I get the following error in Chrome every time I try to run my script on a Linux server: Error 324 (net::ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE): Unknown error. In Firefox it just shows a blank white page. Whenever I run it on my local test server (IIS on Windows 7) it runs exactly the way it should with no errors. ASP.NET application partially reading external configuration

I have an ASP.NET web app and am attempting to reference an external config (using enterprise application blocks configuration) for some of the configuration but it is not entirely working. I previously had all of the configuration info in the web.config (and it was working), but we are wanting to share some of this configuration information between multiple apps. When I put configurationSource tag in the web.config, and read the configuration through the WebConfigurationManager object, it loads some of the external config info (Logging) but not the connectionStrings and not the custom section I created. So its reading it (logging is working), but some dots aren't being connected and my connection strings aren't coming through. Again, it worked when it was all in the web.config. Any idea what needs to change to be able to reference an external configuration source and have it all come through? Then I moved the HTML content as a view in codeigniter and it was still ok (I had used non-english characters that were ok as always) I added a simple dynamic functionality (there is a contact us form in it that emails users feedback to site admin). Please note that the characters were ok at localhost (which is a LAMP server running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS) Strange is that when I uploaded the app to server, all persian characters are shown as ???? (For example ??? (which means Name) is shown ??? and so so...) I have not even connected to mysql or any other DBMS. It's the only page in the website (it's more an under construction page) and nothing else has been used in it. Maybe I should state that I have also used session library to thank the user after his feedback was sent to admins, nothing else. I have really no idea about the problem. UPDATE Now I can see that the problem is only with cPanel. On Directadmin I can see that everything is normal. Both Chromium and Firefox DO use UTF-8 as page's character encoding. OpenSSL in C++ email client - server closes connection with TLSv1 Alert message

My app connects to a IMAP email server. One client configured his server to reject SSLv2 certificates, and now my app fails to connect to the server. All other email clients connect to this server successfully. My app uses openssl. I debugged by creating minimal openssl client and attempt to connect to the server. Below is the code with connects to the mail server (using Windows sockets, but same problem is with unix sockets). Server sends its initial IMAP greeting message, but after client sends 1st command, server closes connection. In Wireshark, I see that after sending command to server, it returns TLSv1 error message 21 (Encrypted Alert) and connection is gone. I'm looking for proper setup of OpenSSL for this connection to succeed. Parsing csv line to Java objects

I was wondering if someone here could help me, I can't find a solution for my problem and I have tried everything. What I am trying to do is read and parse lines in a csv file into java objects and I have succeeded in doing that but after it reads all the lines it should insert the lines into the database but it only inserts the 1st line the entire time and I don't no why. Easiest way to submit data via PHP?

I'm new to PHP, and have spent 10 hours trying to figure this problem out. The goal is to take all data entered into this order form, and send it to my email via PHP. I have 2 questions: 1. I can get PHP to send data from a single menu item (example: Mexican Tortas), but how do I get PHP to send data from multiple items (example: Mexican Tortas, Fish Sandwich and Hamburger)? 2. How do I tell PHP to not send data from menu items that don't have the "How Many?" or "Customize It?" text fields filled out? Tomcat 6: Access Control Exception?

I'm trying to setup a tomcat6 server, and I'm trying to match another setup someone else established. However, my deployment (default Ubuntu install) uses a policy.d/ directory structure, and the established server just uses a catalina.policy file. I've tried setting every entry in policy.d to match the given catalina.policy, but I still get the following stacktrace on boot (from localhost log). I have two questions, then. First, how do I get tomcat to use a single poilcy file, rather than the directory structure presented by policy.d/? Secondly, why, when I specify all files to use the same policy, do I still get the stack trace below? Cannot Start Nginx Compiled from Source

I am trying to compile Nginx from source based on the original compiled Nginx server running on my DigitalOcean server ( Ubuntu-14.04 64x ) but with a few extra modules. I can get everything installed smoothly but I can not get it to start. I am sure the ini is correct because I copied the original source off the current running Nginx server [ Even though I see that Nginx now adds the ini when compiling fron source ]. And now to start the server: service nginx start And this is where s#!+ hits the fan - Nada. I check to see if Nginx is running with service --status-all and its not. Also with nginx -V and its not installed??? I reboot the system too and still nothing. So I am not sure what is wrong here. The ini was copied over from the old server along with all the other config files after deleting the old files. When I opened the new compiled files, the nginx default data was present so I replaced them with my old original data prior to starting the new server for the first time. Also to be safe, I rm /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default and symlinked with ln -s /etc/nginx/sites-available/default /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/default with no errors and I verified that the data was in the sites-enabled/default file. I don't think the server really/fully installed because of the nginx -V result: The program 'nginx' can be found in the following packages: * nginx-core * nginx-extras * nginx-full * nginx-light * nginx-naxsi Try: apt-get install <selected package> Do/should I apt-get install nginx-1.7.4 ?? Or what package do I use being that its a custom package and make install earlier did nothing?? Removing malware of a particular kind

I need to remove some malware from my computer. It is a trojan, and very annoying. It blocks access to Google and search sites. The trojan, with its name spelled out on each line cause it seems to block sites when i reference it in a url, is a r t (some text to mess it up) e m (more text i s First off, what is it, what does it do? Second, why can't I access google or yahoo or any other search sites at all? Third, can it be removed via McAffee? It says it quarantined it when I scanned I found a suspicious process "c"s"r"s"s".exe and it will not let me terminate it, and this is what Mcaffee says it is. Too many connections to 212.192.255.240

Recently, my Internet slowed down drastically. I downloaded a tool to see the TCP/IP connections from my Vista computer. I found out that a lot TCP/IP connections are being connected to 212.192.255.240 through SVCHost. It seems that it is trying to connect to different ports. I think that my computer is being infected with some kind of malware etc. But I am not sure how to get rid of it. I did a little bit of research on this IP but found nothing. Any suggestions are highly appreciated. UPDATE: This is the HiJackThis log file and I can't find any thing weird. Also, the program is also trying to create connections to 91.205.127.63, which is also from Russia. Trouble connecting to vsftpd on ubuntu server

I have installed Ubuntu Server 10.10 and I am using it to host a domain that I have. I am trying to set up FTP for the server, but I am running into some problems. I have successfully installed vsFTPd and I have opened up ports 20, 21 on my firewall. In my vsFTPd configuration, I have enabled SSL. Every time I try to connect to my server via FTP, I receive a "Connection Refused" error. I have had a little more success with SSL disabled, however the connection process will time out after the LIST command (but it does accept my authentication). Cisco ASA: Allowing and Denying VPN Access based on membership to an AD group

I have a Cisco ASA 5505 connecting to an Active Directory server for VPN authentication. Usually we'd restrict this to a particular OU, but in this case users which need access are spread across multiple OUs. So, I'd like to use a group to specify which users have remote access. I've created the group and added the users, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to deny users which aren't in that group. Right now, if someone connects they get assigned the correct group policy "companynamera" if they are in that group, so the LDAP mapping is working. However, users who are not in that group still authenticate fine, and their group policy becomes the LDAP path of their first group, i.e. CN=Domain Users,CN=Users,DC=example,DC=com, and then are still allowed access. How do I add a filter so that I can map everything that isn't "companynamera" to no access? Can't Get Virtual Users Setup in VSFTPD -Tried Everything

Have Ubuntu 11.10 with vsftpd installed and working. Can not get virtual users setup at all? Vsftpd will allow main Ubuntu owner account to login, but nothing else? I've followed several tutorials on adding virtual users, but nothing works? I just need to add 2 virtual users and have them be able to upload files to vsftpd Ubuntu computer from other computers on my Lan network. Everywhere I've looked, people just point toward tutorials on adding virtual users, but that just is NOT working. I've been struggling with this for over a week now! PLEASE Help. Thanks. my server suddenly crashes every 2 days or so. Programmer has no idea, please help find the cause, here is the top

Every couple of days my server suddenly crashes and I must request hardware reset at data center to get it back running. Today I came back to my shell and saw the server was dead and "top" was running on it, and see below for the "top" right before the crash. I opened /var/log/messages and scrolled to the reboot time and see nothing, no errors prior to the hard reboot. (I checked in /etc/syslog.conf and I see "*.info;mail.none;authpriv.none;cron.none /var/log/messages" , isn't this good enough to log all problems?) Usually when I look at the top, the swap is never used up like this! I also don't know why mysqld is at 323% cpu (server only runs drupal and its never slow or overloaded). Solver is my application. I don't know whats that 'sh' doing and 'dovecot' doing. rsync over ssh is not working anymore, while ssh itself is working fine (Write failed: broken pipe)

This issue started happening after i changed router. This is the scenario: Windows7 Host Ubuntu 10.04 Guest (VirtualBox) Ubuntu 10.04 remote server What i used to do is run a very basic rsync command: rsync -avz --delete /local/path/ username@host:/path/to/remote/directory This worked perfect until i did change adsl provider, and i changed router aswell: now, this happens: rsync on Ubuntu Guest is not working anymore (to any random server), if using this new router rsync on Ubuntu Guest is WORKING, if i switch back to old router i tried a new virtual box ubuntu install, and the command is WORKING with both the routers So, the not-working-combo is oldUbuntu + newRouter. To get things worst, i can state that (on the not-working ubuntu) i ping the remote host plain ssh connection to the remote host is working fine (i can auth, connect, and do stuff on the remote host)
