    I have created a simple propertySheet(CPropertySheet) and a couple of CPropertyPage derived classes. While running the application, the ProperySheet, Page and tabs are appeared in white color. I was expecting them to be like normal widow dialog color. Any clue to make the property sheet, pages background to be like other normal MFC dialogs appears? I use Visual Studio 2008 MFC without .NET CLR.

    I have an excel sheet that contains two rectangles and text in other cells. I need to allow users to only edit the text in the rectangle. They should not be able to change the size of the object. Applying lock on the rectangle locks the object as well as the text. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

    Hi, Is there a plugin or feature in jQuery that enables the dynamic loading of stylesheets from different origins similar to $.getJSON() or $.getScript()? I am able to dynamically integrate a style sheet from the same origin, but I need to be able to dynamically inject a jQuery UI theme from a different origin into a page. I guess I can load the CSS file as JSON data and then apply the contents using $().css(); however, I was looking for a more elegant solution. Thanks

    My sticky footer works great in all the browsers expect Safari & Chrome, particularly the work.html page itself. http://obliqueinteractive.com/creative/work.html I noticed when i delete this css attribute from my style sheet, the problem goes away but doesn't allow for the footer to stick anymore html, body {height: 100%;} Could there be other css issues that are forcing the footer to act this way?

  • Is there a list of common object that implement IDisposable for the using statement?

    I was wondering if there was some sort of cheat sheet for which objects go well with the using statement... SQLConnection, MemoryStream, etc. Taking it one step further, it would be great to even show the other "pieces of the puzzle", like how you should actually call connection.Close() before the closing using statement bracket. Anything like that exist? If not, maybe we should make one.

  • QTableWidget: How can I get tighter lines with less vertical spacing padding?

    The QTableWdiget is fabulous for simple grid displays. Changing colors, fonts, etc is straightforward. However, I did not manage to give the grid a 'tighter' look with less vertical whitespace. I see that the Qt documentation talks (eg here) about margin border padding around widgets, but when I set these I only get changes around the entire grid widget rather than inside. How can I set this (with a style sheet, or hard-coded options) directly to make the QTableWidget display tighter?

I want to sort all the columns based on a specified column and allot a serial number as per the sorted order.     I use a sheet with 3 NSTextFields and a Cancel- and OK-Button to edit the attributes of a Core Data Entity. The text entered in the NSTextFields is only updated in the Core Data Entity if i press Tab or Return after writing in the NSTextField or if i focus another NSTextField with the mouse. If i just enter text in an NSTextField and press the OK-Button the entered text is lost. Is there some attribute i can set in Interface Builder to change this NSTextField behaviour?

    Hi I have a Date value like 01/01/2010 14:30:00 in a cell in Excel sheet. I want to convert that Date to Text and also want the Text to look exactly like Date.     When I'm working on a web page layout, I often use Firefox and Firebug to tweak the CSS until it looks right, then modify my style sheet to match. Right now, I'm trying to fix something that looks fine in other browsers but wrong in Google Chrome. I have pulled up Chrome's Developer Tools, and can inspect the computed style, but don't see a way to edit values and see the results on my page. Is there a way to do this?
