  • Modx: How to create a contact form with a dropdown of offices to cc the email to?

    In the contact us template I want to have a dropdown with the list of offices (All offices articles are places under the same parent node, so getting the list should be fairly easy). I need a way to add the office email address (Template variable from the Office article) to the email generated by Modx's eForm. I don't want the email address to be visible in the contact us form, but a snippet fetching the article Template variable email address. I also want a link from each offices article to the contact us form with the office preselected in the dropdown. How should I implement this?

  • Internal Server Error when using eForm with ModX

    One of our clients is using modx v.0.9.6.3 with eForm. They also have their own exchange server and web hosting is done through us. We used the eForm v.1.4.4.5 to send out emails. However, they cannot get any emails from this form and when addressed to [email protected] it instantly gets to 500 Internal Server Error when the form is submitted. Note: the eForm is successfully sent when the receiver is anyone but the client. I have successfully received the email form report from a work email, and also personal email.

  • Cant access folder on server- Permission denied

    I am running a vps with ubuntu 11.04. After a clean Modx install I've tried to access http://www.encepence.pl/manager and I've got a permission denied by my server. the thing is that I can easily access any other folder under that domain and modify this folder(manager) content via ftp.   • How do I use Compiz on Linux to achieve what WinSplit revolution does on Windows?

    Hi there, I've used WinSplit Revolution for quite some time on Windows and have become attached to it. I'm now trying out a Linux OS (Ubuntu 10.04) and would really like to get the same functionality back again. After searching on the net I found a "grid" plugin (http://wiki.compiz.org/Plugins/Grid) for compiz which says that it was inspired by WinSplit revolution. I haven't installed the Grid plugin yet, because under the install section on that page, it says "Note that grid is now included in compiz so you're unlikely to need to fetch from git unless you've an old version of compiz", which would seem to suggest that the grid functionality has now been built into compiz somewhere. The thing is, I don't know where to find it in the CompizConfig Settings Manager nor how to set it up. All I want to have happen is that I get identical functionality to WinSplit revolution, where I press Ctrl + Alt + [some numpad key] to position a window on a screen and press Ctrl + Alt + [left or right arrow] to shift a window between dual screens.

    Just a quick note… If you’re managing WordPress installations, and haven’t heard about the recent WordPress hacks (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/307660) yet you probably just got back from holiday. There’s plenty of advice on fixing a hacked installation if you follow some of the links in the above post, so I’m not going to recite that here. However! While cleaning a WordPress installation that resides in a subdirectory of a modx cms I found that the modx index.php files were also infected. I searched for infected files using grep as follows: grep -R 'function gpc_' * If you’re on a shared hosting environment that doesn’t allow shell access: time to change your hosting provider.     I have 2 mice: Logitech MX Revolution and Razer DeathAdder. I use my mx revolution for browsing internet (I set up a lot of hotkeys on all my buttons to make browsing really convenient) and the deathadder for gaming (the mouse is a lot more accurate and smooth). The problem is that by having two mice, setpoint randomly forgets its settings once in a while (I'm assuming due to getting confused why theres two input devices), and I constantly have to restart setpoint (every few minutes) to get it to rerecognize that the

  • Expanding your home directory size

    I would like to copy or expand my /home directory ... All tutorials talks about moving the home directory from a partition to another but the problem that I only have one partition that was more than 300 gigs (before I resize it and create a new partition) although I see 30 Gigs only on my home directory (4 Gigs left :( ) I resized it and created a new partition as you can see in the next image I've tried booting from Ubuntu live CD and from a USB and what I can see in Gparted is exactly as in the picture below I would like to move my home directory to the new partition of expand it. We actually demoed it running first at the Embedded Show in Germany this March. JPAC is based on a Marvell 88F6282 Kirkwood ARM SOC, we partnered with Hilsher from just outside Frankfurt, Germany for the mini pci ProfiBus controllers, Revolution Robotics from Corvallis, Oregon wrote the Java SE Embedded for ARM to Hilscher Linux driver interface. Revolution Robotics also designed the HTML5 application that runs on a Marvell ARM tablet to actually send and receive commands via ProfiBus to a slave device.
