• Bitmap to Texture2D problem with colors

  I have a small problem with converting a bitmap to a Texture2D. The resulted image of the conversion has the red channel switched with the blue channel :/ I don't know why, because the pixel formats are the same. • How to make grub stop appearing every time I boot?

  I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and grub selections appear each time I boot. This happens on both of my computers. I have tried editing the /etc/defaults/grub to use default, to use the 0 entry, and ran the update on it. But nothing seems to solve the problem.   Im trying to make part of my form/questionnaire appears when hover on image and stay active untill hover another image next to it. and repeat it on 7 images. Of course I need the cheched checkboxes to stay after they'll be hidden so you can come back to them by hover the image and for ex. correct answers and so on..   We have 2 site that is linked by an IPSEC VPN to remote Cisco ASAs: Site 1 1.5Mb T1 Connection Cisco(1) 2841 Site 2 1.5Mb T1 Connection Cisco 2841 In addition: Site 1 has a 2nd WAN 3Mb bonded T1 Connection Cisco 5510 that connects to same LAN as Cisco(1) 2841. Basically, Remote Access (VPN) users connecting through Cisco ASA 5510 needs access to a service at the end of Site 2. This is due to the way the service is sold - Cisco 2841 routers are not under our management and it is setup to allow connection from local LAN VLAN 1 IP address 10.20.0.0/24. My idea is to have all traffic from Remote Users through Cisco ASA destined for Site 2 to go via the VPN between Site 1 and Site 2. The end result being all traffic that hits Site 2 has come via Site 1. I'm struggling to find a great deal of information on how this is setup. So, firstly, can anyone confirm that what I'm trying to achieve is possible? Secondly, can anyone help me to correct the configuration bellow or point me in the direction of an example of such a configuration? • How to set a Transparent Background of JPanel

  Hi, I need to know if a JPanel`s bacground can be set to Transparent? My frame is has two Jpanels Image Panel and Feature Panel, Feature Panel is overlapping Image Panel, the Image Panel is working as a background and it is loading image from a remote Url, now I want to draw shaps on Feature Panel , but now Image Panel cannot be seen due to Feature Panel's background color. I need to make Feature Panel background transparent while still drawing its shapes and i want Image Panel to be visible since it is doing tiling and cache function of images. I need to seperate the image drawing and shape drawing thats why I`m using two jPanels! is there anyway the overlapping Jpanel have a transparent background? thanks

• Make overflow hidden when shrinking div

  I have a div with an image in it, and the image is too large for the div. I have solved the overflow problem with the obvious CSS overflow:hidden trick. But, the problem is that when the div's parent resizes (shrinks), the div holding the image won't shrink because of the image in it. Is there a way to have a resizable div with an image in it (almost like a background image) that overflows? • Rails 3.1 assets not recognizing new images uploaded by rmagick until server restart

  I have my Rails 3.1.0 application running with passenger in production environment and I have a section where the application allows the user to change his profile picture so I upload the image using an ajax uploader and in my controller I upload the file and generate different sizes for the image with rmagick then I render the new image with an image_tag but the application won't show the image till I restart the server. What I get is No route matches [GET] "assets/path/to/image.png" If I restart the server It will show the image, but obviously I can't be restarting the server every once a user uploads a new image. How can I solve the keeping the assets working the right way?

• How to implement Cocoa copyWithZone on derived object in MonoMac C#?

  I'm currently porting a small Winforms-based .NET application to use a native Mac front-end with MonoMac. The application has a TreeControl with icons and text, which does not exist out of the box in Cocoa. So far, I've ported almost all of the ImageAndTextCell code in Apple's DragNDrop example: https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#samplecode/DragNDropOutlineView/Listings/ImageAndTextCell_m.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/DTS40008831-ImageAndTextCell_m-DontLinkElementID_6, which is assigned to an NSOutlineView as a custom cell. It seems to be working almost perfectly, except that I have not figured out how to properly port the copyWithZone method. Unfortunately, this means the internal copies that NSOutlineView is making do not have the image field, and it leads to the images briefly vanishing during expand and collapse operations. The objective-c code in question is: - (id)copyWithZone:(NSZone *)zone { ImageAndTextCell *cell = (ImageAndTextCell *)[super copyWithZone:zone]; // The image ivar will be directly copied; we need to retain or copy it. cell->image = [image retain]; return cell; } The first line is what's tripping me up, as MonoMac does not expose a copyWithZone method, and I don't know how to otherwise call it. The unmanaged object will persist persist forever (I think? dealloc never called), and the managed object will be harvested early. Seems to be lose-lose all-around, but runs in practice. Method 2: Saves a reference of the managed object. The unmanaged object is left alone, and dealloc appears to be invoked at a reasonable time by the caller. At this point the managed object is released and disposed. This seems reasonable, but on the downside the base type's dealloc won't be run (I think?) Method 3: Increases the retain count and saves a reference. Unmanaged and managed objects leak forever. Method 4: Extends Method 3 by adding a cleanup function that is run periodically (e.g. during Init of each new ImageAndTextCell object). The cleanup function checks the retain counts of the stored objects. A retain count of 1 means the caller has released it, so we should as well. Should eliminate leaking in theory. Method 5: Attempt to invoke the copyWithZone method on the base type, and then construct a new ImageAndTextView object with the resulting handle. Seems to do the right thing (the base data is cloned). Internally, NSObject bumps the retain count on objects constructed like this, so we also use the PeriodicCleanup function to release these objects when they're no longer used. Based on the above, I believe Method 5 is the best approach since it should be the only one that results in a truly correct copy of the base type data, but I don't know if the approach is inherently dangerous (I am also making some assumptions about the underlying implementation of NSObject). So far nothing bad has happened "yet", but if anyone is able to vet my analysis then I would be more confident going forward.

• Why does embeded vimeo video keeps on flickering?

  Look here: http://mashinaizec.com/mons-2 When you click on some image, fancybox comes in and display that image and put overlay above entire page. What also happens is that vimeo video on the right keeps refreshing preview image whenever i click on any image in gallery. Also, if you scroll the window to the bottom and them click on, for example, on the bottom left image, overlay shoots in, image is there but see that little X in the top right corner of the image? It is not displayed as it should. Any idea what to do?

• ASP.NET Build Images Links Dynamically

  Good Day, I am developing a website that has product images on an external server. I have code that tests to see if the image exists like (pseudo code): DynamicString = FunctionThatCreatesDynamicString() ' DynamicString = "http://external_server/path/to/file1.jpg" If ImageExists(DyanmicString) = StatusCode.200 Then ' Embed link in ASP.NET page Else ' Embed not found image in ASP.NET page End If My code builds fine and appears to execute. The problem occurs when I attempt to view the external link in a browser, the image appears properly (I have to authenticate first, but that's OK considering I'm on an internal network and this app will be used internally). However, when I attempt the view the source in my generated HTML page, I am seeing the image to the "Not Found" image when I know the image is there. I compared all the characters in my dynamically assembled to the external link and all the characters are matching up correctly. I'm wondering if the authentication has anything to do with why the image is not rendering properly on my rendered HTML. Any thoughts? TIA, coson

• Fatsest way to edit alpha of CGImage (or UIImage) with touch and then display?

  I have two image views, one on top of the another, with two different images. As the user touches the image and moves his/her finger, the top image should become transparent along the touch points with a fixed radius. (Like the PhotoChop app). Currently I am doing it this way... For each touch. Get a copy of the image buffer from CGImage of the top image. Edit the alpha channel of the buffer to create a transparent circle centered at the touch point. Create new CGImage from the buffer. Create UIImage from the CGImage and use the new UIImage as the top image view's image. This works but as you can see too many copy, creates are involved and it is slow. Can somebody please suggest me a faster way of doing the same thing?

• Django - raw_id_fields title not refreshing.

  Hi, I am currently having an issue when using the raw_id_field within admin.py in my Django project. My site's admin area has a number of image upload fields for various different model pages which are all ForeignKey fields to an Image model where all images for the site are stored. As the site will eventually be dealing with a large quantity of images (100s, maybe 1000s) the default select box would be unusable. I created various admin.ModelAdmin classes e.g class InfoSlideAdmin(admin.ModelAdmin): raw_id_fields=('image',) These change the image selector within my Edit pages from a Select Box to a Raw ID Field. However when I select a different image using this control although the ID of the new image is shown the title from the previous image still displays. Any ideas?
