I have a two Calendar controls that when called upon, are partially invisible due to surrounding group boxes. this.grp_TransactionDetails.Controls.Add(this.cal_Ctrl); this.grp_TransactionDetails.Controls.Add(this.cal_Batch); Any ideas?     Hey I am having some issues while using Nggalley plugin for wordpress the plugin makes use of a JW player and JW player needs an XML - so it requests link like this http://nextgen-gallery.com/index.php?callback=imagerotator&gid=1&149 The lay &xxx really creaps me out couse I am using it for joomla and joomla doesn't like this I am assuming that this has to do with wordpress but still unsure. what does this ending of URL really mean? PS. I would never ever use wordpress plugin in joomla but my client uses and I have to fix it

    I've been using the $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"] environment variable to refer to the public root in my apps. Now I'm realizing that that's not very reliable. I'm thinking about an approach where I define a constant in my index.php based on a magic constant. Something like that: define("PUBILC", __DIR__); I'm not sure about it though. What approach would you recommend?

  • make local only daemon listening on different interface (using iptables port forwarding)?

    i have a daemon program which listens on 127.0.0.1:8000. i need to access it when i connect to my box with vpn. so i want it to listen on the ppp0 interface too. i've tried the "ssh -L" method. it works, but i don't think it's the right way to do that, having an extra ssh process running in the background. i tried the "netcat" method. it exits when the connection is closed. so not a valid way for "listening". i also tried several iptables rules. none of them worked. i'm not listing here all the rules i've used. iptables -A FORWARD -j ACCEPT iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i ppp+ -p tcp --dport 8000 -j DNAT --to-destination 127.0.0.1:8000 the above ruleset doesn't work. i have net.ipv4.ip_forward set to 1. anyone knows how to redirect traffic from ppp interface to lo? say, listen on "192.168.45.1:8000 (ppp0)" as well as "127.0.0.1:8000 (lo)" there's no need to alter the port. thanx

    I create my own FrameworkElement and override VisualChildrenCount{get;} and GetVisualChild(int index) by returning my own DrawingVisual collection instance.I have override OnRender . I will add 20-50 DrawingVisuals in this FrameworkElement ,every DrawingVisual will have 2000 line segments.The logic value of these points between 0 to 60000.when I zoom into 1:1 the FrameworkElement 's Height will be 60000, the rending time will be 15 minutes!! How do I improve the rending performance ?

    I just finished the Netbeans introduction to Hibernate tutorial ( http://netbeans.org/kb/docs/web/hibernate-webapp.html#01 ) and I am getting the following error: "This page calls for XML namespace declared with prefix br but no taglibrary exists" Now, I have seen a similar question somewhere else: http://forums.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5430327 but the answer is not listed there. Or, if it is, then I am clearly missing it -- line one of my index.xhtml file reads "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml". It also does not explain why, when I reload localhost:8080, the message disappears.   • Odd ActiveRecord model dynamic initialization bug in production

    I've got an ActiveRecord (2.3.5) model that occasionally exhibits incorrect behavior that appears to be related to a problem in its dynamic initialization. Here's the code: class Widget < ActiveRecord::Base extend ActiveSupport::Memoizable serialize :settings VALID_SETTINGS = %w(show_on_sale show_upcoming show_current show_past) VALID_SETTINGS.each do |setting| class_eval %{ def #{setting}=(val); self.settings[:#{setting}] = (val == "1"); end def #{setting}; self.settings[:#{setting}]; end } end def initialize_settings self.settings ||= { :show_on_sale => true, :show_upcoming => true } end after_initialize :initialize_settings # All the other stuff the model does end The idea was to use a single record field (settings) to persist a bunch of configuration data for this object, but allow all the settings to seamlessly work with form helpers and the like. (Why this approach makes sense here is a little out of scope, but let's assume that it does.) Net-net, Widget should end up with instance methods (eg #show_on_sale= #show_on_sale) for all the entires in the VALID_SETTINGS array. Any default values should be specified in initialize_settings. And indeed this works, mostly. In dev and staging, no problems at all. But in production, the app sometimes ends up in a state where a) any writes to the dynamically generated setters fail and b) none of the default values appear to be set - although my leading theory is that the dynamically generated reader methods are just broken. The code, db, and environment is otherwise identical between the three. A typical error message / backtrace on the fail looks like: IndexError: index 141145 out of string (eval):2:in []=' (eval):2:inshow_on_sale=' [GEM_ROOT]/gems/activerecord-2.3.5/lib/active_record/base.rb:2746:in send' [GEM_ROOT]/gems/activerecord-2.3.5/lib/active_record/base.rb:2746:inattributes=' [GEM_ROOT]/gems/activerecord-2.3.5/lib/active_record/base.rb:2742:in each' [GEM_ROOT]/gems/activerecord-2.3.5/lib/active_record/base.rb:2742:inattributes=' [GEM_ROOT]/gems/activerecord-2.3.5/lib/active_record/base.rb:2634:in `update_attributes!' ...(then controller and all the way down) Ideas or theories as to what might be going on? My leading theory is that something is going wrong in instance initialization wherein the class instance variable settings is ending up as a string rather than a hash. This explains both the above setter failure (:show_on_sale is being used to index into the string) and the fact that getters don't work (an out of bounds [] call on a string just returns nil). But then how and why might settings occasionally end up as a string rather than hash?

Now, all I can find is some mysql workbench which is only useful for designing data... Both programs I'm talking about allowed you to manage servers, create database, create tables, index, perform querys, edit data, etc... unfortunately I don't even recall there names...   • Is it dangerous to keep an admin page to administer your database?

    Hey guys I have an admin page that checks if you are admin before submitting any queries, and contains a header to the index page if you are not admin, but I am worried about protecting the page. I am concerned someone may be able to destroy my database with it. Does anyone have any recommendation into protecting a page like this, if not, should I just manually admin my database through phpmyadmin and delete the page all together?

  • iPhone SDK - Comparing characters in string

    Basically what I'm trying to do is compare 2 strings one from a plist and one from the user's input. I use a while loop to step through each character and compare it and if true then I increase an integer then once the loop has finished I work out the percentage correct / similarity of the plist answer and the user's answer. I seem to be having a problem however as the only return I'm getting is 0. Below is the code I'm using... The code below is all functioning and the question no longer requires answering... Was the fast view feature removed or am I missing something?     According to the Spring documentation, By default, the dm Server trace file is called $SERVER_HOME/serviceability/logs/dm-server/log_i.log ... The index i varies from 1 to 4, on a rolling basis, as each log file exceeds 10Mb. I'm aware that the default trace file name can be changed in server.config. Is it possible to change the number of log files that are kept before rolling over and/or the maximum log file size? How?
