• A script that writes errors and should create a event-error

  this if it works should check the internet connection if there is a connection it does nothing. if there isn't a connection it should write a error in a txtfile if that happend 5 times it should create a error but it doesn't I will show you the whole code that i have now and the piece of code that i want in a loop. • WPF UserControl event called only once?

  Hi Everyone, I need to bind two-way a property of a user control to a property of a containing user control. I also need to set a default value to the property from code in the child (cannot be done easily from XAML tags). If I call my code from the child constructor, the value is set in the parent but the change callback routine is not triggered (my understanding is that the parent doesn't yet exist at the time the child is created). My current workaround is to catch the Loaded event of the child and to call the code from the handler. Howver as Loaded is called more than once, I need to set a flag to set the property only the first time. I don't like this way, but I don't know if there is a single shot event that could be used, or if this can be done otherwise. Any feedback based on your experience?

I have the same table with a sequence in ORACLE, I couldn't find a snippet that shows how to disable the sequence and set it to start again with the MAX(id) + 1. My user wants the page to display the columns of data in a different order than they come in from the database. Is there an easy and safe way to re-order the columns in an ADO recordset? I did not write this page and cannot change the SP. What is the minimum change I can make here to get the job done and not risk screwing up all the other stuff in the page? • How can I link two Java serialised objects back together?

  Sometimes (quite a lot, actually) we get a situation in Java where two objects are pointing to the same thing. Now if we serialise these separately it is quite appropriate that the serialised forms have separate copies of the object as it should be possible to open one without the other. However if we now deserialise them both, we find that they are still separated. Is there any way to link them back together? • Transforming a TXT file in a list, getting wrong

  I have a txt plain file that has a list of numbers. One number per line, like: 978-972-722-649-8 978-972-722-646-7 978-972-722-627-6 978-972-722-625-2 978-972-722-594-1 etc. This list is on a file called file.txt, was created and saved on TextEdit using Western (ISO Latin 1) encoding. Now I am trying to use Applescript to read this file and transform it on a list. I have this script set myDirectory to path to desktop folder as string set myFile to myDirectory & "file.txt" try set open_file to ¬ open for access file myFile without write permission set myList to read open_file using delimiter return close access open_file on error try close access file open_file end try end try after running this script, myList contains just ONE item and this item is "97" (I suppose that is the first two numbers of the first entry). • iOS UITableViewCell UIImageView setting on different conditions

  I have an app that has a UITableView and in my Cells I have UIImageViews and UILabels that change images/textColors for a day theme and a night theme (trying to be automatically set). My issue is that I set the images and colors when the table is populated with cellForRowAtIndexPath and its during the day "theme", then if I reopen the app hours later in the night "theme" and the app is still in the "background" and not needing to be reloaded (ie viewDidLoad doesn't fire), the day "theme" shows until I scroll the UITableView and then the night "theme" shows when new cells are brought into view by scrolling. How should I set the objects in my cells when changing around time of the day? I was thinking to use an NSTimer, but I'm not sure how to update the objects in my cells. I was also thinking about using the appropriate methods in the AppDelagate to set things in motion, but is there a way to force reloading the TableView? Any suggestions?

I can parse the above line to key-value pairs, and, also it's easy to set the name and value to HttpCookie instance as this pair comes the first. But how to set the other pairs since I don't know which set-method corresponds to the name of the next name-value pair. • How often should network traffic/collisions cause SNMP Sets to fail?

  My team has a situation where an SNMP SET will fail once every two weeks or so. Since this set happens automatically, we don't necessarily notice it immediately when it fails, and this can result in an inconsistent configuration and associated wailing and gnashing of teeth. The plan is to fix this by having our software automatically retry the SET when it fails. The problem is, we aren't sure why the failure is happening. My (extremely limited) knowledge of SNMP isn't particularly helpful in diagnosing this problem, so I thought I'd ask StackOverflow for some advice. We think that every so often a spike in network traffic will cause the SET to fail. Since SNMP uses UDP for communication, I would think it would be relatively easy for a command to be drowned out if traffic was high for a short period of time. However, I have no idea how common this is. We have a small network with a single cisco router and there are less than a dozen SNMP controlled devices on that network. In addition to the SNMP traffic, there are some status web pages being loaded from the various devices. In case it makes a difference, I believe we are using the AdventNet SNMP API version 4.0.4 for Java. Does it sound reasonable that there will be some SET commands dropped occasionally, or should we be looking for other causes?

  I have a list of data where I keep e.g. countries with code, name and some other data. List<Country> countries = <deserialized objects from file> which consist of objects like this: public class Country { public string Code { get; set;} public string Name { get; set;} } The object which use as a DataContext may look like this: public class Address { public string StreetName{ get; set;} public string CountryCode { get; set;} } Then in my XAML I want to do something like this to show the name of the country <TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=CountryCode, Converter={StaticResource CountryNameLookupConverter}}"/> But how can I make the CountryNameLookupConverter use the countries list I read from the xml file?

  I have a workflow associated with a content type. I try to kick it off from code from within the event receiver on the same content type, so when an item is updated, if there is a certain condition (status = ready for review) I start it. //This line does find the workflow association var assoc = properties.Web.ContentTypes["Experiment Document Set"].WorkflowAssociations.GetAssociationByName("Experiment Review Workflow", ultureInfo.CurrentUICulture); //I had tried to use this line from something I found online, but it would return null //var assoc = properties.Web.WorkflowAssociations.GetAssociationByName("Experiment Review Workflow", CultureInfo.CurrentUICulture); var result = properties.Web.Site.WorkflowManager.StartWorkflow(properties.ListItem, assoc, string.Empty, SPWorkflowRunOptions.Synchronous); //The line above gives me this error: System.ArgumentException: Workflow failed to start because the workflow is associated with a content type that does not exist in a list. Before re-starting the workflow, the content type must be added to the list. To check this, I was looking at the content type of the list item being updated and it is correct properties.ListItem.ContentType.Name "Experiment Document Set" So basically I have a workfow associated with the content type "Experiment Document Set". When I try to start a workflow from an event receiver in "Experiment Document Set", I get an error saying the content type "Experiment Document Set" does not exist in the list which doesn't make sense.

  I'm using a database link to execute a DELETE statement on another DB, but the DB link name doesn't conform to global naming, and this requirement cannot change. Also I have global_names set to false, and cannot be changed either. When I try to use these links however, I receive: ORA-02069: - global_names parameter must be set to TRUE for this operation Cause: A remote mapping of the statement is required but cannot be achieved because GLOBAL_NAMES should be set to TRUE for it to be achieved. - Action: Issue `ALTER SESSION SET GLOBAL_NAMES = TRUE` (if possible) What is the alternative action when setting global_names=true is not possible?   Hello comunnity! I am filling a div using JQuery. This div has the CSS property 'overflow' set to 'auto' (to display scrollbars because the div has a lot of HTML inside). But the DIV doesn't display the scrollbars. I think that the problem is that I'm setting the CSS property using CSS and the DIV is filling dynamically. How can I do to display scrollbars if the HTML inside the DIV doesn't fit, but dynamically? I'm trying to set the property manually after fill the div, but didn't work: function createWB(tag){ // Fill the div // ... // Set the scrollbars $('.tab_content').css('overflow','auto'); } If a set the property to 'scroll', the scrollbars appear, but disabled.
