  I want to force git to checkout files under Windows using just LF not CR+LF. I checked the two configuration options but I was not able to find the right combination of settings. I want it to convert all files to LF and keep the LF on the files. Remark: I used autocrlf = input but this just repairs the files when you commit them. I want to force it to get them using 'LF'.

  My import of sql via the mysql console is rather slow and as our sql file is increasing every day I would like to know if there are any alternatives on how to import a sql file faster. Changing to oracle or other systems is no option, the configuration has to stay the same. Currently the sql file is: 1.5 Gb I'm on Wamp with Apache 2.2.14, PHP 5.2.11 and MySQL 5.1.41. Any suggestions?

  We are performing a pen test on a simple asp application that uses MS SQL Database. It seems for the authentication they are using dynamic constructed queries but escaping single qoutes. When we use Unicode quotes like %uFFO7,%u02b9 etc we are able to successfully inject SQL injections. Want to understand is it more a kind of configuration issue of IIS server to cannonicalize Unicode characters or the way the validation function to escape single quotes is written is the cause of the problem?

I know that Oracle has the concept of a web/HTTP trigger, where you can execute an HTTP GET from the Oracle instance itself to a URL that can then handle the request at the application layer. I'm wondering if Postgres (v. 9.0.5) has the same feature, or comes with anything similar (and, subsequently, how to set it up/configure it)?

  I have a jar file with resources (mainly configuration for caches, logging, etc) that I want to distribute. I'm having a problem with the relative paths for those resources, so I did what I've found in another stackoverflow question, which said that this was a valid way: ClassInTheSamePackageOfTheResource.class.getResourceAsStream('resource.xml'); Sadly this does not work. Any ideas? Thanks! PS: Obviously I cannot use absolute paths, and I'd like to avoid environment variables if possible

  I am using GWT eclipse plugin and try to add option "-style pretty" inside arguments tab of debug configuration window in eclipse. But after click debug it just prompts "Unknown argument: -style". I used to use webcreator to create gwt app. this is my first time to use plugin and i am not sure i put it into the right place or gwt 2.1.0.M2 just doesn't support this option (which is wired).   I have a debug .exe file that i want to run on other machines that don't have MS Visual Studio 2008 installed on them. How can this be done? The release option doesn't work as the application does not function correctly when build in release (not sure why).
