    I read that with .NET Framework 4 the current garbage collection implementation is replaced: The .NET Framework 4 provides background garbage collection. This feature replaces concurrent garbage collection in previous versions and provides better performance. At this page there is an explanation how it works but I am not sure I understood it. In practical world application what is the benefit of this new GC implementation? Is it a feature that could be use to push for a transition from 3.5 or previous to 4.0?

  • Is it possible to see the source code of the violating files in Hudson with Violations and Pylint?

    I'm using Hudson CI with a Python project. I've installed the Violations plugin and configured it to run the code against pylint. This works, but I only see a list of violations without linking to the source code. Is it possible to setup Violations and pylint to load and highlight the violating source files (something similar to the Cobertura Coverage Reports)? Better yet, can Violations integrate with pep8.py?

Is there a better way of writing this SQL?

    So I was thinking about languages the other day, and it struck me that any program written in a compiled language that interacts with the Internet is then translated into assembly that has to interact with the Internet. I've just begun learning a bit of x86 assembly to help me understand C++ a bit better, and I'm baffled by how something so low-level could do something like access the Internet.     Hi, I have a server that I have no control over, it's JSON based and I've put together a simple proof of concept that calls the server using HTTPWebRequest etc and it works fine (if a little wordy since MS have removed all Synchronous I/O calls). Is there a better way of doing this? I've been looking at WCF as an option but any stable and reasonably performant library should do the job. This is a new area for me so I'm a little unsure what the best practice is (or where to find it out) Thanks in advance Dave

However my result have been decrease to: New result = 85.4015% Correctly Instances = 117 Incorrectly instances = 20 Total of instances = 137 Is there any reason for that? Should my result become much better after i do the visualize classifier error?
