  • Solr Facet Search spring-data-solr

    I am new to Solr and we are using Spring-data for Solr I have a question may be its too simple but I am unable to comprehend. Basically I need to search on any field but I have a "zip" field as one of the facet fields. I have a Solr repository . (Am not sure if the annotations on the Repository are correct.) public interface MyRepository extends SolrCrudRepository<MyPOJO, String> { @Query(value = "*:*") @Facet(fields={"zip"}) public FacetPage<MyPOJO> findByQueryandAnno(String searchTerm,Pageable page); } In my Service class I am trying to call this methods by Injecting MyRepository like below public class MyService { @Inject MyRepository solrRepo; @Inject SolrTemplate solrTemplate; public FacetPage<MyPOJO> tryFacets(String searchString){ //Here is where I am struggling SimpleFacetQuery query = new SimpleQuery(new SimpleStringCriteria(searchString)); query.setFacetOptions(new FacetOptions("zip")); //Not sure how to get the Pageable object. //But the repository doesnt accept without it. return solrTemplate.queryForPage(query,{Pageable Instance to be passed here}) } From my jUnit I am loading context files needed for Solr and Spring //In jUnit the test method looks like this service.tryFacets("some value"); and it fails with - method not found in the service class at the call to the repository method. *********EDIT**************** As per ChristophStrobl's advice created a copyfield called multivaluedCopyField and the searchString argument works good. But the facet still isnt working...Now my code looks like this.   • MVC Partial View Postback - Jquery validation lost

    I have a partial view which uses Jquery Valiation. This works OK when initially loaded, however after I do a ajax postback and return the partial view from the server with an error showing, the jquery validation seems to be lost. In that, if I delete a required field and hit save the partial view gets submitted, when I would expect it to show an error message and not get submitted. Does Jquery validation need to be initialised somehow for the form in the partial view?

  • How can I move the clear button in a UITextField?

  • Image Data via Ajax - how can I display the image on the Page

    I am creating a Domino Document via AJAX that contains a photo. I am able to get the base64 image data back to the server in a Notes Domino Document. Data is stored in a Richtext (textarea) field as "data:image/jpeg;base64,/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAQAAAQABAAD/2wBDAFA..........." - (this goes on for several lines) I am trying to display on the Domino Webpage using passthru tag <<image id= "pic1" >> in the onLoad event of the Form i try to shove the data into the image element using this code: //Photo Stuff alert(document.forms[0].photo1.value); document.getElementById("pic1").src = document.forms[0].photo1.value; The alert is showing the data.     Hi All, I am using autocomplete with scrollbar for my textbox. Autocomplete for touch screen. I can scroll up and down using the mouse wheel but i want to Use the mouse button to scroll up or down by dragging the scroll bar. if i use mouse button it moves the focus away from the text box field. Autocomplete is working only when using the keyboard not with the user defined keys. Geetha

But if i type a few letters and wish to go back without continuing the search, it automatically asks me whether to save the contents of the field. I don want this to happen. Can i in any way disable the "Changes made!-save-discard-cancel" option in basiceditfield(or any editfield for that matter)????please help!!!

    Ok so I am starting off with android development and I have found a bunch of useful tutorials so I am set there. What I am looking for is a resource that provides homework style problems to do and has the answers downloadable so I can check my solution against the "official" solution. So for example instead of the notepad tutorial it would be: "Build an application that you can create, edit, delete notes, ...etc.". Ideally the "official" solution would have some explanation as to why they built it the way they did. (so a tutorial at the tail end) Anyone know of any resources that provide their tutorials in this format? Thanks.

  • IIS 6 session timing out a lot quicker than expected

    I am working with an web application that has its sessions timing out a lot quicker than expected. We expected a timeout of 15 minutes but it's timing out at 3-4 minutes. Info about environment: IIS6 classic ASP / COM+ app timeout OK on current PROD, much quicker in dev / QA environments We already disabled app pool recycling, and even put IIS in isolation mode - no effect HTTP err log doesn't display any lines when session times out We've done a close comparison of PROD and DEV / QA environments, and given we use virtual machines on all of them, settings should be preserved. I tried to find IIS blog notes from David Wang but many of them now have HTTP 404 errors, and I don't know what else to do. Please help! At the very least, is there a way to get IIS to log every time a session expires? At the very least some means of logging / debugging IIS would be useful. Thanks in advance.

    I have a typical views page displaying nodes, with a taxonomy tid receiveid as an argument through the url: cat/% Now I want to further narow the results with an exposed filter by a cck field. All goes well and for tid=10 (for instance), the filtered page url is cat/10?field_no_people_value=5 Now, when I expose the filter in a block, the argument, tid, goes away and I get cat/all?field_no_people_value=5 . Obviously, filtering by tid doesn't happen anymore. How should I get around this?

    I would like to remove selected commits from a linear commit tree, so that the commits do not show in the commit log. My commit tree looks something like: R--A--B--C--D--E--HEAD I would like to remove the B and C commits. So that they do not show in the commit log, but changes from A to D should be preserved. Maybe by introducing a single commit, so that B and C become BC and the tree looks like. R--A--BC--D--E--HEAD Or, ideally, after A comes D directly. D' representing changes from A to B, B to C and C to D. R--A--D'--E--HEAD Is this possible? if yes, how? Some notes that might be helpful: This is a fairly new project so has no branches as of now, hence no merges as well. Side note: It's a personal project, so no, I'm not trying to destroy any evidence :)

It gives the following error: "parseXML is not defined" var oSVG = document.getElementById("svg-wall").getSVGDocument(); var oNotes = oSVG.getElementById('notes'); oNotes.appendChild(parseXML(oFragment, document)); So my question is what am i doing wrong and is this even the best way to append a svg string to the dom?

I want to add functionality so that when the user types in the username field, an ajax call is triggered to check whether the username is already taken. My requirements are: Preferably integrate with JQuery Validation plugin, rather than writing a custom function I want the lookup to occur on the nkeyup event I want the lookup to be triggered approx 0.5 seconds after the keyup event has occurred. I tried like this: validateRequired($('#name')); but it doesn't work. How can I do this?

  • Entity Framework + stored procedure with paging

    I am using Entity Framework now and using a stored procedure to populate my entity. Where there is no problem with populating my entity, but when i trying to bind the result to a gridview control with "Enable Paging" set to true, it gives an error saying "The data source does not support server-side data paging." I am using stored procedure because one of the table column is FullTextIndexed, and there is a requirement to be able to search on that field. Can anyone tell me how the paging would work in this situation?
