  • Outlook keeps forgetting safe sender domains and ignoring contacts

    - by Jivlain
I get a large number of quite similar emails from a particular address, most of which Outlook 2010 identifies as spam. None of these are actually spam. I have Outlook's junk email proection set to Low, and have told it to trust email from my contacts. I have added the address to my list of safe senders, and I have also tried adding it to my contacts. However: it keeps dropping the address from my safe senders list - I add it, it stays there for a while, but eventually I'll have a legitimate mail identified as spam, and the address will have been dropped from the list. Meanwhile, despite adding that sender to my contacts, it is still classifying their mail as junk. Any ideas of how to fix this?

  • Apache RewriteRule ignoring RewriteCond?

    - by winsmith
So I have an Apache running on OSX Server 10.4 (don't ask) with multiple sites. In 0002_[example.com].conf, I have this bit of code: <Directory "/Library/WebServer/Documents/secret/"> RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} !^137\.250\. RewriteRule .* /messages/secret.html </Directory> However, in this configuration, the RewriteCond always seems to evaluate to false, since the secret directory gets shown even if the client's address does not begin with 137.250. If I change the config to this <Directory "/Library/WebServer/Documents/secret/"> RewriteEngine On RewriteRule .* /messages/secret.html RewriteCond %{REMOTE_ADDR} !^137\.250\. </Directory> the condition either does not get evaluated at all or always evaluates to true. Either way, all clients get blocked. What am I doing wrong?

  • File report ignoring NTFS permissions

    - by Edulin
I need to inventory based on file age a huge NAS. Some folders are restricted, and only users or groups have rights. As you probably know Treesize is the best solution, the only problem I found is that if I want to script it it only takes a screenshot instead of writing the information to a text file. (If done through the GUI I'm allowed to copy/paste into text, but I need to script it, several shares). Robocopy /l lists the files but I also need to know the dates (last access / last modify) I saw a kernel driver by hobeanu to bypass ntfs permissions. But do you know any easier way to bypass ntfs permissions? or any other application that allows this type of request and save the information to a text file. (scriptable) Thanks

  • Ignoring Whitespace with Regex(perl)

    - by Zerobu
    Hello, I am using Perl Regular expressions. How would i go about ignoring white space and still perform a test to see if a string match. For example. $var = " hello "; #I want var to igonore whitespace and still match if($var =~ m/hello/) { }

  • Find substring ignoring specified characters

    - by Fredy Treboux
Hello, please, does any of you knows and can share an easy/clean way to find a substring within a string, but ignoring some specified characters to find it. I think an example would explain things better: string: "Hello, -this- is a string" substring to find: "Hello this" chars to ignore: "," and "-" found the substring, result: "Hello, -this" Using Regex it's not a requirement for me, just added the tag because it feels related.

  • how can I count number of occurance of a word in a string while ignoring cases

    - by Ronny
I am trying to count the number of occurance of a given word while ignoring cases. I have tried <?php $string = 'Hello World! EARTh in earth and EARth';//string to look into. if(stristr($string, 'eartH')) { echo 'Found';// this just show eartH was found. } $timesfound = substr_count($string, stristr($string, 'eartH'));// this count how many times. echo $timesfound; // this outputs 1 instead of 3.

  • How to compare strings ignoring case (C++)?

    - by zebraman
I am aware there is a function strcasecmp() that compares cstrings ignoring case, but I was wondering if there is a function that does the same thing except with strings? I am working with a bunch of strings, and feel like it would be terribly inefficient to have to use c_str() each time I want to compare them with strcasecmp(). Should I just use cstrings instead of strings...?

  • Git: Ignoring certain commits when pushing

    - by int3
I'd like to have some modifications that are private to my fork. How do I go about doing this? There's a question here about pushing a single commit, and the answer is to cherry-pick the commits you want to push from a private branch and put them on the main branch. However, I would like something more along the lines of ignoring a certain commit when pushing.

  • Ignoring 'A' and 'The' when sorting with XSLT

    - by ChrisV
I would like to have a list sorted ignoring any initial definite/indefinite articles 'the' and 'a'. For instance: The Comedy of Errors Hamlet A Midsummer Night's Dream Twelfth Night The Winter's Tale I think perhaps in XSLT 2.0 this could be achieved along the lines of: <xsl:template match="/"> <xsl:for-each select="play"/> <xsl:sort select="if (starts-with(title, 'A ')) then substring(title, 2) else if (starts-with(title, 'The ')) then substring(title, 4) else title"/> <p><xsl:value-of select="title"/></p> </xsl:for-each> </xsl:template> However, I want to use in-browser processing, so have to use XSLT 1.0. Is there any way to achieve this in XLST 1.0?

  • mingw spitting countless warnings about ignoring "dll import" attribute

    - by hasen j
I'm using mingw32-make to compile a qt project that uses opengl, it compiles correctly and everything, but it spits countless warning messages of the form: c:/qt3/include/qcolor.h:67: warning: inline function `int qGray(int, int, int)' declared as dllimport: attribute ignored For this particular instance, the function declaration is: Q_EXPORT inline int qGray( int r, int g, int b )// convert R,G,B to gray 0..255 { return (r*11+g*16+b*5)/32; } My question is, why is it spitting all these warning? how can I silence them without silencing other legitimate warnings (i.e. warnings that are related directly to my code and could be potential problems)? More importantly, why is mingw ignoring the dll import attribute in the first place?

  • jQuery ajax() function is ignoring dataType parameter in Firefox

    - by ccleve
I'm trying to use jQuery.ajax() to fetch some html, but Firefox is giving me a "junk after document element" error message. As explained here and here the problem seems to be that Firefox is expecting XML from the server, and when it doesn't parse correctly it throws the error. Here's my ajax code: jQuery.ajax({ url: name, dataType: "html", success: function(result) { console.log(result); }, error: function (jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown) { console.log(errorThrown); } }); The server returns the html with these response headers: Accept-Ranges bytes Content-Length 2957 Last-Modified Tue, 02 Jul 2013 16:16:59 GMT Note that there's no content-type header. I'm sure that adding one would solve the problem, but that's not an option. The real problem is that Firefox appears to be ignoring the dataType: parameter in the ajax call. I've also tried adding contentType: and accepts: parameters, but it doesn't help. What am I missing here? How do I force Firefox to process the response as plain text?

  • Full page reload on Post/Redirect/Get ignoring cache control

    - by Kristof Neirynck
I have a page that loads a lot of images, css and javascript. I've added a far future Expires header and set Cache-Control to public on these external dependencies so they should be cached. But every time I do a Post/Redirect/Get chrome tries to load these again. This behavior is very similar to reloading the page. I've added ETags and handle the If-None-Match header which helps a bit, but it still generates too many useless requests. How do I tell chrome and safari to get the files from cache? chrome NOK safari NOK firefox OK ie OK Also see Full page reload on Post/Redirect/Get ignoring cache control on the google support forum.

  • sql server db deployment script ignoring constraints etc until commit

    - by Daniel
Hi all, I am planning on doing a database deployment script for sql server 2005. Currently we have a tool that will run all of the tables, foreign keys, indexes and then data, each of which is located in a separate file with a certain extension (eg. tab, .kci, .fky) and the tool just runs *.tab, *.kci, *.fky into the db etc. Could I possibly combine all of thse into one file and have them run ignoring referential integrity until they are all complete, I would turn it on before we started inserting test data. It is just unmanageable having to maintain 4 or 5 different types of scripts for one table. Are there any issues I should be aware of? Cheers

  • Firefox 17.0.1 ignoring font-weight

    - by jphogan
http://iamsinc.com/blog/new-producer-bonus/ For some reason Firefox 17.0.1 on my Windows 7 machine is ignoring the font-weight of the td elements. It should be normal. This works fine in Chrome, IE 7 8, & 9, but not in FF. I have also tested it on an XP machine running 17.0.1 and it works fine. The font-weight should be normal, not bold. In the second box down ($300k level), the font-weight is showing up as bold on Win 7 FF 17.0.1 which pushes the pictures outside of the box. I have even tried reducing the font-weight waaay down and it has not effect on the problematic FF browser Does anybody have a solution or even a work-around? I hate to make the pictures all smaller just to work around this. Thanks!

  • mysql: Average over multiple columns in one row, ignoring nulls

    - by Sai Emrys
I have a large table (of sites) with several numeric columns - say a through f. (These are site rankings from different organizations, like alexa, google, quantcast, etc. Each has a different range and format; they're straight dumps from the outside DBs.) For many of the records, one or more of these columns is null, because the outside DB doesn't have data for it. They all cover different subsets of my DB. I want column t to be their weighted average (each of a..f have static weights which I assign), ignoring null values (which can occur in any of them), except being null if they're all null. I would prefer to do this with a simple SQL calculation, rather than doing it in app code or using some huge ugly nested if block to handle every permutation of nulls. (Given that I have an increasing number of columns to average over as I add in more outside DB sources, this would be exponentially more ugly and bug-prone.) I'd use AVG but that's only for group by, and this is w/in one record. The data is semantically nullable, and I don't want to average in some "average" value in place of the nulls; I want to only be counting the columns for which data is there. Is there a good way to do this? Ideally, what I want is something like UPDATE sites SET t = AVG(a*a_weight,b*b_weight,...) where any null values are just ignored and no grouping is happening.

  • ignoring elements order in xml validation against xsd

    - by segolas
Hi, Ia processing an email and saving some header inside a xml document. I also need to validate the document against a xml schema. As the subject suggest, I need to validate ignoring the elements order but, as far as I read this seems to be impossible. Am I correct? If I put the headers in a<xsd:sequence>, the order obviously matter. If I us the order is ignored but for some strange reason this imply that the elements must occur at least once. My xml is something like this: <headers> <subject>bla bla bla</subject> <recipient>[email protected]</recipient> <recipient>rcp02domain.com</recipient> <recipient>[email protected]</recipient> </headers> but I think the final document is valid even if subject and recipient elements are swapped. There is really nothing to do?

  • Hibernate + Spring : cascade deletion ignoring non-nullable constraints

    - by E.Benoît
Hello, I seem to be having one weird problem with some Hibernate data classes. In a very specific case, deleting an object should fail due to existing, non-nullable relations - however it does not. The strangest part is that a few other classes related to the same definition behave appropriately. I'm using HSQLDB 1.8.0.10, Hibernate 3.5.0 (final) and Spring 3.0.2. The Hibernate properties are set so that batch updates are disabled. The class whose instances are being deleted is: @Entity( name = "users.Credentials" ) @Table( name = "credentials" , schema = "users" ) public class Credentials extends ModelBase { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; /* Some basic fields here */ /** Administrator credentials, if any */ @OneToOne( mappedBy = "credentials" , fetch = FetchType.LAZY ) public AdminCredentials adminCredentials; /** Active account data */ @OneToOne( mappedBy = "credentials" , fetch = FetchType.LAZY ) public Account activeAccount; /* Some more reverse relations here */ } (ModelBase is a class that simply declares a Long field named "id" as being automatically generated) The Account class, which is one for which constraints work, looks like this: @Entity( name = "users.Account" ) @Table( name = "accounts" , schema = "users" ) public class Account extends ModelBase { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; /** Credentials the account is linked to */ @OneToOne( optional = false ) @JoinColumn( name = "credentials_id" , referencedColumnName = "id" , nullable = false , updatable = false ) public Credentials credentials; /* Some more fields here */ } And here is the AdminCredentials class, for which the constraints are ignored. @Entity( name = "admin.Credentials" ) @Table( name = "admin_credentials" , schema = "admin" ) public class AdminCredentials extends ModelBase { private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L; /** Credentials linked with an administrative account */ @OneToOne( optional = false ) @JoinColumn( name = "credentials_id" , referencedColumnName = "id" , nullable = false , updatable = false ) public Credentials credentials; /* Some more fields here */ } The code that attempts to delete the Credentials instances is: try { if ( account.validationKey != null ) { this.hTemplate.delete( account.validationKey ); } this.hTemplate.delete( account.languageSetting ); this.hTemplate.delete( account ); } catch ( DataIntegrityViolationException e ) { return false; } Where hTemplate is a HibernateTemplate instance provided by Spring, its flush mode having been set to EAGER. In the conditions shown above, the deletion will fail if there is an Account instance that refers to the Credentials instance being deleted, which is the expected behaviour. However, an AdminCredentials instance will be ignored, the deletion will succeed, leaving an invalid AdminCredentials instance behind (trying to refresh that instance causes an error because the Credentials instance no longer exists). I have tried moving the AdminCredentials table from the admin DB schema to the users DB schema. Strangely enough, a deletion-related error is then triggered, but not in the deletion code - it is triggered at the next query involving the table, seemingly ignoring the flush mode setting. I've been trying to understand this for hours and I must admit I'm just as clueless now as I was then.

  • JButton Image Ignoring GridBagConstraints

    - by daemor
    I am working on an application and have a screen that needs to have elements (namely some custom JButtons) appear and disappear based on a user selection. However for some reason, when I add these buttons to their pane, the buttton image goes to the top corner, and leaves the text in the center, completely ignoring GridBagConstraints. I am completely stumped on this one as I have done this same exact thing dozens of times earlier in the program without any issues. Here is an image of the problem: The problem is in this method here, and occurs down towards the bottom. public void init(){ contentPane.removeAll(); // Setup jlabels JLabel countyLabel = new JLabel("County"); countyLabel.setFont(new Font("Times New Roman", Font.PLAIN, 18)); JLabel measureByLabel = new JLabel("Measure By: "); measureByLabel.setFont(new Font("Times New Roman", Font.PLAIN, 18)); String[] countyChoices = {"Washtenaw", "Oakland", "Livingston"}; // setup components JComboBox<String> countyCombo = new JComboBox<String>(countyChoices); // place baseComponents c.weightx = 0.5; c.weighty = 0.5; c.gridx = 0; c.gridy = 0; c.anchor = GridBagConstraints.NORTH; contentPane.add(countyLabel, c); c.gridx = 2; contentPane.add(countyCombo, c); c.gridy = 1; c.gridx = 0; contentPane.add(trenchButton, c); c.gridx = 2; contentPane.add(bedButton, c); c.gridy = 2; c.gridx = 1; contentPane.add(systemSelection, c); c.gridy = 3; c.gridx = 0; contentPane.add(lengthButton, c); c.fill = GridBagConstraints.BOTH; c.gridwidth = 4; c.gridy = 4; c.gridx = 0; contentPane.add(choicePane, c); GridBagConstraints con = new GridBagConstraints(); con.weightx = 0.5; con.weighty = 0.5; con.gridx = 0; con.gridy = 0; choicePane.add(lengthButton, c); // revalidate and repaint choicePane.revalidate(); choicePane.repaint(); contentPane.revalidate(); contentPane.repaint(); } I have tried doing this in separate methods, the button looks fine when added to the contentPane, the pane is for sure set to gridbagconstraints as I used the expression JPanel choicePane = new JPanel(new GridBagLayout()) to initialize it.

  • HTML table ignoring element-style width

    - by sangil
    HTML table ignoring element-style width I have an HTML table where certain cells have very long text contents. I want to specify a width (in pixels) for these cells using jQuery, but the rendered table just ignores the given width. Is there any way to force the table to respect this width? Thanks! JSFiddle: http://jsfiddle.net/sangil/6hejy/35/ (If you inspect the cell you can see the the computed width is different than the element-style width) HTML: <div id="tblcont" class="tblcont"> <table id="pivot_table"> <tbody> <tr> <th id="h0" >product</th> <th id="h1" >price</th> <th id="h2" >change</th> </tr> <tr> <!-- this is the cell causing trouble --> <td id="c00" >Acer 2400 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa</td> <td id="c01" >3212</td> <td id="c02" >219</td> </tr> <tr> <td id="c10" >Acer</td> <td id="c11" >3821</td> <td id="c12" >206</td> </tr> </tbody> </table> </div> CSS: .tblcont { overflow: hidden; width: 500px; } table { table-layout: fixed; border-collapse: collapse; overflow-x: scroll; border-spacing:0; width: 100%; } th, td { overflow: hidden; text-overflow: ellipsis; word-wrap: break-word; } th { height: 50px; } ?Javascript: $(document).ready(function() { // THIS LINE HAS NO EFFECT! $('#c00').width(30); });

  • WPF Ignoring ProgressBar Style

    - by Nidonocu
Following a problem in WPF 4 where the default ProgressBar template has an off-white highlight applied causing it to dull the foreground colour, I decided to extract the template and manually edit the values to white. After doing this, I put the template as a style in App.xaml for global use and the Visual Studio designer began to use it right away. However, when I run my app, the default style is still being applied: I then tried setting the style specifically using a key, then even having it as an inline style and finally as a inline template without a wrapping style for the specific progress bar and it is still ignored. What's going wrong? Current Code for progress bar: <ProgressBar Grid.Column="1" Grid.Row="2" Height="15" Width="355" Margin="0,0,0,7" IsIndeterminate="{Binding ProgressState, FallbackValue=False}" Visibility="{Binding ProgressVisibility, FallbackValue=Collapsed}" Value="{Binding ProgressValue, Mode=OneWay, FallbackValue=100}" Foreground="{Binding ProgressColor,FallbackValue=Red}"> <ProgressBar.Template> <ControlTemplate> <Grid Name="TemplateRoot" SnapsToDevicePixels="True"> <Rectangle RadiusX="2" RadiusY="2" Fill="{TemplateBinding Panel. Background}" /> ...

  • UIWebView is ignoring cookies?!

    - by A. Miladinovic
Hello everybody, I am creating an app for the iPhone that fetches a specific page from a website, but to be able to view this site you need to log in with a username and a password. I've created this code: NSString *urlAddress = @"http://www.wdg-hamburg.de"; NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:urlAddress]; NSString *post = @"name=loginname&pass=pass&form_id=user_login&op=Anmelden"; NSData *postData = [post dataUsingEncoding:NSASCIIStringEncoding]; NSString *postLength = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%d", [postData length]]; NSMutableURLRequest *request = [NSMutableURLRequest requestWithURL:url]; [request setHTTPMethod: @"POST"]; [request setValue:postLength forHTTPHeaderField:@"Content-Length"]; [request setValue:@"application/x-www-form-urlencoded" forHTTPHeaderField:@"Content-Type"]; [request setHTTPBody:postData]; [vPlan loadRequest:request]; But I am not logged in at the UIWebView! I am logging NSHTTPCookieStorage to the console and it shows me the necessary cookie, but I dont get logged in. Does anybody knows how I can fix that? Kind regards, A. Miladinovic
