I'm sure you will say this is bad, but sometimes it is necessary. In Sql Server, you just put [brackets] around the field name.
Is it possible to do this in Access?
I installed Office Enterprise edition on a brand new Optiplex 380 with Windows 7.
Access, Excel and Publisher works perfect, but Word and PowerPoint crash on startup.
I tried everything on the KB post from Microsoft.
Any help will be great.
Thanks, Geo
I had an older PC running Win7 and the motherboard died on me. I've since updated my PC to another Win7 machine running a RAID 0 along with my old HDD installed as an extra drive. The problem is, I need to somehow import my Outlook email accounts (10) and rules along with my IE usernames and adjacent stored passwords for all the sites I've visited.…
Access is telling me that my new expression is to complex. It used to work when we had 10 service levels, but now we have 19! Great!
My expression is checking the COST of our services in the [PriceCharged] field and then assigning the appropriate HOURS [Servicelevel] when I perform a calculation to work out how much REVENUE each colleague has made…
The default amount of "increase indentation" whenever I highlight a few lines to indent is too big for me. I would like to halve that amount.
How do you set this? I don't want to set this every time I indent.
All our workstations run Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. It started with one, then another, then another couple of machines having a problem accessing Word files locally and on the network. This doesn't happen on my machine though. Affected users get the error message 'There was a problem sending the command to the program'.
I've Googled for…
It seems like I only can choose from:
Ctrl + 2 -- Ctrl + 9
Is there any way I can assign my own shortcut keys (outside of this range) to categorizing email?
Summary: Excel repairs my file, tells me what was removed, I go into the xml/zip structure to investigate, and I cannot figure out what was changed. Does anybody know what I can do to better understand what Excel changed? Is it futile to try to determine? It feels like this should be possible and like I'm almost there...

My aim is to set up Word to use the 'Cornell Notetaking method', and I would like to be able to have 'ruled lines' as part of my page in word.
Currently, I have a split textbox, however obviously this does not allow the text to flow between lines. The underlining method does not work well enough, and I had read something about a college…
I can work with Image captions, they are added fine in the doc.
But when I add new ones in the middle, the captions are not updated and I end up having two or more captions having the same number.
How do I update the references?
Hi each,
I've searched on google but not found a solution to my query, which is as follows.
I alredy created the template, but I don't know how to make it for it to
appear every time I press "NEW" since the template will be the same for all
my messages.

I'm looking to write a script that connects to an Exchange inbox (as me) and downloads messages. Is there any open source software out there to support me?
Thanks!
I've just received a document which forms the basis of a mail merge as an attachment and I need to view the field names like they display in 2003 with the double chevrons e.g.

In Excel, how does one go about plotting points that don't have an x component that is an x-axis label?
For example, in my graph, the x-components are derived from the cosine function and aren't linear, but Excel is displaying them as if .0016 to .0062 to .0135 is an equal incrementation.
How would I change this so that the x-axis has…
I created a really simple chart based on 2 columns (date and numeric value).
I click on the chart, go to Chart Tools/Layout. The Trendline drop down is greyed out.
