17 server for our network, and I've been having trouble getting the NIS service to work on startup. By the looks of these logs the ypbind service is starting up at 12:57:12 but the network interface isn't coming up till 12:57:15. My guess is that this is causing ypbind to time out when trying to connect. As a knock-on effect the NIS failure is causing problems with NFS which is no longer able to map UIDs properly. This problem doesn't seem to be fixed by actually starting ypbind etc. so I've had to set all my NFS shares to noauto. I have tried manually adding NETWORKDELAY and NETWORKWAIT in /etc/sysconfig/network and also running systemctl enable NetworkManager-wait-online.service as I've seen suggested in some places, but neither of these have had any effect. It is relatively easy to fix manually by restarting ypbind & mounting NFS shares after the network has started up, but it's less than ideal to have to do this every time the server has been rebooted. Does anyone know of an easy (and preferably hack-free) way of delaying the ypbind startup till after the network interface is fully ready?
