  • Android Facebook Login issue?

    In my application (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.cabot.beastly&feature=search_result), I am using facebook-android api to login and share to Facebook. It's works fine in emulator and Samsung Galaxy Tab when i tested. But some bugs are reporting by the client, facebook login doesn't load. I think they tested in a device with Android2.1. What are the reasons to don't load facebook login Dialog?. How can i find the reason for this bug?.

I have not found any more info in any books or internet. My website download forms has 1000's of pages generated thru script. I want to generate breadcrumb navigation for the pages. Google has refused me Adsense account due to this lack of navigation.

I went through Rails api and found becomes(klass).For now there is not association between a Post and Comment. So i tried @post.becomes(Comment). but becomes method could not be found for @post object. Am i missing something ?

    I'm using the Google Maps API to build a map full of markers, but I want one marker to stand out from the others. The simplest thing to do, I think, would be to change the color of the marker to blue, instead of red. Is this a simple thing to do or do I have to create a whole new icon somehow? If I do have to create a new icon, what's the easiest way to do that?

  • Android TimePicker hour field disappears after orientation change

    I am using a TimePicker under API 1.5 and when the orientation is changed on my device (a stock G1 running 1.6 - though NOT on the 1.5/1.6 emulator), the hour field goes blank. It still remembers the hour, it just doesn't show it. Is there any workaround for this?     Does psycopg2 have a function for escaping the value of a LIKE operand for Postgres? For example I may want to match strings that start with the string "20% of all", so I want to write something like this: sql = '... WHERE ... LIKE %(myvalue)s' cursor.fetchall(sql, { 'myvalue': escape_sql_like('20% of all') + '%' } Is there an existing escape_sql_like function that I could plug in here? (Similar question to How to quote a string value explicitly (Python DB API/Psycopg2), but I couldn't find an answer there.)

    I know that under Windows, there are API functions like global_alloc() and such, which allocate memory, and return a handle, then this handle can be locked and a pointer returned, then unlocked again. When unlocked, the system can move this piece of memory around when it runs low on space, optimising memory usage. My question is that is there something similar under Linux, and if not, how does Linux optimize its memory usage?

  • Autohide scrollbars when not scrolling in a ListView

    In the new official Twitter app, the scrollbars in all the ListViews the app uses are hidden unless the user is scrolling through the list. When you start scrolling, the scrollbars appear. When you stop, they fade out with an animation until they are gone completely. I can't seem to find anything in the documentation that indicates this as being a standard feature. Is this something included in the API? If not, anyone know how this might be done?
