  • Fleximage gem on Ruby 1.9

    - by jaycode
    Running a Rails application with Fleximage in Ruby 1.8.7 works fine, but in Ruby 1.9 returned error: /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/fleximage-1.0.4/lib/fleximage/model.rb:340: [BUG] Segmentation fault ruby 1.9.1p376 (2009-12-07 revision 26041) [i386-darwin10.0.0] -- control frame ---------- c:0060 p:---- s:0295 b:0295 l:000294 d:000294 CFUNC :read c:0059 p:0060 s:0291 b:0291 l:000290 d:000290 METHOD /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/fleximage-1.0.4/lib/fleximage/model.rb:340 c:0058 p:0084 s:0285 b:0285 l:000275 d:000284 BLOCK /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/activerecord-2.3.5/lib/active_record/base.rb:2746 c:0057 p:---- s:0281 b:0281 l:000280 d:000280 FINISH c:0056 p:---- s:0279 b:0279 l:000278 d:000278 CFUNC :each And further very long line of error. My fleximage is stored as gem, keeping it as plugin returning a different set of errors so I don't bother. How to fix this?

  • Multiple merchant accounts with Activemerchant gem.

    - by sosborn
I am developing a rails site that will allow a group of merchants (5 - 10) to accept credit card orders online. I plan on using the Activemerchant gem to handle the processing. In this case, each merchant will have their own merchant accounts to handle the payments. Storing banking information like that is not something I am a fan of. This could be solved by queing orders and allowing the merchant to log in to the site, input their credentials and process the order. However, if I go that route then it seems to me that I would have to store the customers' credit card information temporarily until the merchant has the opportunity to log in and process the order, which to me is the greater evil. Has anyone dealt with this situation? If so, what are the options available and what pitfalls should I look out for? In my mind, security customer credit card information is priority number one with the merchant account information a close second.

  • Headless gem: webkit_server: cannot connect to X server

    - by 23tux
I've got some problems running capybara-webkit with the Headless gem, Xvfb and our ci server. We use this setup for automatic integration testing and javascript testing of our Ruby on Rails 3.2 app. During the tests it complains that webkit_server: cannot connect to X server But when I ps aux | grep Xvfb deploy 1602 0.0 0.1 61696 1912 pts/2 S+ Jul10 0:00 /usr/bin/Xvfb :99 -screen 0 1280x1024x24 -ac I see the Xvfb running. If I run the tests with --trace it also only shows the error log above and I can't debug the error. Any ideas how I could get some more information, or even a solution?

  • Rails 3: config/initializers errors for gem configuration

    - by neezer
I'm trying to setup this plugin (Crumble), and the docs say I need to add a configuration file for the plugin in config/initializers/ like this (breadcrumb.rb): Breadcrumb.configure do ... end I add in my directives in that block, and reloaded the page, and I'm immediately greeted with a Passenger error: uninitialized constant Breadcrumb What am I missing here? gem list shows Crumble as installed, and if I launch IRB I can require 'crumble' successfully. I remember doing this just fine in Rails 2.3.5. Here's my setup: rails 3.0.0.beta3 ruby 1.9.1p378 (via RVM) passenger 2.2.11 (with Apache2) crumble 0.1.2 I've been trying to read the Rails 3 release notes to see if they've changed anything that would affect this, but so far I haven't found anything to suggest that the above shouldn't work. I'd appreciate any guidance you could spare me!

  • Rails Mikel Mail Gem How to use Views

    - by Victor Martins
I'm trying to use mikel gem mail on my 2.3.5 Rails App http://github.com/mikel/mail I have it working like this. I've made a MailComHelper, made a method like this : def self.welcome(user, password) @user = user m = Mail.new m.from = '[email protected]' m.to = @user.email m.subject = 'welcome' m.body = 'The body' m.delivery_method :sendmail m.deliver! end And it works, I receive the mail. But I wish I could use the old way of calling a view ( html.erb ) file and send that code has the body. I've read the documentation but haven't found a way to do it. Has anyone found a way to do it?

Hi, I've found this gem to be a great and easy way to send mail but I can't seem to send any html in it. If I write the following: Pony.mail( :to => message[:to], :from => @account[:from], :subject => message[:subject], :content_type => 'text/html', :html_body => "<h1>hey there!</h1>", :via => :smtp, :smtp => { :host => MY_HOST, :port => PORT, :auth => AUTH, :user => MY_USER, :password => MY_PASSWORD, :tls => true } ) The code above send a mail but the message appears to be empty in gmail. Any help would be greatly appreciated on this. Thanks.

  • Rails + Dragonfly gem: Saving image in a directory structure based on ActiveRecord object attributes

    - by Allen Bargi
I'm using dragonfly gem to manage images and attachments in my rails app and I need to store images in a specific directory structure based on my user model. let' say I have user model which has a name and each user has many albums, which have a name also, then I want the images to be stored in "#{RAILS_ROOT}/public/system/#{user.name}/#{user.album.name}/#{suffix}" I've managed to changed the root_path in dragon fly and I even overrided relative_storage_path like this: class MyDataStore < Dragonfly::DataStorage::FileDataStore private def relative_storage_path(suffix) "#{suffix}" end end but still, I don't know how I can pass the ActiveRecord object attributes like user.name and user.album.name to relative_storage_path to create my ideal path. do you have any idea how I can do such a thing?

  • Sentiment analysis for twitter in python

    - by Ran
I'm looking for an open source implementation, preferably in python, of Textual Sentiment Analysis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentiment_analysis). Is anyone familiar with such open source implementation I can use? I'm writing an application that searches twitter for some search term, say "youtube", and counts "happy" tweets vs. "sad" tweets. I'm using Google's appengine, so it's in python. I'd like to be able to classify the returned search results from twitter and I'd like to do that in python. I haven't been able to find such sentiment analyzer so far, specifically not in python. Are you familiar with such open source implementation I can use? Preferably this is already in python, but if not, hopefully I can translate it to python. Note, the texts I'm analyzing are VERY short, they are tweets. So ideally, this classifier is optimized for such short texts. BTW, twitter does support the ":)" and ":(" operators in search, which aim to do just this, but unfortunately, the classification provided by them isn't that great, so I figured I might give this a try myself. Thanks! BTW, an early demo is here and the code I have so far is here and I'd love to opensource it with any interested developer.

  • Twitter API PHP script error

    - by bardockyo
    I am having issues with my php script that I am using for gathering a users followers by accessing the twitter API. The script works fine for a user that has < 5000 followers but I tried adjusting the script using cursors to collect the complete set of users. Here is my script: <?php $cursor = -1; $file = fopen ('ids.csv', 'w+'); fwrite($file, "User id\n\r"); for ($i = 0; $i <= 1; $i++) { $xml = getFollowers($cursor); foreach ($xml->ids->id as $id) { fwrite($file, $id . ", "); fwrite($file, "\n"); } $cursor = $xml->next_cursor; } function getFollowers ($cursor) { $xmldata = 'https://api.twitter.com/1/followers/ids.xml?cursor='.$cursor.'&screen_name=microsoft'; $open = fopen($xmldata, 'r'); $content = stream_get_contents($open); fclose($open); $xml = simplexml_load_file($xmldata); return $xml; } ?> I am getting an error Warning: fopen("https://api.twitter.com/1/followers/ids.xml?cursor=-1&screen_name=microsoft") failed to open stream HTTP request failed bad request warning: stream_get_contents() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given. Any ideas?

  • How do I determine if my R installation on OS X has the "--enable-R-shlib" option enabled?

    - by Milktrader
I've installed R on my OS X machine via the .pkg method. I'm trying to get a Ruby gem called RSRuby to work and though it installed correctly, it's throwing an error when I try to invoke the gem. Fatal error: R home directory is not defined Reading the documentation, R should be installed with the option --enable-R-shlib. But the R documentation states that the Mac OS X installation does this by default. How can you verify that this option is enabled on an installation if you don't know it was explicitly called during installation? I'm chasing down why RSRuby can't find R home directory and this seems like the most likely problem.

  • swap a div to an embed form when user tweets using the @anywhere function box

    - by Jeff
I'm using the @anywhere twitter function on the front page of my site (vocabbomb.com) and right now it works great to allow users to tweet straight away. Problem is, when they click tweet, it just reloads the twitter box, empty. I want it to load something new, like a "thank you, now fill in this email form" and show a mailchimp form. Ok so this is the @anywhere code currently working fine: <div id="tbox"></div> <script type="text/javascript"> twttr.anywhere(function (T) { T("#tbox").tweetBox({ height: 100, width: 400, defaultContent: " #vocabbomb", label: "Use the word foo in a tweet:", }); }); </script> So this is fine, and when the user writes a tweet, it just re-displays the twitter box. I understand there is a function that lets you specify stuff after the tweet is made: (example from http://dev.twitter.com/pages/anywhere_tweetbox) <div id="example-ontweet"></div> <script type="text/javascript"> twttr.anywhere(function (T) { T("#example-ontweet").tweetBox({ onTweet : function(plaintext, html) { console.log(plaintext); alert(html); } }); }); </script> Is this the best way to attempt this? Or do I need a function or something that changes what's in the div to something else? I want the mailchimp email form to show up after the tweet. It includes a ton of script and tags and starts like this: <!-- Begin MailChimp Signup Form --> <!--[if IE]> <style type="text/css" media="screen"> #mc_embed_signup fieldset {position: relative;} #mc_embed_signup legend {position: absolute; top: -1em; left: .2em;} </style> <![endif]--> <!--[if IE 7]> <style type="text/css" media="screen"> .mc-field-group {overflow:visible;} </style> <![endif]--> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.2.6/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://downloads.mailchimp.com/js/jquery.validate.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://downloads.mailchimp.com/js/jquery.form.js"></script> <div id="mc_embed_signup"> <form action="http://faresharenyc.us1.list-manage.com/subscribe/post?u=106b58b4751a007d826715754&amp;id=2fe6ba4e6a" method="post" id="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" name="mc-embedded-subscribe-form" class="validate" target="_blank" style="font: normal 100% Arial, sans-serif;font-size: 10px;"> ... So my attempt to just require it inside the function didn't work at all: <div id="tbox"></div> <script type="text/javascript"> twttr.anywhere(function (T) { T("#tbox").tweetBox({ height: 100, width: 400, defaultContent: " #vocabbomb", label: "Use the word foo in a tweet:", onTweet: function(plain, html){ <?php require_once('mailchimp.html'); ?> } }); }); </script> Nettuts had a brief discussion here: http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/javascript-ajax/using-twitters-anywhere-service-in-6-steps/ I am seeing now that the 'onTweet' function simply adds some text above the twitter box, but doesn't actually replace the entire twitter box. How do I do that? Is it possible? Thanks!

  • Unable to install Ruby gems

    - by gemseeker
I am trying for the first time to install some Ruby gems on Mac OS X Leopard. Please see the command and the output below. My question is how do I install a gem with dependencies? I tried installing individual dependency gems first from a locally downloaded files but I soon found out that there is no end to the rabbit hole :-) I also found out that there are circular dependencies that break even this tedious method. There must be a better way! I would really appreciate your help. sudo gem install oauth Updating metadata for 1 gems from http://gems.rubyforge.org . complete ERROR: Error installing oauth: oauth requires actionpack (>= 2.2.0, < 2.3.0)

  • September 2011 Release of the Ajax Control Toolkit

    - by Stephen Walther
I’m happy to announce the release of the September 2011 Ajax Control Toolkit. This release has several important new features including: Date ranges – When using the Calendar extender, you can specify a start and end date and a user can pick only those dates which fall within the specified range. This was the fourth top-voted feature request for the Ajax Control Toolkit at CodePlex. Twitter Control – You can use the new Twitter control to display recent tweets associated with a particular Twitter user or tweets which match a search query. Gravatar Control – You can use the new Gravatar control to display a unique image for each user of your website. Users can upload custom images to the Gravatar.com website or the Gravatar control can display a unique, auto-generated, image for a user. You can download this release this very minute by visiting CodePlex: http://AjaxControlToolkit.CodePlex.com Alternatively, you can execute the following command from the Visual Studio NuGet console: Improvements to the Ajax Control Toolkit Calendar Control The Ajax Control Toolkit Calendar extender control is one of the most heavily used controls from the Ajax Control Toolkit. The developers on the Superexpert team spent the last sprint focusing on improving this control. There are three important changes that we made to the Calendar control: we added support for date ranges, we added support for highlighting today’s date, and we made fixes to several bugs related to time zones and daylight savings. Using Calendar Date Ranges One of the top-voted feature requests for the Ajax Control Toolkit was a request to add support for date ranges to the Calendar control (this was the fourth most voted feature request at CodePlex). With the latest release of the Ajax Control Toolkit, the Calendar extender now supports date ranges. For example, the following page illustrates how you can create a popup calendar which allows a user only to pick dates between March 2, 2009 and May 16, 2009. <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="CalendarDateRange.aspx.cs" Inherits="WebApplication1.CalendarDateRange" %> <%@ Register TagPrefix="asp" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" %> <html> <head runat="server"> <title>Calendar Date Range</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <asp:ToolkitScriptManager ID="tsm" runat="server" /> <asp:TextBox ID="txtHotelReservationDate" runat="server" /> <asp:CalendarExtender ID="Calendar1" TargetControlID="txtHotelReservationDate" StartDate="3/2/2009" EndDate="5/16/2009" SelectedDate="3/2/2009" runat="server" /> </form> </body> </html> This page contains three controls: an Ajax Control Toolkit ToolkitScriptManager control, a standard ASP.NET TextBox control, and an Ajax Control Toolkit CalendarExtender control. Notice that the Calendar control includes StartDate and EndDate properties which restrict the range of valid dates. The Calendar control shows days, months, and years outside of the valid range as struck out. You cannot select days, months, or years which fall outside of the range. The following video illustrates interacting with the new date range feature: If you want to experiment with a live version of the Ajax Control Toolkit Calendar extender control then you can visit the Calendar Sample Page at the Ajax Control Toolkit Sample Site. Highlighted Today’s Date Another highly requested feature for the Calendar control was support for highlighting today’s date. The Calendar control now highlights the user’s current date regardless of the user’s time zone. Fixes to Time Zone and Daylight Savings Time Bugs We fixed several significant Calendar extender bugs related to time zones and daylight savings time. For example, previously, when you set the Calendar control’s SelectedDate property to the value 1/1/2007 then the selected data would appear as 12/31/2006 or 1/1/2007 or 1/2/2007 depending on the server time zone. For example, if your server time zone was set to Samoa (UTC-11:00), then setting SelectedDate=”1/1/2007” would result in “12/31/2006” being selected in the Calendar. Users of the Calendar extender control found this behavior confusing. After careful consideration, we decided to change the Calendar extender so that it interprets all dates as UTC dates. In other words, if you set StartDate=”1/1/2007” then the Calendar extender parses the date as 1/1/2007 UTC instead of parsing the date according to the server time zone. By interpreting all dates as UTC dates, we avoid all of the reported issues with the SelectedDate property showing the wrong date. Furthermore, when you set the StartDate and EndDate properties, you know that the same StartDate and EndDate will be selected regardless of the time zone associated with the server or associated with the browser. The date 1/1/2007 will always be the date 1/1/2007. The New Twitter Control This release of the Ajax Control Toolkit introduces a new twitter control. You can use the Twitter control to display recent tweets associated with a particular twitter user. You also can use this control to show the results of a twitter search. The following page illustrates how you can use the Twitter control to display recent tweets made by Scott Hanselman: <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="TwitterProfile.aspx.cs" Inherits="WebApplication1.TwitterProfile" %> <%@ Register TagPrefix="asp" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" %> <html > <head runat="server"> <title>Twitter Profile</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <asp:ToolkitScriptManager ID="tsm" runat="server" /> <asp:Twitter ID="Twitter1" ScreenName="shanselman" runat="server" /> </form> </body> </html> This page includes two Ajax Control Toolkit controls: the ToolkitScriptManager control and the Twitter control. The Twitter control is set to display tweets from Scott Hanselman (shanselman): You also can use the Twitter control to display the results of a search query. For example, the following page displays all recent tweets related to the Ajax Control Toolkit: Twitter limits the number of times that you can interact with their API in an hour. Twitter recommends that you cache results on the server (https://dev.twitter.com/docs/rate-limiting). By default, the Twitter control caches results on the server for a duration of 5 minutes. You can modify the cache duration by assigning a value (in seconds) to the Twitter control's CacheDuration property. The Twitter control wraps a standard ASP.NET ListView control. You can customize the appearance of the Twitter control by modifying its LayoutTemplate, StatusTemplate, AlternatingStatusTemplate, and EmptyDataTemplate. To learn more about the new Twitter control, visit the live Twitter Sample Page. The New Gravatar Control The September 2011 release of the Ajax Control Toolkit also includes a new Gravatar control. This control makes it easy to display a unique image for each user of your website. A Gravatar is associated with an email address. You can visit Gravatar.com and upload an image and associate the image with your email address. That way, every website which uses Gravatars (such as the www.ASP.NET website) will display your image next to your name. For example, I visited the Gravatar.com website and associated an image of a Koala Bear with the email address [email protected]. The following page illustrates how you can use the Gravatar control to display the Gravatar image associated with the [email protected] email address: <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="GravatarDemo.aspx.cs" Inherits="WebApplication1.GravatarDemo" %> <%@ Register TagPrefix="asp" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" %> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head id="Head1" runat="server"> <title>Gravatar Demo</title> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <asp:ToolkitScriptManager ID="tsm" runat="server" /> <asp:Gravatar ID="Gravatar1" Email="[email protected]" runat="server" /> </form> </body> </html> The page above simply displays the Gravatar image associated with the [email protected] email address: If a user has not uploaded an image to Gravatar.com then you can auto-generate a unique image for the user from the user email address. The Gravatar control supports four types of auto-generated images: Identicon -- A different geometric pattern is generated for each unrecognized email. MonsterId -- A different image of a monster is generated for each unrecognized email. Wavatar -- A different image of a face is generated for each unrecognized email. • AMQP gem specifying a dead letter exchange

    - by JP.
I've specified a queue on the RabbitMQ server called MyQueue. It is durable and has x-dead-letter-exchange set to MyQueue.DLX. (I also have an exchange called MyExchange bound to that queue, and another exchange called MyQueue.DLX, but I don't believe this is important to the question) If I use ruby's amqp gem to subscribe to those messages I would do it like this: # Doing this before and in a new thread has to do with how my code is structured # shown here in case it has a bearing on the question Thread.new do AMQP.start('amqp://guest:[email protected]:5672') end EventMachine.next_tick do channel = AMQP::Channel.new(AMQP.connection) queue = channel.queue("MyQueue", :durable => true, :'x-dead-letter-exchange' => "MyQueue.DLX") queue.subscribe(:ack => true) do |metadata, payload| p metadata p payload end end If I execute this code with the queues and exchanges already created and bound (as they need to be in my set up) then RabbitMQ throws the following error in its logs: =ERROR REPORT==== 19-Aug-2013::14:25:53 === connection <0.19654.2>, channel 2 - soft error: {amqp_error,precondition_failed, "inequivalent arg 'x-dead-letter-exchange'for queue 'MyQueue' in vhost '/': received none but current is the value 'MyQueue.DLX' of type 'longstr'", 'queue.declare'} Which seems to be saying that I haven't specified the same Dead Letter Exchange as the pre-existing queue - but I believe I have with the queue = ... line. Any ideas?

  • Making RDoc Ruby Gem Default on Mac OS X

    - by jkale
Hey all, I've recently installed RDoc version (2.4.3) through Ruby gems to replace the one shipped with Mac OS X (version 1.0.1). Unfortunately, I can still only use RDoc 1.0.1 when I call run "rdoc" at the command line. rdoc -v returns: RDoc V1.0.1 - 20041108 I tried amending the $PATH variable to point the first entry to the RDoc 2.4.3 folder but no luck. I couldn't find anything about this online either, so I thought I'd ask here. Cheers! Update: Running "gem list -d --version 1.0.1 rdoc" returns: *** LOCAL GEMS *** rdoc (2.4.3) Authors: Eric Hodel, Dave Thomas, Phil Hagelberg, Tony Strauss Rubyforge: http://rubyforge.org/projects/rdoc Homepage: http://rdoc.rubyforge.org Installed at: /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8 RDoc is an application that produces documentation for one or more Ruby source files Therefore, it's definitely the Mac OSX version of RDoc that's interfering with the Gems version. Update 2: I found out, using: `bash --debugger rdoc` that the old version of RDoc was in /opt/local/bin. I deleted it and added my gems directory to my $PATH `export PATH=/usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/` I now have a fresh working copy of the latest RDoc!

  • Using Gem Dependencies if a server is 2.0 instead of 2.1

    - by user548744
At work for internal Rails applications, the server is running Rails 2.0.4 and Ruby 1.86. As far as I know, that's not going to change anytime soon and I have no control over it. I was going to try and test this out between a couple of computers and was curious if anyone knew what would happen. Being the server is on 2.0.4, I'd like to build Rails 2.3.5 applications for that server if at all possible. From what I understand so far, it won't be a problem if I freeze gems and upack dependancies. Does that sound right? Also, the internal work server has no gems beyond what Rails installs. What I'm wondering is, if I can successfully run a 2.3.5 application on the 2.0.4 server, can I also use extra gems and unpack those to use even though the server doesn't have them? I know that it was version 2.1 that introduced Gem Dependencies so would a 2.3.5 Rails app running on a 2.0.4 server be able to use required gems that are unpacked into an application? One of the worst things with this situation is even if the above stuff works, the server being on 1.86 would exclude me from using a lot of really cool gems that require Ruby 1.87 (like Formtastic). Thanks

  • How do you write Valid XHTML 1.0 Strict code when you are using javascript to fill an element that r

    - by Tim Visher
I'm running my site through the W3C's validator trying to get it to validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict and I've gotten down to a particularly sticky (at least in my experience) validation error. I'm including certain badges from various services in the site that provide their own API and code for inclusion on an external site. These badges use javascript (for the most part) to fill an element that you insert in the markup which requires a child. This means that in the end, perfectly valid markup is generated, but to the validator, all it sees is an incomplete parent-child tag which it then throws an error on. As a caveat, I understand that I could complain to the services that their badges don't validate. Sans this, I assume that someone has validated their code while including badges like this, and that's what I'm interested in. Answers such as, 'Complain to Flickr about their badge' aren't going to help me much. An additional caveat: I would prefer that as much as possible the markup remains semantic. I.E. Adding an empty li tag or tr-td pair to make it validate would be an undesirable solution, even though it may be necessary. If that's the only way it can be made to validate, oh well, but please lean answers towards semantic markup. As an example: <div id="twitter_div"> <h2><a href="http://twitter.com/stopsineman">@Twitter</a></h2> <ul id="twitter_update_list"> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://twitter.com/javascripts/blogger.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://twitter.com/statuses/user_timeline/stopsineman.json?callback=twitterCallback2&amp;count=1"></script> </ul> </div> Notice the ul tags wrapping the javascript. This eventually gets filled in with lis via the script, but to the validator it only sees the unpopulated ul. Thanks in advance!

  • Re-tweets and replies with JTwitter

    - by Samuh
I have not used Twitter enough to become familiar with its terminology or the way it works, so please help me in understanding the problem I have at hand. I am getting last 20 status updates posted by some Twitter user via RSS feed, the feed XML is parsed and the statuses are displayed in a ListView. Which means that I have the original tweet in a String variable(row of ListView). When I click a ListView item, I get the option of "Re-tweeting" and "post reply". As, I understand it, when re-tweeting I will have to just update my *status* as: RT @orig-poster <original tweet> and when posting a reply I will have to just update my status as: @orig-poster <my tweet> I skimmed through the JavaDocs of the Jwitter library(Twitter class) and found a setStatus(String) method. I dont think I will have to make use of retweet() or reply() functions of the Twitter class in JTwitter library. Is my understanding correct? Please correct me if I am wrong here or missing anything. Thanks!
