  • Why pseudo-elements :before and :after appear in front of my DIV element and not behind?

    - by Dim13i
    I have a DIV element with this given class: .slideshow { background: white; width: 700px; height: 300px; padding:10px; margin: 0 auto; position: relative; box-shadow: 0px 0px 5px grey, 0px 10px 20px rgba(0,0,0,.1) inset; } I define those two pseudo-elements (:before and :after): .slideshow:before, .slideshow:after { content: " "; background: green; width: 50%; height: 50%; position: absolute; z-index: -10; } My problem is that those two pseudo-elements appear in front of my DIV and not behind. Is there any specific reason for this behaviour? Here is an example: EXAMPLE The Javascript part is a bit messy but i'm still working on it. Also I've noticed that if I delete all the JS part I don't have anymore this problem, but I don't think there is anything in the code that should modify the slideshow DIV SOLVED: The problem is in the javascript part where I have: $('.slideshow').css('-webkit-transform', 'rotate(0deg)'); Removing this line solved the problem. I guess that pseudo-elements :before and :after are not compatible with the property transform.

  • How to zoom IFRAME content only without using a frame set?

    - by Baskaran
    I need to zoom frame content only. Here in my web page I used zoom: 0.75; height: 520px; width: 800px;. If I increase the zoom value it means that the frame size will be increased. <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE> New Document </TITLE> <STYLE> #frame { width: 800px; height: 520px; border: 1px solid black; } #frame { zoom: 0.75; -moz-transform: scale(0.75); -moz-transform-origin: 0 0; } </STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <IFRAME id="frame" src="http://www.google.com"></IFRAME> </BODY> </HTML> In the above sample HTML page I want to zoom the content of the IFRAME without changing the size of that IFRAME.

  • When using Direct3D, how much math is being done on the CPU?

    - by zirgen
    Context: I'm just starting out. I'm not even touching the Direct3D 11 API, and instead looking at understanding the pipeline, etc. From looking at documentation and information floating around the web, it seems like some calculations are being handled by the application. That, is, instead of simply presenting matrices to multiply to the GPU, the calculations are being done by a math library that operates on the CPU. I don't have any particular resources to point to, although I guess I can point to the XNA Math Library or the samples shipped in the February DX SDK. When you see code like mViewProj = mView * mProj;, that projection is being calculated on the CPU. Or am I wrong? If you were writing a program, where you can have 10 cubes on the screen, where you can move or rotate cubes, as well as viewpoint, what calculations would you do on the CPU? I think I would store the geometry for the a single cube, and then transform matrices representing the actual instances. And then it seems I would use the XNA math library, or another of my choosing, to transform each cube in model space. Then get the coordinates in world space. Then push the information to the GPU. That's quite a bit of calculation on the CPU. Am I wrong? Am I reaching conclusions based on too little information and understanding? What terms should I Google for, if the answer is STFW? Or if I am right, why aren't these calculations being pushed to the GPU as well?

  • lists searches in SYB or uniplate haskell

    - by Chris
    I have been using uniplate and SYB and I am trying to transform a list For instance type Tree = [DataA] data DataA = DataA1 [DataB] | DataA2 String | DataA3 String [DataA] deriving Show data DataB = DataB1 [DataA] | DataB2 String | DataB3 String [DataB] deriving Show For instance, I would like to traverse my tree and append a value to all [DataB] So my first thought was to do this: changeDataB:: Tree -> Tree changeDataB = everywhere(mkT changeDataB') chanegDataB'::[DataB] -> [DataB] changeDataB' <add changes here> or if I was using uniplate changeDataB:: Tree -> Tree changeDataB = transformBi changeDataB' chanegDataB'::[DataB] -> [DataB] changeDataB' <add changes here> The problem is that I only want to search on the full list. Doing either of these searches will cause a search on the full list and all of the sub-lists (including the empty list) The other problem is that a value in [DataB] may generate a [DataB], so I don't know if this is the same kind of solution as not searching chars in a string. I could pattern match on DataA1 and DataB3, but in my real application there are a bunch of [DataB]. Pattern matching on the parents would be extensive. The other thought that I had was to create a data DataBs = [DataB] and use that to transform on. That seems kind of lame, there must be a better solution.

  • XSLT: change node inner text.

    - by nabo
    I need to transform the following xml doc: <a> <b/> <c/> myText </a> into this: <a> <b/> <c/> differentText </a> So, i wrote this XSLT document <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0"> <xsl:output method="xml" version="1.0" omit-xml-declaration="no" /> <xsl:template match="/a/text()"> <a> <b/> <c/> differentText </a> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet> This way, i get the following result: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <a> <b /><c /> differentText </a> <a> <b /><c /> differentText </a> <a> <b /><c /> differentText </a> The result appears repeated 3 times because 3 matches are being done.. Why? I could i fix it? Thanks

  • Building a structure/object in a place other than the constructor

    - by Vishal Naidu
    I have different types of objects representing the same business entity. UIObject, PowershellObject, DevCodeModelObject, WMIObject all are different representation to the same entity. So say if the entity is Animal then I have AnimalUIObject, AnimalPSObject, AnimalModelObject, AnimalWMIObject, etc. Now the implementations of AnimalUIObject, AnimalPSObject, AnimalModelObject are all in separate assemblies. Now my scenario is I want to verify the contents of business entity Animal irrespective of the assembly it came from. So I created a GenericAnimal class to represent the Animal entity. Now in GenericAnimal I added the following constructors: GenericAnimal(AnimalUIObject) GenericAnimal(AnimalPSObject) GenericAnimal(AnimalModelObject) Basically I made GenericAnimal depend on all the underlying assemblies so that while verifying I deal with this abstraction. Now the other approach to do this is have GenericAnimal with an empty constructor an allow these underlying assemblies to have a Transform() method which would build the GenericAnimal. Both approaches have some pros and cons: The 1st approach: Pros: All construction logic is in one place in one class GenericAnimal Cons: GenericAnimal class must be touched every-time there is a new representation form. The 2nd approach: Pros: construction responsibility is delegated to the underlying assembly. Cons: As construction logic is spread accross assemblies, tomorrow if I need to add a property X in GenericAnimal then I have to touch all the assemblies to change the Transform method. Which approach looks better ? or Which would you consider a lesser evil ? Is there any alternative way better than the above two ?

  • Copy subset of xml input using xslt

    - by mdfaraz
    I need an XSLT file to transform input xml to another with a subset of nodes in the input xml. For ex, if input has 10 nodes, I need to create output with about 5 nodes Input <Department diffgr:id="Department1" msdata:rowOrder="0"> <Department>10</Department> <DepartmentDescription>BABY PRODUCTS</DepartmentDescription> <DepartmentSeq>7</DepartmentSeq> <InsertDateTime>2011-09-29T13:19:28.817-05:00</InsertDateTime> </Department> Output: <Department diffgr:id="Department1" msdata:rowOrder="0"> <Department>10</Department> <DepartmentDescription>BABY PRODUCTS</DepartmentDescription> </Department> I found one way to suppress nodes that we dont need XSLT: <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:output omit-xml-declaration="yes"/> <xsl:template match="node()|@*"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="node()|@*"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="Department/DepartmentSeq"/> <xsl:template match="Department/InsertDateTime"/> </xsl:stylesheet> I need an xslt that helps me select the nodes I need and not "copy all and filter out what I dont need", since i may have to change my xslt whenever input schema adds more nodes.

  • Coding the R-ight way - avoiding the for loop

    - by mropa
    I am going through one of my .R files and by cleaning it up a little bit I am trying to get more familiar with writing the code the r-ight way. As a beginner, one of my favorite starting points is to get rid of the for() loops and try to transform the expression into a functional programming form. So here is the scenario: I am assembling a bunch of data.frames into a list for later usage. dataList <- list (dataA, dataB, dataC, dataD, dataE ) Now I like to take a look at each data.frame's column names and substitute certain character strings. Eg I like to substitute each "foo" and "bar" with "baz". At the moment I am getting the job done with a for() loop which looks a bit awkward. colnames(dataList[[1]]) [1] "foo" "code" "lp15" "bar" "lh15" colnames(dataList[[2]]) [1] "a" "code" "lp50" "ls50" "foo" matchVec <- c("foo", "bar") for (i in seq(dataList)) { for (j in seq(matchVec)) { colnames (dataList[[i]])[grep(pattern=matchVec[j], x=colnames (dataList[[i]]))] <- c("baz") } } Since I am working here with a list I thought about the lapply function. My attempts handling the job with the lapply function all seem to look alright but only at first sight. If I write f <- function(i, xList) { gsub(pattern=c("foo"), replacement=c("baz"), x=colnames(xList[[i]])) } lapply(seq(dataList), f, xList=dataList) the last line prints out almost what I am looking for. However, if i take another look at the actual names of the data.frames in dataList: lapply (dataList, colnames) I see that no changes have been made to the initial character strings. So how can I rewrite the for() loop and transform it into a functional programming form? And how do I substitute both strings, "foo" and "bar", in an efficient way? Since the gsub() function takes as its pattern argument only a character vector of length one.

  • AS3 colorTransform over multiple frames?

    - by user359519
    (Flash Professional, AS3) I'm working on a custom avatar system where you can select various festures and colors. For example, I have 10 hairstyles, and a colorPicker to change the color. mc_myAvatar has 10 frames. Each frame has a movieclip of a different hairstyle (HairStyle1, HairStyle2, etc.) Here's my code: var hairColor:ColorTransform; hairColor = mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer.transform.colorTransform; hairColor.color = 0xCCCC00; mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer.transform.colorTransform = hairColor; This correctly changes the initial color. I have a "nextHair" button to advance mc_myAvatar.hair to the next frame. When I click the button, I get an error message saying that I have a null object reference. I added a trace, and mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer is null on frame 2. Why??? I've clearly named HairStyle2 as "colorLayer" in frame 2. I think the problem is related to me using the same name for different classes/movieclips, but I don't know how to fix the problem... I added a square movieclip below my hairStyle movieclips, named the square "colorLevel", and deleted the name from my hairStyle clips. When I click the next button, the square correctly maintains the color from frame to frame. However, having a square doesn't do me much good. :( I tried converting the hairStyle layer to a mask. Doing this, however, results in yet another "null object" error - mc_myAvatar.hair.colorLayer is null after frame 1. I even tried "spanning" my colorLevel across all frames (no keyframes), thinking that this would give me just one movieclip to work with. No luck. Same error! What's going on, here? Why am I getting these null objects, when they are clearly defined in my movieclip? I'm also open to suggestions on a better way to do multiple frames and colors.

  • PHP cache header override

    - by Soyo
    I've been through over 100 answers here, lots to try, NOTHING working?? Have a PHP based site. I need caching OFF for all .php files EXCEPT A SELECT FEW. So, in .htaccess, I have the following: ExpiresActive On # Eliminate caching for certain dynamic files <FilesMatch "\.(php|cgi|pl)$"> ExpiresDefault A0 Header set Cache-Control "no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate, max-age=0, proxy-revalidate, no-transform" Header set Pragma "no-cache" </FilesMatch> Using Firebug, I see the following: Cache-Control no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate, max-age=0, proxy-revalidate, no-transform Connection Keep-Alive Content-Type text/html Date Sun, 02 Sep 2012 19:22:27 GMT Expires Sun, 02 Sep 2012 19:22:27 GMT Keep-Alive timeout=3, max=100 Pragma no-cache Server Apache Transfer-Encoding chunked X-Powered-By PHP/5.2.17 Hey, Looks great! BUT, I have a couple .php pages I need some very short caching on. I thought the simple answer was having this added to the very top of each php page in which I want caching enabled: <?php header("Cache-Control: max-age=360"); ?> Nope. Then I tried various versions of the above. Nope. Then I tried meta http-equiv variations. Nope. Then I tried variations of the .htaccess code along with the above variations, such as limiting it to: # Eliminate caching for certain dynamic files <FilesMatch "\.(php|cgi|pl)$"> Header set Cache-Control "no-cache, max-age=0" </FilesMatch> Nope. It seems nothing I do will allow a single .php to be cache enabled with the .htaccess code in place, short of removing the statements from the .htaccess file altogether. Where am I going wrong? What do I have to do to get individual php pages to be cacheable while the rest remain off?? Thank you for any thoughts.

  • Drawing straight lines in JavaScript

    - by Shawn31313
    I'm just trying to draw a line with JavaScript. I would like it to be like this: http://deepliquid.com/projects/blog/arrows2.html My version: http://jsfiddle.net/shawn31313/qsWML/5/show Doesn't work too well and I don't know how to get it too work. It must be an issue in my JavaScript. This my code: $(document).ready(function() { var dragStatus = 2, getPos, giveRandomID; $(document).mousedown(function(event) { dragStatus = 0; getPos = { top: event.clientY, left: event.clientX }; giveRandomID = Math.floor(Math.random() * 99999); }); $(document).mousemove(function() { var line = $('#line' + giveRandomID); if (dragStatus == 0) { $('body').append("<div id='line" + giveRandomID + "' style='position:absolute;top:" + getPos.top + "px;left:" + getPos.left + "px;background:black;width:2px;height:5px'></div>"); dragStatus = 1; } if (dragStatus == 1) { if (event.clientX > getPos.left) { line.css({ left: getPos.left, width: event.clientX - getPos.left }); } else { line.css({ left: event.clientX, width: getPos.left - event.clientX }); } if (event.clientY > getPos.top) { line.css({ top: getPos.top - Math.abs((event.clientY - getPos.top) * 2), '-webkit-transform': 'rotate(' + (event.clientY - getPos.top) + 'deg)' }); } else { line.css({ top: getPos.top + Math.abs((getPos.top - event.clientY) * 2), '-webkit-transform': 'rotate(' + (getPos.top - event.clientY) + 'deg)' }); } //for DEG "-" Top-Math.abs(DEG*2) for Deg "+" Top+(DEG*2) } }); $(document).mouseup(function() { dragStatus = 2; }); });? Thanks for any help fixing this. Mainly an issue with the math, just don't know how I can fix this.

The GIDS.Web track at Great Indian Developer Summit takes place 21 and 23 April 2010, at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. As one of the longest running independent developer conferences in India, GIDS.Web at the Great Indian Developer Summit 2010 is uniquely positioned to provide a blend of practical, pragmatic and immediately applicable knowledge and a glimpse of the future of technology. During 21 and 23 April 2010, GIDS.Web offers a multi-track conference, workshops, expo show floor, and networking opportunities. The first keynote at GIDS.Web is led by the leading Java EE and Ajax developer, speaker, and author Marty Hall. The best of India's Java and RIA programmers have learnt the subject from Marty's seminal books Core Servlets and JavaServer Pages (first and second editions), More Servlets and JavaServer Pages, and Core Web Programming (first and second editions) from Prentice Hall and Sun Microsystems Press. Marty's keynote address is a comparison of approaches to building rich Internet applications with Ajax. Marty says Ajax development is difficult, and there are several fundamentally different strategies to building Ajaxified Web applications. The keynote address will survey the three most important of these approaches: using an Ajax-enabled JavaScript library such as jQuery, Prototype, Scriptaculous, Dojo, or Ext/JS; using a Web framework such as JSF 2.0 or Struts 2 that has integrated Ajax support; using the Google Web Toolkit (GWT) to build "pure Java" Ajax applications. The talk will compare and contrast these three approaches, discussing the types of applications that fit best for each option. Over the course of the summit Marty will conduct several more sessions on "Choosing an Ajax/JavaScript Toolkit: A Comparison of the Most Popular JavaScript Libraries", "Pure Java Ajax: An Overview of GWT 2.0", "Integrated Ajax Support in JSF 2.0" and "Ajax Support in the Prototype JavaScript Library". The second keynote by the head of Adobe's Flash initiative in India, Ramesh Srinivasaraghavan, explores the state of art in web application development and identify trends that could transform the way we create and use web applications. The talk explains how the Adobe Flash Platform has fuelled this revolution with an integrated set of technologies for delivering the most compelling applications, content and video to the widest possible audience. • Java update/install via group policy

    - by Maximus
    I trying to deploy the latest Java RE version via GP, Java 7 update 9. I want to update computers that are currently running an older version of Java, a mixture of 7.6 and 7.7, some computers are running versions as old as 6.31. Some are running a mixture of both. I would also like this GP to install Java if it's not installed. Previously I used push out Java updates to users machines as Java didn't remove the old version. So when it was done the user would restart their browser or pc to start using the latest version. Not the best way to manage it as it leaves the old version installed but it worked. I've created group policies before for printer deployment, log on drive mapping scripts, but never software deployment. I've extracted the Java MSI and created a transform file to suppress reboot etc using orca. As described on this site http://ivan.dretvic.com/2011/06/how-to-package-and-deploy-java-jre-1-6-0_26-via-group-policy/. I have also tried saving the edited MSI directly and that didn't work either. But it just won't deploy. I have tried to enable logging as suggested on this site http://openofficetechnology.com/node/32, GPO logging via UserEnvDebugLevel, Software deployment logging via AppmgmtDebugLevel and MSI logging, but there is no log C:\Windows\Debug\UserMode\userenv.log being created. • IKE Phase 1 Aggressive Mode exchange does not complete

    - by Isaac Sutherland
    I've configured a 3G IP Gateway of mine to connect using IKE Phase 1 Aggressive Mode with PSK to my openswan installation running on Ubuntu server 12.04. I've configured openswan as follows: /etc/ipsec.conf: version 2.0 config setup nat_traversal=yes virtual_private=%v4:10.0.0.0/8,%v4:192.168.0.0/16,%v4:172.16.0.0/12 oe=off protostack=netkey conn net-to-net authby=secret left=192.168.0.11 [email protected] leftsubnet=10.1.0.0/16 leftsourceip=10.1.0.1 right=%any [email protected] rightsubnet=192.168.127.0/24 rightsourceip=192.168.127.254 aggrmode=yes ike=aes128-md5;modp1536 auto=add /etc/ipsec.secrets: @left.paxcoda.com @right.paxcoda.com: PSK "testpassword" Note that both left and right are NAT'd, with dynamic public IP's. My left ISP gives my router a public IP, but my right ISP gives me a shared dynamic public IP and dynamic private IP. I have dynamic dns for the public ip on the left side. Here is what I see when I sniff the ISAKMP protocol: 21:17:31.228715 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 235, id 43639, offset 0, flags [none], proto UDP (17), length 437) 74.198.87.93.49604 > 192.168.0.11.isakmp: [udp sum ok] isakmp 1.0 msgid 00000000 cookie da31a7896e2a1958->0000000000000000: phase 1 I agg: (sa: doi=ipsec situation=identity (p: #1 protoid=isakmp transform=1 (t: #1 id=ike (type=enc value=aes)(type=keylen value=0080)(type=hash value=md5)(type=auth value=preshared)(type=group desc value=modp1536)(type=lifetype value=sec)(type=lifeduration len=4 value=00015180)))) (ke: key len=192) (nonce: n len=16 data=(da31a7896e2a19582b33...0000001462b01880674b3739630ca7558cec8a89)) (id: idtype=FQDN protoid=0 port=0 len=17 right.paxcoda.com) (vid: len=16) (vid: len=16) (vid: len=16) (vid: len=16) 21:17:31.236720 IP (tos 0x0, ttl 64, id 0, offset 0, flags [DF], proto UDP (17), length 456) 192.168.0.11.isakmp > 74.198.87.93.49604: [bad udp cksum 0x649c -> 0xcd2f!] isakmp 1.0 msgid 00000000 cookie da31a7896e2a1958->5b9776d4ea8b61b7: phase 1 R agg: (sa: doi=ipsec situation=identity (p: #1 protoid=isakmp transform=1 (t: #1 id=ike (type=enc value=aes)(type=keylen value=0080)(type=hash value=md5)(type=auth value=preshared)(type=group desc value=modp1536)(type=lifetype value=sec)(type=lifeduration len=4 value=00015180)))) (ke: key len=192) (nonce: n len=16 data=(32ccefcb793afb368975...000000144a131c81070358455c5728f20e95452f)) (id: idtype=FQDN protoid=0 port=0 len=16 left.paxcoda.com) (hash: len=16) (vid: len=16) (pay20) (pay20) (vid: len=16) However, my 3G Gateway (on the right) doesn't respond, and I don't know why. I think left's response is indeed getting through to my gateway, because in another question, I was trying to set up a similar scenario with Main Mode IKE, and in that case it looks as though at least one of the three 2-way main mode exchanges succeeded. What other explanation for the failure is there? (The 3G Gateway I'm using on the right is a Moxa G3150, by the way.)

  • Merge functionality of two xsl files into a single file (not a xsl import or include issue)

    - by anuamb
    I have two xsl files; both of them perform different tasks on source xml one after another. Now I need a single xsl file which will actually perform both these tasks in single file (its not an issue of xsl import or xsl include): say my source xml is: <LIST_R7P1_1 <R7P1_1 <LVL2 <ORIG_EXP_PRE_CONV#+# <EXP_AFT_CONVabc <GUARANTEE_AMOUNT#+# <CREDIT_DER/ </LVL2 <LVL21 <AZ#+# <BZbz1 <AZaz2 <BZ#+# <CZ/ </LVL21 </R7P1_1 </LIST_R7P1_1 My first xsl (tr1.xsl) removes all nodes whose value is blank or null: <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"> <xsl:template match="@*|node()"> <xsl:if test=". != '' or ./@* != ''"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:if> <xsl:template </xsl:stylesheet The output here is <LIST_R7P1_1 <R7P1_1 <LVL2 <ORIG_EXP_PRE_CONV#+# <EXP_AFT_CONVabc <GUARANTEE_AMOUNT#+# </LVL2 <LVL21 <AZ#+# <BZbz1 <AZaz2 <BZ#+# </LVL21 </R7P1_1 </LIST_R7P1_1 And my second xsl (tr2.xsl) does a global replace (of #+# with text blank'') on the output of first xsl: <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0" <xsl:template name="globalReplace" <xsl:param name="outputString"/ <xsl:param name="target"/ <xsl:param name="replacement"/ <xsl:choose <xsl:when test="contains($outputString,$target)"> <xsl:value-of select= "concat(substring-before($outputString,$target), $replacement)"/> <xsl:call-template name="globalReplace"> <xsl:with-param name="outputString" select="substring-after($outputString,$target)"/> <xsl:with-param name="target" select="$target"/> <xsl:with-param name="replacement" select="$replacement"/> </xsl:call-template> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:value-of select="$outputString"/> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose </xsl:template <xsl:template match="text()" <xsl:template match="@*|*"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:template> </xsl:stylesheet So my final output is <LIST_R7P1_1 <R7P1_1 <LVL2 <ORIG_EXP_PRE_CONV <EXP_AFT_CONVabc <GUARANTEE_AMOUNT </LVL2 <LVL21 <AZ <BZbz1 <AZaz2 <BZ </LVL21 </R7P1_1 </LIST_R7P1_1 My concern is that instead of these two xsl (tr1.xsl and tr2.xsl) I only need a single xsl (tr.xsl) which gives me final output? Say when I combine these two as <xsl:stylesheet version="1.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" <xsl:template match="@*|node()" <xsl:if test=". != '' or ./@* != ''"> <xsl:copy> <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/> </xsl:copy> </xsl:if> <xsl:template name="globalReplace" <xsl:param name="outputString"/ <xsl:param name="target"/ <xsl:param name="replacement"/ <xsl:choose <xsl:when test="contains($outputString,$target)"> <xsl:value-of select= "concat(substring-before($outputString,$target), $replacement)"/> <xsl:call-template name="globalReplace"> <xsl:with-param name="outputString" select="substring-after($outputString,$target)"/> <xsl:with-param name="target" select="$target"/> <xsl:with-param name="replacement" select="$replacement"/> </xsl:call-template> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:value-of select="$outputString"/> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose </xsl:template <xsl:template match="text()" <xsl:call-template name="globalReplace" <xsl:with-param name="outputString" select="."/ <xsl:with-param name="target" select="'#+#'"/ <xsl:with-param name="replacement" select="''"/ </xsl:call-template </xsl:template <xsl:template match="@|" <xsl:copy <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/ </xsl:copy </xsl:template </xsl:stylesheet it outputs: <LIST_R7P1_1 <R7P1_1 <LVL2 <ORIG_EXP_PRE_CONV <EXP_AFT_CONVabc <GUARANTEE_AMOUNT <CREDIT_DER/ </LVL2 <LVL21 <AZ <BZbz1 <AZaz2 <BZ <CZ/ </LVL21 </R7P1_1 </LIST_R7P1_1 Only replacement is performed but not null/blank node removal.

  • Help understanding some OpenGL stuff

This is where I am having trouble, I have created the second actor, but cannot get it to move. • Good coding style to do case-select in XSLT

    - by Scud
    I want to have a page display A,B,C,D depending on the return value from XML value (1,2,3,4). My approaches are by javascript or XSLT:choose. I want to know which way is better, and why? Can I do this case-select in .cs code (good or bad)? Should I javascript code in XSLT? Can the community please advise? Thanks. Below are the code. • C++/boost generator module, feedback/critic please

    - by aaa
    hello. I wrote this generator, and I think to submit to boost people. Can you give me some feedback about it it basically allows to collapse multidimensional loops to flat multi-index queue. Loop can be boost lambda expressions. Main reason for doing this is to make parallel loops easier and separate algorithm from controlling structure (my fieldwork is computational chemistry where deep loops are common) 1 #ifndef _GENERATOR_HPP_ 2 #define _GENERATOR_HPP_ 3 4 #include <boost/array.hpp> 5 #include <boost/lambda/lambda.hpp> 6 #include <boost/noncopyable.hpp> 7 8 #include <boost/mpl/bool.hpp> 9 #include <boost/mpl/int.hpp> 10 #include <boost/mpl/for_each.hpp> 11 #include <boost/mpl/range_c.hpp> 12 #include <boost/mpl/vector.hpp> 13 #include <boost/mpl/transform.hpp> 14 #include <boost/mpl/erase.hpp> 15 16 #include <boost/fusion/include/vector.hpp> 17 #include <boost/fusion/include/for_each.hpp> 18 #include <boost/fusion/include/at_c.hpp> 19 #include <boost/fusion/mpl.hpp> 20 #include <boost/fusion/include/as_vector.hpp> 21 22 #include <memory> 23 24 /** 25 for loop generator which can use lambda expressions. 26 27 For example: 28 @code 29 using namespace generator;   • Why is mesh baking causing huge performance spikes?

    - by jellyfication
    A couple of seconds into the gameplay on my Android device, I see huge performance spikes caused by "Mesh.Bake Scaled Mesh PhysX CollisionData" In my game, a whole level is a parent object containing multiple ridigbodies with mesh colliders. Every FixedUpdate(), my parent object rotates around the player. Rotating the world causes mesh scaling. Here is the code that handles world rotation. private void Update() { input.update(); Vector3 currentInput = input.GetDirection(); worldParent.rotation = initialRotation; worldParent.DetachChildren(); worldParent.position = transform.position; world.parent = worldParent; worldParent.Rotate(Vector3.right, currentInput.x * 50f); worldParent.Rotate(Vector3.forward, currentInput.z * 50f); } How can I get rid of mesh scaling ? Mesh.Bake physx seems to take effect after some time, is it possible to disable this function ? The profiler looks like this: Bottom-left panel shows data before spikes, the right after

  • SQLAuthority News – Best Practices for Data Warehousing with SQL Server 2008 R2

    - by pinaldave
    An integral part of any BI system is the data warehouse—a central repository of data that is regularly refreshed from the source systems. The new data is transferred at regular intervals  by extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes. This whitepaper talks about what are best practices for Data Warehousing. This whitepaper discusses ETL, Analysis, Reporting as well relational database. The main focus of this whitepaper is on mainly ‘architecture’ and ‘performance’.
