  • Program that can count the most frequently used keys pressed on keyboard?

    Any recommendations on a program that I can manually start/stop to run in the background that will measure (count) how many times a key is pressed on the keyboard? As a software developer, I'd like to know which keys are used the most when I develop from project to project and/or from language to language. I'd like to be able to manually start and stop the program. This is for a Windows PC (xp, vista, 7)

    I'm using NetBeans 6.8 on Windows 7. Upgrade from WinXP and NetBEans 6.7. Now my existing java web app project is no longer able to import/find the packages I've developed. And yet the project still compiles and runs OK. I've tried changing the Java Platform/JDK from 1.6.0_10 back to JDK 1.5.0_22 but I still receive errors package does not exist. All other libraries and packages are able to import OK ...

    I see the option in Visio 2003 to only trust macros stored in trusted locations, but I can't find any way to set up what these trusted locations are. My problem is I have a template file that's not signed in the VBA project but the VBA project is locked (so I can't just sign it myself). So, there are only two ways I can stop the warning: lower my security settings so anything with macros will run (not a good idea) Tell Visio that the template is in a trusted location (if this is even possible)

    Hello, I work on a very large project (10000+ versions) and sometimes it happened that I need to know who of the other users deleted some line in a file. Is there a way to do that that? I can do svn blame with revision number to check if a line exists in that revision, then see in which revision the line is gone and see who commited that revision, but that procedure is lame with that large project. Is there a smarter way to do that?

I started to work on the project for the first time in almost two years and I've noticed, despite using the same font, size and settings the text I create is anti-aliased. I'm using MS Paint 6.0. EDIT: I changed my NVidia Driver Settings to this, but it's not working Update: I managed to fix this by turning of cleartype, however webpages now look worse.

    Hi, I'm using NetBeans in a project, making use of remote sync to save both locally and to a FTP server. This feature works in other projects, but this time is failing when trying to save the file to the remote server. The IDE log tells me that had occurred a unknown error, as well as this : Upload failed: org.netbeans.modules.php.project.connections.TransferInfo [transfered: [], failed: {index.php=Cannot upload file index.php (unknown reason).}, partially failed: {}, ignored: {}, runtime: 61136 ms] Cannot logout from server The version of the IDE is 6.8.     I am detailing the tasks that I have to do for a certain project (am the sole developer), so I do not have the luxury of MS Project etc., and it has to be in MS Excel. What I would like to do is the following - Create Tasks, Sub Tasks in a way that the SubTasks are hidden beneath the tasks with a "+" sign for the Tasks, which when expanded, shows the SubTasks. When i tried to pull from the repository, it gave me an error Your configuration specifies to merge with the ref 'master' from the remote but no such ref was detected.     I have installed and configured in private server a local git repository using Gitorious. The problem I am facing is that when I set up a new Gitorious project and limit read access permissions to specific users, the repositories inside the project are not visible any more. However, since it was a git submodule it never checked out "master" and instead just checked out the head and placed all the files in the folder in "no branch". Now that I've made some changes by accident to these files I just realized that I was working in a "no branch", submodule of my project. How do I get those files into a branch (like master) so I can rescue them?

If I try to create a new project I can see Silverlight project templates but only seem to be able to target Silverlight 3. Is Silverlight 4 not part of vs2010 pro by default? I also noticed the msbuild targets is missing ie the v4.0 folder doesn't exist at the following folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\MSBuild\Microsoft\Silverlight\ Any help/thoughts would be much appreciated.   • TFS Changeset history using QueryHistory after branch rename

    I'm using the VersionControlServer.QueryHistory method to retrieve a list of files that have changed during a timespan that ranges from 5/1/2009 to 10/1/2009. My results unexpectedly only included items that had changed after 9/1/2009. I then realized that the path that I was using, $/Project/Reports/Main, didn't exist until 9/1/2009. Before 9/1/2009, there had been another node named $/Project/Main/Reports, which was renamed to $/Project/Reports/Main. When I query from Source Control Explorer I can see the entire history (5/1/2009 - 10/1/2009) that I expect to see. However, I can't get the same results via the API. I've tried to specify the branch that no longer exists because it was renamed, but not surprisingly I get zero results. Any ideas?

  • Flex builder3 is not generating html wrapper when targeting flex 4 sdk

    In Flex builder 3 when I create a new flex application targeting the flex 4 sdk, it wont generate a html wrapper file. I have hunted around the web for answers, but no success. I have made sure the box is checked in the project properties to generate html wrapper. The only workaround is to target an older version of the sdk (i.e. 3.2), which will cause the wrapper to be generated. Then I can revert the project to sdk 4. This then means I can never do a clean of my project because this will result in the wrapper being deleted. Has anyone else come across this? Is this just a bug with Flexbuilder3?
