  • Infinite loop when adding CATiledLayer to UIView

    I have a UIView in which I add a CATiledLayer and implement 'drawLayer'. If I use a UIViewController and add the layer to a new subview of the controller, then everything is ok.   • Magento with Mailchimp -----adding checkboxes programmatically

    Hi there, I have just created a mailchimp account and I have one question. I'm quite new to mailchimp. In my customer dashboard (of magento) i want to create a list subscribe form. Now I have a list of checkboxes that i run using a for next loop. I want to put these checkboxes in my mailchimp form and according to what the customer choices, the mailchimp list is updated. Ex. I have various categories (Apparel, furniture etc) these are set up from Magento backend and they have to be dynamic. These checkboxes are set up in a table. In Mailchimp I want to create user lists or one list with a group containing sub categories, that are created by my Magento code. I was wondering if this is possible.     I am using this jQuery plugin for star ratings: http://orkans-tmp.22web.net/star_rating/ Everything is going great, including using AJAX, etc. The problem is that I need to have many per page and can't quite figure out how to work with the selectors to achieve this. I think this is probably very easy for someone who knows their jQuery... Here's some code below... There are multiple kids per page, and I need one rating widget for each kid.   • Java webapp: adding a content-disposition header to force browsers "save as" behavior

    Even though it's not part of HTTP 1.1/RFC2616 webapps that wish to force a resource to be downloaded (rather than displayed) in a browser can use the Content-Disposition header like this: Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=FILENAME Even tough it's only defined in RFC2183 and not part of HTTP 1.1 it works in most web browsers as wanted. So from the client side, everything is good enough. However on the server-side, in my case, I've got a Java webapp and I don't know how I'm supposed to set that header, especially in the following case... I'll have a file (say called "bigfile") hosted on an Amazon S3 instance (my S3 bucket shall be accessible using a partial address like: files.mycompany.com/) so users will be able to access this file at files.mycompany.com/bigfile. Now is there a way to craft a servlet (or a .jsp) so that the Content-Disposition header is always added when the user wants to download that file? What would the code look like and what are the gotchas, if any?

  • Prolog: How to make three lists the same lenght (by adding leading zeros)

    I am writing a prolog program to solve a problem. The problem takes three lists as input: solve( [L|Lr] , [R|Rr] , [S|Sr] ) :- Unfortunately the lists all need to be equal length for the program to work. So these work: ?- solve( [A, B, C, D] , [1, 3, 5, 6], [E, F, G, H]). ?- solve( [1] , [2], [3]). But these do not: ?- solve( [A, B, C, D], [1], [B, I, T] ). ?- solve( [A], [1, 2], [4, 5]). What I would like to do is write a predicate(?) to pad the smaller lists with leading zeros. So: solve( [A, B, C, D], [1], [B, I, T] ) would become: solve( [A, B, C, D], [0, 0, 0, 1], [0, B, I, T] ) Any points on how to accomplish this would be awesome. I am from a functional background so I am struggling. Is there a way tell the length of a list? I think I could do that recursively, but it seems like a pain. Thanks

    In my WPF application there is a listbox with items. The listbox is populated via a xmldataprovider from XAML and then binding it to Itemssource property of the listbox. Well, from XAML, I bind a comand to the listbox by doing: <ListBox.CommandBindings> <CommandBinding Command="{x:Static local:mainApp.MyCmd}" CanExecute="CanExecute" Executed ="Executed" /> </ListBox.CommandBindings> but I don't know how to programatically bind a command to each listboxitem.     Guys, I have a webpage that has a Telerik RadComboBox on the page. One of the properties of this ComboBox is EmptyMessage, which fills the combobox with a message when an item is not selected. I am binding my combobox to a datasource at runtime and for some reason, it wipes this EmptyMessage away. Is there a way to keep my data items in tact and have the empty message there too? And default it to the empty message?

  • Adding audio channel using ffmpeg

    Hi all, I am working on ffmpeg and trying to add a audio stream on the fly. I am using AudioQueues and I get raw audio buffer. I am encoding audio with linear PCM and hence the audio I get will be of raw format, which I know ffmpeg does accept it. But I cannot figure out how. I have looked into AVStream, where in we have to create a new stream for this audio channel but how do I encode it to a video which is already initialized in another AVStream structure. Overall, I would like to have an idea of the architecture of ffmpeg. I found it difficult to work since it is least documented. Any pointers or details are appreciated.   • adding an existing implementation file to an xcode project won't work

    As I write most of my code using MacVIM, I need to add the new files to the XCode project in order to compile them into the executable. Today however I encoutered an implementation file (.m) wich XCode won't allow to be added. It appears light gray the appropriate finder window as if it were already included in the project, but when I try to build, I get a linker error, stating that the symbol defined this implementation file could not be found. The corresponding header file could be added without problems. Any idea what could have caused this problem? Btw. I deleted a former version of the same file from the "Classes" tree before, as well as many others wich were successfully re-added. Thanks in advance.

    Good day to all; I'm developing a program using JSF2 and JPA2 (OpenJPA). Im also using IBM Rapid App Dev't v8 with WebSphere App Server v8 test server. I have two simple entities, Employee and Department. Each Department has many Employees and each Employee belongs to a Department (using deptno and workdept). My problem occurs when i tried to add a new employee and selecting a department from a combo box (using selectOneMenu - populated from Department table): when i run the program, the following error messages appeared: An Error Occurred: java.lang.NullPointerException Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException - java.lang.NullPointerException I also tried to make another program using Deptno and Workdept as String instead of integer, still doesn't work.   • Adding & Removing Dynamic Controls in C# WinForms.

    I have three Tabs in my WinForm; depending on the selected RaioButton in the TabPages[0] I added few dynamic controls on the relevant TabPage. On Button_Click event the controls are added, but the prob is the I'm not able to remove the Dynamically added controls from the other (irrelevant) TabPage.
