(totally nrows*ncolumns bytes/unsigned char) I know how to do it in C or C++ using FILE handler by reading several lines first and read the binary block. But don't know how to do it in .Net.

    Gday, I am trying to create a tiled map for my game, i have had this previously working using other xml methods but i had memory leaks and all sorts of errors. However i had a map load time of about 2.5 - 3 seconds. So i rewrote all of the code using NSMutableStrings and NSStrings. After my best attempt at optomizing it i had a map load time of 10 - 11 seconds, which is far too slow. So i have now rewritten the code using char* arrays, only to now have a load time of 18 seconds -_-. Here is the latest code, i don't know much c so i could have easily botched the whole thing up.     I am VERY new to rsync and cygwin and I'm pretty sure I've installed everything correctly. I am trying to (for now) just rsync two Windows XP Laptops to tranfer files across from the one to the other to get a feel of it before I tackle bigger projects.     I am running Debian Wheezy on my server, and have just installed a VNC server and Xfce. I have come across a problem: whenever I open a terminal emulator through VNC, I get an error box with this message: Failed to execute child. getpt failed: No such file or directory. This happens with every terminal I try to run. I can still run commands through SSH, however. It's just the terminal that won't open. Does anyone have any suggestions? /etc/fstab: proc /proc proc defaults 0 0 none /dev/pts devpts rw 0 0
