    Hello everybody, I have two nested lists of different sizes: A = [[1, 7, 3, 5], [5, 5, 14, 10]] B = [[1, 17, 3, 5], [1487, 34, 14, 74], [1487, 34, 3, 87], [141, 25, 14, 10]] I'd like to gather all nested lists from list B if A[2:4] == B[2:4] and put it into list L: L = [[1, 17, 3, 5], [141, 25, 14, 10]] Additionally if the match occurs then I want to change last element of sublist B into first element of sublist A so the final solution would look like this: L1 = [[1, 17, 3, 1], [141, 25, 14, 5]]

  • How to use the Bass library to convert audio to another format (using C#)

I'm trying to create a "simple" program that allows me to create a list of video files (Youtube video's to be precise) that are then run through by my program and converted any given format to pure MP3 audio. For this purpose I'm trying to use the BASS.dll and well it isn't going so well. I was wondering if anyone has used BASS to convert from one audio format to another? Or is there another library better suited for this?

    Hi there, I'm looking for a data structure that will act like a Queue so that I can hava First In First Out behaviour, but ideally I would also be able to see if an element exists in that Queue in constant time as you can do with a HashMap, rather than the linear time that you get with a LinkedList. I thought a LinkedHashMap might do the job, but although I could make an iterator and just take and then remove the first element of the iteration to produce a sort of poll() method, I'm wondering if there is a better way.   • How to enable iPhone auto lock during MPMoviePlayer playback?

    When I play a video with MPMoviePlayerController in my app my iPhone does not auto lock (tested OS 3.0 & 3.1.2). However, the application.idleTimerDisabled = NO, so this setting is not affected by MPMoviePlayerController. How can I get my iPhone to sleep normally (e.g. after 3 min screen dims, then goes dark) when my app is running and playing a video?

  • Is it possible to return the "highlighted" (like Firebug) css selector or dom id with jquery?

    Hi Folks, When you click the "Click an element on the page to inspect" arrow with FireBug, it puts a Blue Border around the target element, and also returns the DOM Id. I am building an application and that feature would be awesome to add. Be able to hover over elements and highlight the target, upon clicking return the DOM Id or CSS selector to the application. Is there a jquery plugin that does this magic? Some other smart way? Thanks!, Jonathan

  • Livevalidation clientside validation - can you control the position of the validation messages?

    I'm using LiveValidaion for my clientside validation http://livevalidation.com/ and DataAnnotations for my validation rules. This all works fine except that the clientside error messages are only ever displayed to the right of the element being validated. Is it possible to move this validation message below the element being validated? Or even better, group all messages in a div at the top/bottom of the page? I dont see anything in their docs or examples

I'm using some plugins such as an external simpletooltips plugin and the drupal plugin jQuery Media (to load flash video player for some video file-fields). All this stuff stop to work for the content of the lightbox, I guess because the content is not parsed... how can I solve this ? Should I trigger the plugins again ? Thanks

I've also attempted to iterate through all children elements and make them siblings of the font tag before unlinking the font tag--which also results in lost HTML.     Hi, I have a groovy list of lists i.e. list = [[2, 0, 1], [1, 5, 2], [1, 0, 3]] I would like sort it by order of the first element, then second, then third. Expected assert list == [[1, 0, 3], [1, 5, 2], [2, 0, 1]] I started with list = list.sort{ a,b -> a[0] <=> b[0] } but that only sorts the first element. How do you finish? Thanks

    Hi All, I'm running into a similar problem as this: link text I've done the fix as in the answer but now I end up with an error a couple lines later: $$([overlay = (new Element("div", {id: "mbOverlay"})).addEvent("click", close), center = new Element("div", {id: "mbCenter"})]).setStyle is not a function [Break on this error] ]).setStyle("display", "none") It's on this page: link text When you click on 'showreel' it should pop up into the media box, but instead it just goes to a new page.   • disable horizontal scrolling by finger swipe

    This may just be a mac issue, but I have a page with an element which is twice the size of the page and is moved into view dynamically. in my css I have overflow-x:hidden set so that this element won't create an ugly bottom scollbar, the problem is on my laptop (and probably on ipads and other devices) I can just swipe with two fingers to scroll and view this content. This breaks the whole layout and looks really bad, and I am looking for a way to completely disable this horizontal scrolling action with javascript or css. Thank you
