    These answers don't satisfy MY needs. My mobile supports .3gp and .avi formats 3gp files are always smaller in size but with least quality (especially audio part) Avi (certainly) exhibits better quality but the video converter I am using (namely Xillisoft VidConverter) outputs avi file with very high size, which isn't suitable for portable devices So I'm looking for (essentially free or open source) software that creates smaller files with a better quality than 3gp! thank you :-)

  • how to reset the IIS settings ..

    I had been practicing ASP on my local machine.. I just wanted to change the TCP port address to 8080 and that is what I did, since then the URL "http://localhost/" is showing PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED, and technical reason being shown is : "You have attempted to execute a CGI, ISAPI, or other executable program from a directory that does not allow programs to be executed." I tried to change back the TCP port address to 80, (which is default) but its not making any difference. What should I do now, to make localhost to work as before ? When I create a virtual directory for the same path "C:/InetPub/wwwroot" then it works but with this URL "http://localhost/virualname/filename.asp" .. where as "http://localhost/filename.asp" throws error, as mentioned above. Can you please explain me what is this consequence is?? thank you :) Details: IIS verion is 7, OS XP,

    Is it possible to customize data (or date-time) format in Windows [I am using windows XP]? The current format which is followed by the OS [to show date-modified, etc.] is MM/DD/YYYY or M/D/YYYY, whereas I have been comfortable with DD/MM/YYYY or D/M/YYYY format. I am finding it hard to refer Date-modified [which I use often] of files and folders.

    I want Firefox to redirect bad and broken links to Google search instead of the "Can't find the server" page. If it takes an add-on, that's okay. When you enter a bad or broken link in Google Chrome, the browser takes you to a search results page with all possibly relevant links to the request attempted. Please don't suggest the search-tool-bar, I am aware of it. And it's not really significant in this scenario.

  • Audio services in windows 7

    In an attempt of blocking a viral service on my system (which was restarting my system automatically for every 30 seconds), I disabled all the services, and later enabled trustworthy services only. (note: Hide all microsoft services didn't work blocking the auto restart so I disabled all services) Now I have been succeeded in blocking automatic restart and I am able to access internet and all other necessary stuffs. Well, however system audio is mute(definitely because a necessary service is not running). Now I need a list of services that need to be started (set automatic) on windows 7.

    I need to send hundreds of pictures via email. The size is reaching 100s of MBs .. which is certainly burden on network. WinRar, 7-Zip aren't helping ..     Just now I tried to make a duplicate copy of my Windows XP Pro SP3 CD. I had set 32X speed while the max speed allowed is 48X. And checked "Verify the Data after burning". I didn't observe how much % did it complete. But after 15 mins (which is sufficient period to burn disc), I heard "Fatal Error" sound. When I saw the monitor, There was a message box which was showing "Error while burning Disc", I saved the error log which you can find here click_me. How do I acknowledge that burning process is done?? Well. my PC is able to read the CD and CD is bootable too.. I am not sure .. whether the burning process got failed or the verify Process! Please let me know if you have come across or aware of such situation .. As it is XP installation CD .. I don't want to do trial and error method. regards,

  • How to boost system sound output?

    When I use Earphones, I feel that my system output is very low, I have set all the volume output to maximum in "control panel\Sounds and Audio devices", but still not satisfactory. May be my earphones output proportionality is lower. No problem with sub-woofer, I think its because of the amplifier. Is there any software to boost up system volume output to compensate ?
