  I am using php chartdirector to generate some charts for my PHP page. We can add tool tip to the chart by setting the title attribute # Create an image map for the chart $imageMap = $c->getHTMLImageMap("clickline.php", "", "title='{xLabel}: US\$ {value|0}M'"); How would add a html tag to the title, like "title='{xLabel} <br/> Click to view more details'" When I do the above the tag <br/> gets displayed as such without the html rendering.   Today I installed the Ubuntu 10.10 release on my Desktop PC. I was running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS with an Apple Magic Trackpad and everything was working fine. After today's fresh installation of Ubuntu 10.10, I don't see my Apple Magic Trackpad's multitouch working. Two-finger scrolling and three-finger third mouse button clicking are completely broken. Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Has anyone had success with Ubuntu 10.10 and an Apple Magic TrackPad? Please help me to fix this issue. Your help is highly appreciated...

I'll try to demonstrate you what I need to make. inputField1 inputField2 inputField3 BUTTON1 inputField4 inputField5 BUTTON2 inputField6 inputFiled7 inputField8 inputField9 BUTTON3 I hope you understand me what I want to make. So I when I click on some of the buttons I have to collect the data from the input fields and do something with the data. If I click BUTTON1 I collect data from inputField1 inputField2 inputField3 BUTTON2 inputField4 inputField5, etc. Probably I should create the input fields programmatically and group them in forms. • How can I unbind JQZOOM in my JQuery Script?

  Hello, I have this script at the moment, which changes an image when a thumbnail has been changed. I then want JQZOOM to be added to that new image. However, if I put it inside the Onclick event, it gets slower and slower the more times you click on it... I guess because its running multiple instances. Is there anyway to unbind the JQZOOM from something then rebind it to something else? • When/why does Internet Explorer block installation of a (signed) ActiveX control?

  When the user visits a page that contains a signed ActiveX control that has never been seen before, I'd expect IE to ask the user for permission to install the control. But sometimes IE puts up a security warning instead. For example, consider this site, which has a test control: http://www.pcpitstop.com/testax.asp I'd expect to get this message -- and sometimes, I do: "The website wants to run the following add-on: 'XXX' from 'YYY'. If you trust the the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here..." But under IE8 on XP, I usually get this instead: "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this site from showing certain content. Click here for options..." What's going on? Any ideas? Thanks!

However when I click on the 'adBuy' textField on my SWF it opens Coda, the piece of software I'm using to write this small piece of code? I am puzzled.   In a normal aspx page I've set up a jquery tab system. When a particular tab shows up I wire up an ajax call to get another html page with the following content. The btnupdate is supposed to show the contents in the update div and load the form for accepting user input. Whenever I hit btnupdate button I get an object not found exception on IE 8. IE 8 asks if it should start up its in-built debuggger. But, even in this debugger I cannot see what the problem is...However on clicking "No" in that dialog the button click function executes properly, and the form is displayed as intended. Is there a better way to resolve the problem?

• Dell N7110 i7 overheats and doesn't boot when anything is plugged into the USB3 port

  When i plug in any devices (mouse, keyboard) into usb 3.0 system dell n7110 overheats and fan goes crazy with terrible noise. So i'm using 1 usb 2.0 slot now with a usb hub. It doesn't solve the problem completely but system stays at a low fan rate for a longer time. I've tried to lower CPU frequency, but in my case (DELL INSPIRON N7110 i7 on Linux 3.0.0-14-generic #23-Ubuntu SMP Mon Nov 21 20:28:43 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) CPU was pretty cool (51 C) and still the same horrible fan noise. Looks like there is no such problems with ubuntu 10.04 (but there're some other problems). Ubuntu even doesn't boot if anything is plugged into usb 3.0

• Hide Soft Keyboard Not Working ...

  I'm developing on the Droid Incredible (and have tested on a 1.5 AVD Emulator as well), and one of the tabs in my tab widget consists of a listview and a row with an EditText and a Send button (for a chat feature). I am using the following to close the soft keyboard once I click Send, but it's not working. This is identical to code I've found elsewhere that people have upvoted as correct. • Architecture of interaction modes ("paint tools") for a 3D paint program

  We are developing a Qt-based application to navigate through and paint on a volume treated as a 3D pixel graphic. The layout of the app consists of three orthogonal slice views on which the user may paint stuff like dots, circles etc. and also erase already painted pixels. Think of a 3D Gimp or MS Paint. How would you design the the architecture for the different interaction modes (i.e. paint tools)? My idea is: use the MVC pattern have a separate controler for every interaction mode install an event filter on all three slice views to collect all incoming user interaction events (mouse, keyboard) redirect the events to the currently active interaction controler I would appreciate critical comments on that idea.

  I need to attach a single event handler to multiple DOM elements using jQuery. I'm currently achieving this using jQuery's each() method. See below: $([elm1, elm2, elm3]).each(function() { this.click(eventHandler); }); I was wondering if there is a way to do this without using the each method and closure. I thought I would be able to do something like: $(elm1, elm2, elm3).click(eventHandler); This kind of statement works using Prototype.js but not in jQuery.The reason I ask the question is because after using both Prototype.js and jQuery I have found that jQuery requires simpler statements to achieve the same tasks in almost every area so I assume there must be a better way of doing this?

• Gap appears between navigation bar and view after rotating & tab switching

  My iphone application is showing strange behavior when rotating: a gap appears between the navigation title and content view inside a tab bar view (details on how to reproduce are below). I've created a tiny test case that exhibits the same problem: a custom root UIViewController, which creates and displays a UITabBarController programmatically, which has two tabs: 1) plain UIViewController, and 2) UINavigationController created programmatically with a single plain UIViewController content view. The complete code for the application is in the root controller's viewDidLoad (every "*VC" class is a totally vanilla UIViewController subclass with XIB for user interface from XCode, with only the view background color changed to clearly identify each view, nothing else). From my real application, I see that the gap remains during all VC push and pops while the NavigationController tab is active. Switching away to a different tab and back to the Nav tab clears up the gap. What am I doing wrong? I'm running on SDK 3.1.3, this happens both on the simulator and on the device. Except for this particular sequence, everything seems to work fine. Help!

• Flowplayer: Clicking on the player forces is to reload.

  Hey everyone, I've got this damn annoying bug (or wrong setting) that makes the player reload whenever it's clicked. It's set to play when you click, so when you click it, it reloads. The circle begins.... The reloading only happens in Firefox. In Safari (and I assume Chrome), the video opens in its own window. Not ideal, but it still plays. • How to retarget the scroll wheel in VB.Net?

  I have a form in VB.Net with Autoscroll enabled and several ComboBoxes within it. When I click on a ComboBox, I can use the mouse wheel to scroll through options, but I cannot deselect the ComboBox (by clicking off it on a blank portion of the parent form) in order to return to scrolling the parent form. This makes navigation in the form annoying, as I instinctively click off the control and flip the scroll wheel, causing the ComboBox to change selections instead of moving the parent form. Is there a way to make this work in the intuitive way I expect it to, or do I have some conceptual confusion that makes this the wrong question to ask?

• AVDs that exist do not get listed in the "Target Tab"

  I am using emulator Android 2.1 with Eclipse. For few days I had the emulator working ... was able to debug... I had 2 AVDs created and was using one of them. Earlier today I had to move my classes to a different package. Ever since I did that the configuration that I had has disappeared . So now I had to create configuration - I select Android Application and then click New - gave it a name TestPrjCfg - when I go to the "Target" tab - I see "No AVD available" but when I click manager I see two AVDs listed. I tired refresh in the "Target" tab - the existing AVDs do not show up. I used the Manager and created a third AVD that did not help either. Please let me know what am I missing here? What should I do so that the existing AVDs showup in the "Target" tab- Thank you for the time and effort abhi

• Why doesn't compiz show the outline when I use the grid?

  When I drag windows, instead of getting an outline like I would on a clean install, I get nothing, so I don't know what function the plugin will use before releasing the mouse, other than what I guess it will do. Is there something known to cause this to happen, and what can I do to get back the outline? (NB: I have the outline enabled in the plugin settings, so please do not ask me to enable it :D (lol)!) EDIT: Now I have reinstalled the compiz plugins cleanly and still noting :(. What can I do?

• Flash completely freeze computer

  Since this morning, and ever so frequently, Flash will completely freeze the computer as soon as something launches it. First, the web page will stop responding, then the entire browser, and after about 2 seconds, the mouse and keyboard will stop responding and the computer will escalate to 100% usage, and all that's left is to perform a hard reboot. I tried re-installing Flash, downgrade my kernel, nothing will do. I'm running Mint 13 64-bit (based on Ubuntu 12.04) with XFCE (not Xubuntu, I installed XFCE as separate package). It never freezes otherwise, so I know it's caused by Flash. How do I solve this issue? What could cause this?

  I've simple iphone application. it has 3 views. first view is portrait view that has 3 buttons. second view has a table view which is also a portrait. In first view, on click of a button second view is shown. on click of a cell in second view, thrid view is shown. but third view is a landscape. I'm using "pushViewController" to navigate from each view. When creating views in IB, first two views are portait and 3rd view is a landscape. • Jwplayer 6: html5 fullscreen when video clicked to play

  I want to be able to use jwplayer so that when the user clicks on the video the video will start to play in fullscreen mode. I want this functionality to work on mobile devices that support html5. If the video is played on a mobile device it will take up the whole screen. Youtube and Vimeo currently do this on mobile devices. The Link Below uses Html5 video tag, which plays in fullscreen on mobile device when the video is clicked on. The only way I that I know that jwplayer allows fullscreen is that I manually click on the fullscreen button, but it would be nice to only click on the video to trigger the video to play in full screen.
