• One row is skipped each time the program scans a matrix from file !

  Hello there, I had this code working yesterday, but it seems like I edited it a bit and lost the working version. I cant get this to work anymore. I basically want to scan a matrix from a .txt file. But each time it scans the first row, the second one is skipped, and it reads the third instead :( Here is my code : for(i=0;i<=test->rowmat1;i++){ for(j=0;j<=test->colmat1;j++){ fscanf(fin,"%f\t",&test->mat[i][j]); } fscanf(fin,"%*[^\n]",&test->mat[i][j]); } For example, for a matrix of : 1.00 2.00 3.00 4.00 5.00 6.00 7.00 8.00 9.00 10.00 11.00 12.00 If I extract 3 rows and 3 cols, I get : 1.00 2.00 3.00 7.00 8.00 9.00 Then fails, it wants to skip over the second line but there is nothing after 10 11 12 Why did it stop working ? What do I have wrong ? Please help, Thanks in advance.

  I am (finally) attempting to write some integration tests for my application (because every deploy is getting scarier). When the test runs, I am getting the error: The error occurred while evaluating nil.set_facebook_session. I believe that error is to be expected in a certain sense since I am not using Facebook here for this session. Can anyone provide any insight as to how to either get around this or at least help me out with what is going wrong?

I always have to switch to the shell and run 'setup.py test' or 'nosetests' manually. Is there a way to integrate this into netbenas 6.8?

• WCF Service Throttling

  Dear All I have a WCF Service Deployed in a Console App with BasicHTTPBinding and SSL enabled on port using NetSH command and more over following attribute is set as well. [AspNetCompatibilityRequirements(RequirementsMode = AspNetCompatibilityRequirementsMode.Allowed)] And also i have set the Throttling behavior as <serviceThrottling maxConcurrentCalls="2147483647" maxConcurrentSessions="2147483647" maxConcurrentInstances="2147483647" /> On the other hand i have created a Test Client(for load test) that initiates multiple clients simultaneously(multiple threads) and performs transactions on server. everything seems fine and working properly but on server the CPU utilization is doesn't grow so i added some logging to view the number of concurrent calls to the server and found that its never went over 6. i have reviewed the performance counter logging code more than twice and it seems fine to me. So i want to ask where is the problem in this situation and one more thing i haven't specified any kind of ContextMode or ConcurrencyMode yet. After this Post I noticed that whenever i start another Intance of Test Client my concurrent Server Calls counter increase to 2 like if i am running only 1 instance the maximum Concurrent Rcvd Calls will be 2 and if there are two instance the same value goes to 4 and so on. Is there any limit of Number of WCF Calls from once process? Looking for help Mubashar *Added on 17-March******************* Today i ran another test with one test client(with 50 concurrent users) on the same machine on which the server is running this time i am getting exact result what i wanted it to show i.e. Maximum concurrent Calls Rcvd by Server = 50 but i need to do it the same on others machines as well.   I've installed typesafe-stack from http://typesafe.com/stack/download on my ubuntu12, than I created a play project (g8 typesafehub/play-scala) and now I want to add scalatest or scalacheck to my project. I also tried using this in my plugins.sbt libraryDependencies += "org.scalatest" %% "scalatest" % "2.0.M1" % "test" but looks like it is completely ignored by sbt and scalatest.jar hasn't appeared in the classpath: my_app/test/AppTest.scala:1: object scalatest is not a member of package org [error] import org.scalatest.FunSuite because the output of sbt clean && sbt test has lots of Resolving org.easytesting#fest-util;1.1.6 or just another library, but nothing about scalatest.   I am using WatiN (2.0.10.928) with C# and Visual Studio 2008 to test a SSL secured website that requires a certificate. When you navigate to the homepage a "Choose a digital certificate" dialog is displayed and requires that you select a valid certificate and click the 'OK' button. I'm looking for a way to automate the certificate selection so that every time a new test or fixture is executed (and my browser restarts) I don't have to manually interfere with the automated test and select the certificate. I've tried using various WatiN Dialog Handler classes and even looked into using the Win32 API to automate this but haven't had much luck. I finally found a solution but its adds another dependency to the solution (a third party library called AutoIT). Since this solution isn't ideal but does work and is the best I could find, I will post the solution and mark it as the answer but I am still looking for an 'out of the box' WatiN solution that is more consistent with the rest of my code and test fixtures. If I remove the dollar sign it works. Is the "$" a special character? Is this a sqlcmd bug? How can I change the script to get the desired result.

I keep getting this error when I try to set a value: '[ setValue:forUndefinedKey:]: this class is not key value coding-compliant for the key test.' I have one key in the plist file. The key is named "test" and has no value associated with it. I set the value like this: [[PlistManager sharedManager].plist setValue:@"the title value" forKey:@"test"]; I look at the set plist dictionary and see this from within PlistManager: po self.plistDictionary { test = ""; } I get the error just as I'm leaving PlistManager in the debugger. • Administrator's shortcut to batch file with double quoted parameters

  Take an excruciatingly simple batch file: echo hi pause Save that as test.bat. Now, make a shortcut to test.bat. The shortcut runs the batch file, which prints "hi" and then waits for a keypress as expected. Now, add some argument to the target of the shortcut. Now you have a shortcut to: %path%\test.bat some args The shortcut runs the batch file as before. Now, run the shortcut as administrator. (This is on Windows 7 by the way.) You can use either right-click - Run as Administrator, or go to the shortcut's properties and check the box in the advanced section. Tell UAC that it's okay and once again the shortcut runs the batch file as expected. Now, change the arguments in the target of the shortcut to add double quotes: %path%\test.bat "some args" Now try the shortcut as administrator. It doesn't work this time! A command window pops up and and disappears too fast to see any error. I tried adding test.log 2&1 to the shortcut, but no log is created in this case. Try running the same shortcut (with the double quotes) but not as Administrator. It runs the batch file fine. So, it seems the behavior is not because of the double quoted parameters, and it's not because it's run as Administrator. It's some weird combination of the two. I also tried running the same command from an administrator's command window. This ran the batch file as expected without error. Running the shortcut from the command window spawned a new command window which flashed and went away. So apparently the issue is caused by a combination of administrator, the shortcut, and the double quotes. I'm totally stumped, does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Is there any method I need to invoke or interface I need to extend in order to ensure the data model is correctly updated? I am using this test case to address the issue that is appearing in a much more complex component, therefore I can't achieve the same functionality using a facelet composite component. For switch syntax, type "MSTest /help" WTF? Looks like PartCover doesn't handle spaces in the --target-args well. Or am I missing some quotes somewhere? Has anyone gotten something like to to work?

  Hi Guys, This will probably be a bot of a waffly question but ill try my best. I have a simple c++ program that i need to build testing for. I have 2 Classes i use besides the one i actually am using, these are called WebServer and BusinessLogicLayer. To test my own code i have made my own versions of these classes that feed dummy data to my class to test it functionality. I need to know a way of somehow, via a makefile for instance, how to tell the source code to use the test classes over the normally used classes. The test classes are in a different "tester" c++ file, and the tester c++ file also has its own header file. Regards Paul P.S. • How can I troubleshoot flash player/hardware conflict?

  OBJECTIVE: Have a web browser on my Ubuntu install that can play youtube and hulu videos. Also would like to understand problem so that I can fix it again if I change software. Workarounds welcome, technical understanding and solution preferable. SYMPTOMS: Flash does not run - cannot make the right-click menu appear, an empty box is where video should be, changes to black box when hovering over other links. The "The Adobe Flash plugin has crashed" message does not appear with its sad lego face. cannot activate proprietary graphics driver - causes system to reboot to a prompt. SOLUTIONS TRIED: Replaced OS (tried slackware 13.37, fedora 17, linuxmint 13 maya, gentoo, lubuntu, and even winXP. lubuntu confirmed to work, don't remember how much tweaking, if any, this required. Slack, fedora, mint, and gentoo all failed to run flash just like ubuntu) many reinstalls of flash player via different methods, including cleaning up old installs first, also tried gnash and lightspark. replaced graphics card (replaced HIS IceQ Radeon HD 4670 AGP with older GeForce 5700 LE no change in problem) flash does successfully work on winXP installation with Catalyst AGP hotfix driver applied, however I consider windows wholly unacceptable for web browsing due to lack of security. Lubuntu install also works, however I do not want to be tied down to just using Lubuntu on this computer. SYSINFO: Have latest versions of Ubuntu, Firefox, and Flash on fresh Ubuntu install. Using Gigabyte 7s748 motherboard with Athlon XP 2800+ and 3 GB of RAM with Radeon HD 4670 AGP card, also a Dell soundblaster live series sound card (due to malfunction of onboard sound on motherboard) Wired internet connection, Maxtor 6Y120L3 HDD, Sony DVD RW AW-Q170A, Dell M993s monitor. NOTES: I do not know if the graphics driver issue and the flash troubles are linked. Substitution of older graphics card having same flash troubles seems to suggest they aren't. My troubleshooting method is rather reductionist, consisting mainly of "replace things until you find out what was causing the error by process of elimination" only it seems that this must be a conflict which arises when software decides how to configure itself on my hardware. That is, I know the hardware can run Flash, and I know that on other systems the same software can too, but somehow the combination fails. Consequently I feel out of my depth. I will keep trying things off and on, but I have spent probably about 30 man-hours in the last 4 months working on this problem with no joy other than the lubuntu workaround. Any help will be appreciated, I will be checking back and posting updates. Any pertinent questions regarding me or my computer will be answered, outputs from config files can be accessed and posted (IDK which ones or what parts to post).

  I am missing something basic when it comes to using MEF. I got it working using samples and a simple console app where everything is in the same assembly. Then I put some imports and exports in a separate project which contains various entities. I want to use these entities in an MS Test, but the composition is never actually done. When I move the composition stuff into the constructor of an entity in question it works, but that's obviously wrong. Does GetExecutingAssembly only "see" the test process? What am I missing re containers? I tried putting the container in a Using in the test without luck. The MEF docs are still very scant and I can't find a simple example of an application (or MS Test) which uses entities from a different project...

Also - I can see that for a split second there is a .deb file in a folder. so it looks like alien create .deb and deletes it right away. I suspect that it's maybe because I run 64 bit os and package is 32? Can somebody explain why alien deletes .deb automatically? • Maven: compile aspectj project containing Java 1.6 source

  What I want to do is fairly easy. Or so you would think. However, nothing is working properly. Requirement: Using maven, compile Java 1.6 project using AspectJ compiler. Note: Our code cannot compile with javac. That is, it fails compilation if aspects are not woven in (because we have aspects that soften exceptions). Questions (based on failed attempts below): Either 1) How do you get maven to run the aspectj:compile goal directly, without ever running compile:compile? 2) How do you specify a custom compilerId that points to your own ajc compiler? Thanks for any and all suggestions. These are the things I've tried that have let to my problem/questions: Attempt 1 (fail): Specify aspectJ as the compiler for the maven-compiler-plugin: org.apache.maven.plugins maven-compiler-plugin 2.2 1.6 1.6 aspectj org.codehaus.plexus plexus-compiler-aspectj 1.8 This fails with the error: org.codehaus.plexus.compiler.CompilerException: The source version was not recognized: 1.6 No matter what version of the plexus compiler I use (1.8, 1.6, 1.3, etc), this doesn't work. I actually read through the source code and found that this compiler does not like source code above Java 1.5. Attempt 2 (fail): Use the aspectJ-maven-plugin attached to the compile and test-compile goals: org.codehaus.mojo aspectj-maven-plugin 1.3 1.6 1.6 compile test-compile This fails when running either: mvn clean test-compile mvn clean compile because it attempts to execute compile:compile before running aspectj:compile. As noted above, our code doesn't compile with javac--the aspects are required. So mvn would need to skip the compile:compile goal altogether and run only aspectj:compile. Attempt 3 (works but unnacceptable): Use the same configuration above but instead run: mvn clean aspectj:compile This works, in that it builds successfully but it's unacceptable in that we need to be able to run the compile goal and the test-compile goal directly (m2eclipse auto-build depends on those goals). Moreover, running it this way would require that we spell out every goal we want along the way (for instance, we need resources distributed and tests to be run and test resources deployed, etc)

  I'm trying to use the Django ORM in some standalone screen scraping scripts. I know this question has been asked before, but I'm unable to figure out a good solution for my particular problem. I have a Django project with defined models. What I would like to do is use these models and the ORM in my scraping script. My directory structure is something like this: project scrape #scraping scripts ... test.py web django_project settings.py ... #Django files I tried doing the following in project/scrape/test.py: print os.path.join(os.path.abspath('..'), 'web', 'django_project') sys.path.append(os.path.join(os.path.abspath('..'), 'web', 'django_project')) print sys.path print "-------" os.environ['DJANGO_SETTINGS_MODULE'] = 'django_project.settings' #print os.environ from django_project.myapp.models import MyModel print MyModel.objects.count() However, I get an ImportError when I try to run test.py: Traceback (most recent call last): File "test.py", line 12, in <module> from django_project.myapp.models import MyModel ImportError: No module named django_project.myapp.models One solution I found around this problem is to create a symbolic link to ../web/govcheck in the scrape folder: :scrape rmanocha$ ln -s ../web/govcheck ./govcheck With this, I can then run test.py just fine. However, this seems like a hack, and more importantly, is not very portable (I will have to create this symbolic link everywhere I run this code). So, I was wondering if anyone has any better solutions for my problem?
