    I want to wrap a existing msi installer file into NSIS installer executable. Because there is not any option to change the icon of the msi file. I just want to customize the icon of the output setup.exe. Along with this I would also want to make sure that NSIS does not add any extra user interface into my installer.     When I create an NSObject subclass, I always get an empty implementation. There are some things I always put in my code like pragma marks and -dealloc methods. I prefer to just delete stuff that I don't need over writing it with typos from scratch every time I need it. I need -dealloc and -init almost always, but they don't ship with the default template. Is there a way to customize what's in there?

    im going to create a new web application that is very customized. it will contain images, that are fully searchable - in a very, very customized way. when you click on the pictures you can add comments and so on. it requires users to be registered, but the registration/login process will be highly customized too. at the moment im using CodeIgniter for this. But i've read a lot of posts about CMS like Drupal and it sounds like i could let it handle basic stuff, maybe design and other front end work. i have no experience with CMS, in fact, i just started to use a MVC framework like CI and was impressed of how much easier it gets to start developing. so i wonder, if i'm going to create this kind of application, could i use drupal and then add the usual stuff, as i was going to do with CodeIgniter, like controllers, views, models, config files, my own libraries and so on? how does it work on a system like Drupal. how do you code PHP with it as with any MVC framework. it sounds like it has a lot of modules, i just wonder, if i can use it as a MVC framework but have the benefit of having all these basic stuff and design ready to use? cause then it sounds like the best "library" to provide for a web application from scratch. or is it difficult to create a customized app with it? i guess it has modules like images and users, but then how could i customize these so that every image has tags on it and country information, or have every user subscribing to changes to an image, that email will be sent to users and so on? cause i guess its easy to install a module. the question is, how do i customize it. maybe i don't need all that table columns. maybe i want to add/remove business logic. what are the pros and cons with using Drupal for this? is it even the right way to go? can you make a Stackoverflow with Drupal? Facebook? Twitter? Youtube? assuming that you know php of course. share your thoughts cause im totally new on creating a web application! thanks

    After learning good amount of c++, i'm now into STL containers and algorithms template library, my major concerns are, 1) Is this library same across different platforms like MS, linux n other os? 2) will quality or efficiency of program c++ module decrease with more use of STL containers and algorithms, i think i can't customize it to all needs. 3) Is this template library good to use in linux system programming, kernel modules? 4) lastly can i use this in programming contests, because it relives a lot of coding and pressure off shoulders.

    Hello emacs gurus, I'm out of ideas here - my emacs crashes when popup dialog is opened. The x-popup-dialog function is probably to blame but I found no workaround to this. My Emacs version is 23.1.1 . Unfortunately some functionality of emacs calls this (e.x. customize asks whether it should save the changes) which causes the crash. Does anybody know how to fix it or disable it?

But Liferay is still checking whether the same user email id is configured in the liferay db or not. If its not, it is saying that authetication failed. I do not want to keep any user information in the liferay db. Do any one know how to do that? Regards Vishal G

    In C++ we can enter multiple lines by giving our own choice of delimiting character in the getline() function.. however I am not able to do the same in Python!! it has only raw_input() and sys.stdin.readline() methods that read till I press enter. Is there any way to customize this so that I can specify my own delimiter?

    Hello, When I add new event handler for any event, VS creates method like Button_Click. But ReSharper underlines this method as Warning, because all methods should not have any delimeters such as "_". How can I customize rules of ReSharper so that it doesn't underline such methods?     Guys, I want to customize the look of a TextBlock. (I want a rounded rectangle border around it). But I'd like to be able to set it's template via the app.xaml But I see that TextBlock doesn't have a Template property. I'd use Label (which does have a Template property) but I guess silverlight doesn't support a Label control. So what can I use to do this? Thanks in advance.
