• What is the best way to modify a few fields in an XML using Java

  I have a big XML which contains around 300 elements. I need to modify 2 or 3 elements in this xml using Java. I don't want to go for conventional marshalling and unmarshalling as it involves the parsing of the whole XML. How is XPath/XSLT manipulation? • How can I change the color of build output in a shell window?

  I have a build process which runs from a batch file. It produces a large volume of text. Sometimes it prints the word "Error" or "Warning" followed by a message. The errors and warnings are getting lost among a sea of text. Can I highlight those words in a different color, maybe in a dos window, or a cygwin shell window, possibly by piping them through some string manipulation program before posting them to the screen? I need to make a migration between 2 database connections, one of them having unique index on 2 fields and one doesn't. And my migration is empty. When the 11th element is added, it is created a new list with room for 20 elements, and the 10 elements are copied into the new array. This will repeat as until there are no more elements to add, or to a maximum size. Is the List in .NET constructed the same way?
