  I wondered if there is a programming language which compiles to machine code/binary (not bytecode then executed by a VM, that's something completely different when considering typing) that features dynamic and/or weak typing, e.g: Think of a compiled language where: Variables don't need to be declared Variables can be created doing runtime Functions can return values of different types Questions: Is there such a programming language? (Why) not? I think that a dynamically yet strong typed, compiled language would really sense, but is it possible?

  In my rails app the model is fetching some XML and returning an array. I want each array item (they are all text typed) to ultimately be a cell in an HTML table. Does the logic of turning the array elements into the HTML table belong in the controller or the view? Of course either will work, I'd like your thoughts on best practice.

  As usual I typed sudo Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all It uninstalled the first version (Beta) properly. Tried the same thing on the older Stable Version which I have installed to "XCode Stable" Getting this error Use of uninitialized value $dir_name in substitution (s///) at Library/uninstall-devtools line 153. Use of uninitialized value $developer_dir in concatenation (.) or string at Library/uninstall-devtools line 120 Anyone else facing this problem? Can I just trash the installation folder?

• Efficient code to avoid circular references in c# object model

  I have an excel like grid where values can be typed referencing other rows To check for circular references when a new value is entered, i traverse the tree and create a list of values referenced thus far, if the current value is found in this list, i return an error thus avoiding a circular reference. This is infrequent enough where extreme performance is not an issue but... Question - is there a better way ? I'm told it's not the most optimal but no answer was provided so on to the experts @ SO :)

  Hi All i am having a form which are having 4 lables and these lables value are displayed in the 4 textboxs, i am using MVVM and binding these textboxs with the Datatble which is coming through the typed dataset not the problem here is when i add a new row in the datatable with default values of columns and update ui by calling onpropertychanged event from my viewmodel , these values are not getting reflected on the form. After downloading the "examples" dir into "C:/clojure", I typed: user (require 'examples.introduction) and I got ; Evaluation aborted. java.io.FileNotFoundException: Could not locate examples/ introduction__init.class or examples/introduction.clj on classpath: (NO_SOURCE_FILE:0) My .emacs file looks like this: (setq swank-clojure-extra-classpaths (list "C:/Clojure")) The files in C:/Clojure are there (I triplechecked) Any help will be appreciated.
