My biggest problem is reading the MIDI data in from a file, and I'd like to avoid writing all the import code. I have all the data from the web service but I do not know how to integrate the tracks into Android database. My idea is not to have to download the files, but playing them on streaming using the music player. Do I need to download the tracks to the sd card and then Android does all the stuff?     Is there a way to embed multiple dependent assemblies into a single one for projects written on the following platform types: Windows Store Apps, Windows Phone 8, Portable Class Library? I know that for regular .Net projects there is ILMerge, but on the aforementioned project types it doesn't work. Embedding assemblies as resources and then manually resolving the references using AppDomain.CurrentDomain.AssemblyResolve is not possible either, since AppDomain is not available in these types of project.

  • Enterprise Library logging into database is very slow

    I'm using enterprise library for logging web page events. Because page is load balanced I have to store logs in database on different server (requirement). Sadly, I found storing around 20 entries per page request is very slow (adds additional ~10s). Can anybody explain why this happens and how to fix it. P.S. I'm using default pooling settings in logging database connection string.

    i am trying to use viewpager from android support library v4 in intelli j currently i have android sdk 4.1 I copied android-support-v4.jar to my intellij android project under 'libs' in the project settings of intellij I webt to "Modules" = "MyModuleName" = dependencies tab, and add the android-support-v4.jar, by navigating the path to the libs/ folder under my own project I checked the 'export' besides this newly added jar file but i still can't use viewpager in my application i get a crash msg like java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.xxxx/com.xxxx.MyActivity}: android.view.InflateException: Binary XML file line #13: Error inflating class android.support.v4.view.ViewPager

  • Reflect.Emit Dynamic Type Memory Blowup

    Using C# 3.5 I am trying to generate dynamic types at runtime using reflection emit. I used the Dynamic Query Library sample from Microsoft to create a class generator. Everything works, my problem is that 100 generated types inflate the memory usage by approximately 25MB. This is a completely unacceptable memory profile as eventually I want to support having several hundred thousand types generated in memory. Memory profiling shows that the memory is apparently being held by various System.Reflection.Emit types and methods though I can't figure out why. I haven't found others talking about this problem so I am hoping someone in this community either knows what I am doing wrong or if this is expected behavior.   • Basic HTML Internal Link not working in IE8

    This one has me scratching my head. I have a page with several internal links bringing the user down the page to further content. Beneath various sections there are further internal links bringing the user back to the top. This works fine in all browsers apart from IE8 (actual IE8 - not IE9 in IE8 mode) where they work go down, but not coming back up! Examples: <a href="page.php?v=35&amp;u=admin-videos#a">A &ndash; General</a> .... //travelling DOWN the page <h3><strong>A &ndash; General<a name="a"></a></strong></h3> <a name="top"></a> .... //travelling back up <a href="page.php?v=35&amp;u=admin-videos#top">Back to top.</a> I've tried filling the 'top' anchor with &nbsp; but that hasn't changed it.
