I have a text box that the contents change on page reload, but what I was wondering is how to make it change after a specified amount of time. Is this possible without flash?
Hello all,
In my current application I want to show a songs list in table view which is pretty easy but on selection of one of the songs it should be played in any existing audio player in iPhone .
How can I do so .
Provide me if anyone have good tutorial or example link
Is there an API available for grabbing Google Streetview images at a particular location (and direction)? I see that its possible to get and position the Flash control, but I'd prefer something that just gave me a JPEG (or some other bitmap format).
I hear all this stuff about crazy ways to build iPhone apps using Ruby or C# under .NET or the like. Even stuff about developing apps on Windows using Java, or auto-generated apps using Flash CS5 or something.
Now, I've never really spent any time at all investigating these claims—I just brushed them off as clumsy or cumbersome or down-right claptrap—but I'm a proud Objective-C programmer who's perhaps a little worried as to whether there's any truth in all of this?
I have some custom media (special map points for example) I want to associate custom data player with it and place its instances in media library (so them to be accessible in media gallery), keeping possibility to edit it any time user wants to. how to do it?
Sorry for my Eng.Lang feel free to edit this Question.

I have been working on a HTML5 project and I recently noticed Opera 10.60 supports audio tag perfectly but not latest version of Opera (version 11.00 build 1156).
you may try with URL: http://moztw.org/demo/audioplayer/ with Opera 11.00. I can see the audio player without problem but it just doesn't play the music.
My HTML code is as simple as :-
<audio controls src="media/vincent.ogg" type="audio/ogg"></audio>
I am developing a Flex application that will need to 'pull' information from an ERP system such as SAP or Peoplesoft via the clients web service.
My application will need to pass credentials & query to a Query_URL and receive the returned data. I saw a Flash Builder 4 presentation where the Adobe evangelist created a similar application using Twitter.
Insights or links to example code would be appreciated.
Hello.
I am making my own crude MP3 player, and I now have a JList with which I have populated a number of files in the form of MP3 objects (displayed on frame using DefaultListModel).
I would now like to have the oppurtunity to save this JList to a file on disk. How would I go about doing this?
I'm very new with programming and Java, so help is greatly appreciated.
I have a some javascript that calls is calling for a popup (media player) to load. That works But I want the parent page to close or not even appear to have opened. This works great in Firefox.
Code is:
window.open("radio.html","Levante_Radio_Live","width=323,height=281,scrollbars=no,menubar=no,location=no",);
window.close();
The argument to my method func() must implement the two unrelated interfaces IFoo and IBar. Is there a better way of doing this than declaring another interface only for this purpose that inherits from IFoo and IBar and using that interface as the argument type?
public interface IFooBar implements IFoo, IBar {
}
public function func(arg:IFooBar):void {
}
I'm developing for FlashPlayer 9.
Relating to this question, http://stackoverflow.com/questions/117810/upload-files-directly-to-amazon-s3-from-asp-net-application, is there any way to do this and have a progress bar?
---- EDIT ----
Two days later and still no luck with a direct way. Found one thing that looks promising but not free: http://www.flajaxian.com/
Uses flash to upload directly to S3 with a progress bar.
I've just started to work with DoubleClick Studio. I've successfully created a Flash expanding ad with CS4 that is mostly scripted and uses the Document class option.
Now for some reason the back end of DoubleClick Studio thinks I've imported the Enabler component twice.
I've checked my files numerous of times but can't find the root cause.
Any help is much appreciated :)
Hi,
I'm trying to build a website that will allow user to upload video files and show them as a streaming video.
I'm a complete newbie in the streaming world so I don't know exactly how to do that, and I definitely don't want to reinvent the wheel.
Are there any free platforms that I can use for that? Do I need a streaming server, or is there a special kind of player I can use that does not require dedicated server?
Thanks!
I am trying to block all default methods except create and update in my users controller using declerative_authorization. But at the time I add filter_resource_access or filter_access_to into my usersController i always get "Couldn't find User without an ID". Anyone care to explain why this could be happening?
class UsersController :new
end
end
def show
@user = @current_user
end
def edit
@user = @current_user
end
def update
@user = @current_user # makes our views "cleaner" and more consistent
if @user.update_attributes(params[:user])
flash[:notice] = "Account updated!"
redirect_to account_url
else
render :action = :edit
end
end
end
I would like to flash a success message on my page.
I am using the jQuery fadeOut method to fade and then remove the element. I can increase the duration to make it last longer, however this looks strange.
What I would like to happen is have the element be displayed for five seconds, then fade quickly, and finally be removed.
How can you animate this using jQuery?
I use AVAudioPlayer to play an mp3 file to a user within my iPhone app. This all works fine and dandy. I even update a PLAY/PAUSED button depending on the state of the player. But it would be nice to know how much longer the song will play.
So How do I show the time remaining?
I've decided to teach myself C# by writing a music player in Visual Studio 2010. I went with WPF because from what I hear it sounds like it will be a good base to skin from.
I want to program my window with the behavior where if the window comes to the edge of a screen (within 10px or so) it will snap to the screen edge. What's the best way to go about this?
Hi,
Is there any good control or plug-in for uploading multiple photos with preview? As far as I understand it is impossible to preview photo on local computer using just JavaScript. So it has to use Flash or Java.
Thanks, also, I use ASP.NET.
Say I had a file like... http://my.website.com/myfile.raw
and this file was just raw bytes, representing an intensity image. Is it possible to grab this data and read the bytes in JavaScript? And then using it with HTML 5 canvas (e.g., putImageData) to draw an image?
Or is there some other way to do this in the browser without Java or Flash?
Ptterb can you post your full code please?
I copied your code.
Added fvidscale_cap to pipeline, with:
self.player.add(self.source, self.scaler, self.fvidscale_cap, self.sink)
gst.element_link_many(self.source,self.scaler, self.fvidscale_cap, self.sink)
From the main program I create a new QWidget, and pass its winId() to Vid constructor.
The widget start loading, but crashes.
The output says:
should be playing
Segmentation fault
I have made a flashLike button with jquery via this code:
$(document).ready(function() {
$('#navigation li a').append('<span class="hover"></span>').each(function () {
var $span = $('span.hover', this).css('opacity', 0);
$(this).hover(function () {
$span.stop().fadeTo(500, 1);
}, function () {
$span.stop().fadeTo(500, 0);
});
});
});
But can we add sound to button in hover like flash buttons?
Thanks in advance
