• cross domain gwt ?

  is there a way to run gwt on a proxy loaded web page ? ex) using proxy script on myexamplesite.com that loads finance.google.com, and running GWT on the newly loaded page. I've been doing the above before I found about GWT, using LAMP stack + Jquery (UI), which quickly turned out to be crap and inefficient. All this trouble to bypass browser's default Single Origin Policy. So, right now, is it possible to overcome this problem with GWT ? Is it possible to some how, run javascript on a html page from finance.google.com loaded into myexamplesite.com's frame with GWT or other solution? I am not looking to do JSON or RSS related topics. What I need is high lighted in bold. Is GWT + Gears what I should be using ? Thank you.

• I am using jquery ajax using text() but any html written in the XML doesn't render?

  So I have Jquery Ajax working real nice, but an issue I am having is in my XML if I want to bold a work or Italicize a sentence, if I do it in the XML using HTML tags it will not show up. I am pretty sure it is due to using the .text().   Is there any way to 'evaluate' PS1, PS2, etc from within a bash script? Although, I can use alternate means to get all elements of my current PS1, I would really like to be able to reuse its definition instead of using these alternate means.   Hi guys, Need a guide line .... I am trying to write a personal blog. What is the standard structure for for input for the post. I am trying the format like: This is the simple text And I am [b] bold text[/b].   Currently I am using 26 Textview so that I can apply style to particular character depending on runtime situation. But if I can able to apply style on particular character in textview I can achieve my goal using only one textview. e.g. If I want to make character 'M' red in following code.   I have a table with one column " otname " table1.otname contains multiple rows of alpha-numeric string resembling the following data sample: 11.10.32.12.U.A.F.3.2.21.249.1 2001.1.1003.8281.A.LE.P.P 2010.1.1003.8261.A.LE.B.B I want to read the fourth number in every string ( part of the string in bold ) and write a query in Oracle 10g to read its description stored in another table.   I'm about to change my application to include tool tips for all buttons, combo boxes, etc. I was wondering if there are any recommendations on doing this. For every control I'd like the tooltip to show the control's name in bold, followed by the description. I want to keep the style separated from the control, so I can change the tooltip style globally. What I would like to have, unless there's a better suggestion, is two additional fields per button/combobox/etc: 1-ToolTipName and 2-ToolTipDesc, both containing a string. How can I accomplish this (and is it even possible?).

  Do, custom fonts work in UITextView ? I loaded UITextView *textView in cocos2d layer. And I trying to set the font of the text as Copperplate Gothic Bold. I downloaded the font file Coprgtb.TTF. But, the text is not adjusting to this font. The system fonts are working, but the custom fonts are not working ? I added the font file in resources folder. what can I do to make them work ?   I have a listview called quotesList, and I am trying to use an adapter to put information in it. The bold represents where the red squiggly is. Syntax error on token "adapter", VariableDeclaratorId expected after this token The period after listView gives an error as well, but I'm pretty sure its just related to the other error, as its a syntax error. Syntax error on token(s), misplaced construct(s) Thanks in advance!

• css override not working?

  I have three tabs that change styles when clicked. class="active" gives the tab the same background as the tab content, while class="inactive" has another color. My problem is the text on the tabs, something's weird with the CSS. The default state of class="active" looks as it should, while the inactive tabs are underlined even though my CSS says text-decoration: none !important; and the clicked active tab text becomes extra bold (or maybe it's a shadow). Am i missing something? What is reusing in this context? Using the Session ID as an identifier in database or etc is reusing or what? Therefore, you can reuse session IDs for several reasons. • How can I reference only a portion of a TextArea's htmlText block?

  I have a number of very poor-quality pdf documents that look like 80's photocopies, which I'm rebuilding in Flash (Flex Builder 3 MXML application), representing paragraphs of text in TextAreas so that selected portions can be bold or italic, or whatever I need. I need a way to apply toolTips or event listeners to individual words within the block of text to link those words to a glossary. I'm perfectly happy to create a definition panel that is populated and made visible with a mouseOver, but don't know how to do it to just a portion of the text. Is there a good / clean / easy way to do this?

  Hey all, I posted a similar topic for RoR, but didn't know how to edit my tags, so I'm making a new one for C#... I'm looking for a HTML editor which can be integrated in a C# app that has the possibility to create forms. Not forms per se, but I need the possibility to add radiobuttons, input fields, checkboxes and so on.
