For example, in a standard E-Commerce website, you might say that the Order is one, and the User is the other. But what if your Users belong to a Company? Does that make your Company the aggregate root? I'm interested in hearing people's approaches to working out the Aggregate roots, and how to identify poorly chosen aggregate roots.

And 1 table for each derived class. 3 tables have same columns. How can I create mapping file ignoring base class?     I'm implementing serial key functionality in my application. User needs to enter at least 64bit number in order to register the application. Because typing number like 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 will take a while I want to compress it a bit. The first guess was to code this number hexadecimally but it still is quite long (0x7FFF FFFF FFFF FFFF). Is there any standard method in .NET to code this number alphanumerically using for example: digits, upper-case and lower-case characters?

  • Allow IExtenderProvider control to attach to controls on a UserControl

    VB.NET 2.0 Framework I developed a control that implements IExtenderProvider in order to attach to controls and display a form for translating of the text of that control. This works great on regular controls on the form but the IExtenderProvider is not attaching to controls on UserControls, which makes sense. Is it possible to modify the UserControls or my IExtenderProvider control to enable it to attach to controls on a UserControl? Thanks!
