    Hello, id like to support Ubuntu One, and enhance my project at http://biochar.me The website uses Joomla.org 1 of the most widely used CMS on the net and version 1.6 got released a few weeks ago. Now my question: Are there plans to deliver a component, to enhance the user experience for example with sharing files? http://joomlapolis.com releases their CB - Community Builder component for joomla on the 14th and for example a CB Plugin for Ubuntu One integration would be a great addition. Looking forward to your feedback.

    I want to use Google Analytics on a website that uses both HTTP and HTTPS that works as explained below: Secure pages accessed through https://mydomain.com/secure/* are always on HTTPS. Any access to these pages through HTTP will be redirected to HTTPS. Any other pages will be accessible through both HTTP and HTTPS I have a Google Analytics profile with URL using HTTPS. Will I cover all traffic? Do I need to create another profile using HTTP and how should I apply the other profile?

  • Hosting media on separate server than web server

    Basically I have a website hosted by a web hosting company which I have limited access to (ftp upload etc). I have a home server which I use to record and store audio files. Is there an elegant way or best practice to host a page on the webserver which links to the audio files? I'm considering hosting a page on the home server and redirecting to that from the web server, or setting up something like rsync to push the audio files to the web server - I'm just not certain which solution would be best.

    I have a dynamic IP, which doesn't work for Google Analytics IP filtering. I read this post How to excludes my visits from Google Analytics? but don't see any code for setting the variable mentioned there. Has anyone been able to block their website visits from Google Analytics using a cookie? EDIT: This seems to work https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Although I don't think it was designed as I'm using it.

    I am trying to have a website that vertically scrolls about 5 paragraphs of text with a matching audio file that reads along with it. It doesn't need to be synchronized word for word such as highlighting each spoken word but an accurate start and stop time.     I am a Windows user trying to move over to Ubuntu without much success. I have installed the 11.10 version as dual boot by using Wubi tool on the Ubuntu website and can only use the operating system for about 5 minutes before it overheats and shuts off the machine. I have done my searches and seen many posts about overheating but cannot see one that I am able to apply to my particular case. Can anyone give me a steer on this please?
