  • Static Javascript files not loaded in Express app

    I have an express app that has a bunch of static javascript files that aren't being loaded even though they are registered in my app.js file. Even public scripts (like jQuery: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.3/jquery.min.js) aren't processing. I can see the script tags in the generated html, but none of the functionality runs and I can't see the files loading in the web inspector.   • How do i open Google Maps for directions using coordinates on the iphone

    I am using UIMapView to display locations on the iPhone. I want to do a directions from current location to the location of interest, I don't think its possible using MapKit (but if it is please inform) So I will open either the Google Maps application or safari to display it. Can i do this by specifying co-ordinates from (current location) to co-ordinates (the location of interest) I have these longitudes and latitudes. Or do i have to use street addresses? If I do have to use street addresses, can i get them from the latitude and longitude.

  • iPhone Simulating App Update at home before going out in the big bad world

    this is a follow on from this question and the link given it seems that when an app is updated all of the files in the documents directory are copied into the updated apps documents directory and also anything in Library/Preferences. Whats the best way to simulate this for testing purposes? Just copy the files in ApplicationSupport/iPhone Simulator etc? or has anyone developped any funky techniques for testing this.

  • UITableViewCell: Allowing Selective Deletion

    I have a table view and want to allow rearranging of all cells, however there are certain cells that i do not want to be allowed to be deleted. when the UiTableView is put into deletion mode i do not want the red '-' button to appear on the left hand side, and do not want the swipe gesture to bring up the Delete button of these cells but want it to happen for the others. Any ideas?

  • Using layout view in Express with Consolidate and Mustache

    I just started going through Node using Express and finally got Consolidate JS working properly to use Mustache as the templating view system per the instructions on the Consolidate JS Github page. Mustache is loading properly, but I'm now wondering how to include the layout file along in the rendering of the template. The default Jade system loads the content of the .render method inside of the layout.jade file. I'm just wondering how to do the same, but with Mustache. Any help is greatly appreciated!   • Are there any Acrobat plugins or standalone programs that allow one to select and extract individual

    We use BCL Jade currently but are running into problems because it isn't supported or sold anymore, doesn't work on Acrobat 8 or 9, and has some other issues. Other than that though it works great! :) Is there anything like it that allows users to select zones to extract? I see a simaler question on here and and an answer that suggests this http://pdftohtml.sourceforge.net/ but ideally we would want something nonprogrammers could use.

  • Android/Java AI agent framework/middleware

    I am looking for an AI agent framework to use as a starting point in an Android game I have to create for a university research project. It has been suggested to me to use JADE, but, as far as I can tell, it's not a suitable framework for games (at least for my game idea) because it runs in a split-execution mode, and it needs an always-active network connection to a main host. What I want is just a little something to give me a headstart. I am willing to adjust the game's features to the framework because it's more of a mockup game, and the purpose is to compare the performance of a couple of agents in the game world. The game will be very simplistic, with a minimal UI that displays various stats about the characters in the game (so no graphics, no pathfinding). Thank you.

  • Should a complete newbie use mongoose js? [on hold]

    I drank from the koolaid and jumped aboard the node.js bandwagon even though I barely know javascript. That said, I have the opportunity to work with one of 2 templates. One is just node, express and mongodb, and the second includes mongoose and jade with the other 3 and is easier for me to understand. Yet I'm concerned that if I begin with mongoose, I'll be too high level and miss some of the fundamentals. Is my concern warranted? Should I work my way up or should I just start playing with all the toys from day one?

  • Form data sent to Node via Post is undefined

    I know this has been asked countless times on here, however I tried all the solutions and am still having the issue. Most people say to set the content-type (which I did) and to name the inputs that I wish to Post to node. I have done both of these things, yet still get "undefined" when trying to send data from an HTML form to node.
