    Due to my neat coding style, my pages take up like 30% more space on both my server and the output HTML. Is there any free extension for Dreamweaver to automatically optimize my pages when uploading them? I mean not only HTML, but also PHP, CSS and JS... Actually, removing unnecessary tabs, spaces and new lines will just do the trick. After removing the unnecessary spaces, tabs and new lines from my PHP code, the page loaded three times faster so this is important...

    Problem Trying to setup CI Joe (https://github.com/defunkt/cijoe) and I get the following error: /usr/bin/env: ruby1.8: No such file or directory What I'm doing CI Joe is run as www-data, and the command I'm running is RAILS_ENV=test bundle exec rake -s test When I log in as www-data (sudo su www-data) and execute the same command it works. So I'm trying to figure out what may be wrong.   • Why doesn't apache restart after configuring SSL?

    I've installed apache2 and then configured it to work with SSL following this and this tutorials, the problem becomes when I try to restart the service, I get the following error: (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443 no listening sockets available, shutting down Unable to open logs the output of netstat -anp | grep 443 just display firefox listening and anything else, how could I solve this and get the service running??

    I have the SSH connection working. I have it successfully modeling the device (Ubuntu Server, in this case). What I can't get to work is the SNMP portion. It sounds like I have to custom add the snmpwalk command when doing monitoring over SSH - in other words, have Zenoss connect via SSH, and then run an arbitrary command agains the client (in this case, an snmpwalk), and then parse the results.   • Run a local script on a remote server using ssh with out having to worry about quotes

    So I have been running local scripts fine on a remote server: ssh user@server '`cat local-script.sh`' However, today I have a script that has both single and double quotes in it. Which causes the script to fail because the output of cat local-script.sh is wrapped in quotes. With out modifying the script itself, is there a better way to handle this? I thought this may work: ssh user@server $(<local-script.sh) But is does not seem to do anything...

  • using tcpdump to display XML API requests without headers or ack packets

    I need assistance, I am trying to use tcpdump in order to capture API requests and responses between two servers, so far I have the following command: tcpdump -iany -tpnAXs0 host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and port 6666 My problem is, that the output is still hard to read, because it sends the Headers, and the ack packets. I would like to remove those and only see the XML bodies. I tried to use grep -v, but apparently this is all one request, so it filters the entire thing... Thanks!

  • Why is nslookup reporting two IP addresses?

    I made a DNS change a few hours ago and I just ran the following command with the following output: nslookup mydomain.com ns1.mynameserver.com Server: ns1.mynameserver.com Address: 111.111.111.111 Name: mydomain.com Addresses: 222.222.222.222 333.333.333.333 222.222.222.222 is old IP. 333.333.333.333 is the new IP address. Why are they both showing up? Since I'm querying the authoritative DNS server directly, shouldn't only the new IP address be shown?

  • Wirelss card not being detected in backtrack 5

    I just installed backtrack 5 and I am unable to detect my wireless card. iwconfig doesn't list my interface. I can see that the hardware is present in lspci -vnn (see below) but I can't get the interface detected. I have tried to reinstall the compat-wireless package but I get errors during the build (see below) I have done a ton of researching and I keep hitting a brick wall, mostly because the wiki for backtrack is down and I can't find any good resources. Does anyone know how to fix the issue? Also, does anyone no how I can scan the hardware to determine what NIC is assigning my interface? If I can figure out the interface name I think I can set it up manually by putting up the link and using wireless-tools to manually configure the connection, this is what I had to do in arch on my mac. As stated the wiki for backtrack is down and I can't find any help on the issue. I tried to do the full kernel upgrade suggested in my software update but after the update was complete and I logged back in I had a new log in manager and the only thing I was able to log into was window managers. However, after this update my wireless was working fine. Please help I am new to Linux and the wiki is down, I have nowhere else to turn. Forgot to mention I am using the KDE version, not Gnome. Thanks in advance for any help or support.   • Setting up Konico Minolta 1400w printer on windows vista 32bit

  • Why is my SharePoint people search WorkEmail property blank?

    I have an SSP setup for my site and I am trying to get the presence bubble working correctly. However, I cannot get the people search core results webpart to display the workemail. I have output the raw xml into my people search core results xslt and used the SharePoint Query Web Service Test Tool to try and find values for these properties, but they are appearing blank (including sipAddress and HighConfidenceDisplayProperty11). Note: The presence bubble does work when hard coded to users email address, so the problem is absolutely to do with the search results.

  • Command-line tool to deduplicate a single humongous file?

    I make regular snapshots of my VM using a nightly script. These backups are compressed using WinRAR and do shrink considerably, but I suspect it's not as efficient as had the file had been deduplicated first (just a hunch which I'm hoping to test). So instead of compressing the VHD itself, I would like to deduplicate the single file first, and then compress the output of the deduplicator. Is anyone aware of such a CLI tool?

  • Results copied from SSMS splitting across columns when pasted into Excel

    SSMS 2008 - Excel 2003 This isn't happening all the time, but sometimes when I 'copy with headers' from sql server management studio, the results in Excel look as though I've used the 'text to columns' wizard with 'spaces' and 'brackets' as delimiters, meaning that the results become raggedly distributed across columns making them useless I've looked in the 'grid output' query options but can't see anything which may be causing the issue (not sure if this should be on superuser?)
