    I'm trying to use Poco C++ library to do the simple http requests in C++ on Mac OS X 10.8.2. I installed Poco, copy-pasted the http_request.cc code from this tutorial, ran it with 'g++ -o http_get http_get.cc -lPocoNet', but got: Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64: "Poco::StreamCopier::copyStream(std::basic_istream<char, std::char_traits<char> >&, std::basic_ostream<char, std::char_traits<char> >&, unsigned long)", referenced from: _main in ccKuZb1g.o "Poco::URI::URI(char const*)", referenced from: _main in ccKuZb1g.o "Poco::URI::~URI()", referenced from: _main in ccKuZb1g.o "Poco::URI::getPathAndQuery() const", referenced from: _main in ccKuZb1g.o "Poco::URI::getPort() const", referenced from: _main in ccKuZb1g.o "Poco::Exception::displayText() const", referenced from: _main in ccKuZb1g.o "typeinfo for Poco::Exception", referenced from: GCC_except_table1 in ccKuZb1g.o ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64 collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Have been struggling with this for couple of hours. So let's say I have a table like this: CREATE TABLE sal_emp ( a text ARRAY, b text ARRAY, c text ARRAY, ); These are my arrays: $a = array(aa,bb,cc); $b = array(dd,dd,aa); $c = array(bb,ff,ee); and I want to insert them into respective column each like this: a | b | c -----------+------------+------------ {aa,bb,cc} | {dd,dd,aa} | {bb,ff,ee} Can I insert it this way? $a = implode(',', $a); $b = implode(',', $b); $c = implode(',', $c); $a = array('a' => $a, 'b' => $b, 'c' => $c); pg_insert($dbconn, 'table', $a); Or is there a better way to achieve the same result?

    I don't even know the proper terminology for this lisp syntax, so I don't know if the words I'm using to ask the question, make sense. But the question makes sense, I'm sure. So let me just show you. cc-mode (cc-fonts.el) has things called "matchers" which are bits of code that run to decide how to fontify a region of code. That sounds simple enough, but the matcher code is in a form I don't completely understand, with babckticks and comma-atsign and just comma and so on, and furthermore it is embedded in a c-lang-defcost, which itself is a macro. And I want to run edebug on that code. (Only Display Rows 1,3) Ive tried to use MAX on the date and group by clause, but it combines rows, 2 & 3 together showing both the highest value of dateIn and dateOut. Any help will be appreciated.

    Can anyone help me with this major issue I have. I have downloaded my Drupal 7 site running fine on current server, but I cant run it on localhost or on the new server where I am trying to move it... It just gives me the "White Screen of Death"... and after commenting "set_error_handler" in boostrap.inc, I find out that the errors are all related to "public://" wrapper.     Not sure why my code is defaulting to this elif. But it's never getting to the else statement. Even going as far as throwing index out of bound errors in the last elif. Please disregard my non use of regex. It wasn't allowed for this homework assignment. The problem is the last elif before the else statement. SetIter.cpp - gets a set and uses a pointer to iterator through I'm confused with some of the depencies arising from the friends thing and the point of lib.o being included in the Makefile as some sites have.     I've created a link in Sharepoint using the Content Editor Web Part. My link uses html to open up an email with the fields to, cc, subject, and body filled out. However, in the cc section I need a number sign (#) for a mailbox. When I use the html code & #35;(minus the space) my entire code crumbles. Everything starting at the "&" disappears. However, just for kicks I tried & pound;(minus the space) and the code works for a european pound sign. Not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?

    Hi all. I have a make build system that I am trying to decipher that someone else wrote. I am getting an error when I run it on a redhat system, but not when I run it on my solaris system. The versions of gmake are the same major revision (one off on minor revision). Basically self explanatory from the names. Now as best I can tell, this is generating in /lib/deps a .d file that has the object and source dependencies in it. In other words, for the utilities.a library, I will get a utils.o and utils.c dependency stack, all in the file utils.d There is some syntax error that is being generated in that file I think, because I get the following error: ../lib/deps/util.d:25: *** target pattern contains no '%'. Stop. gmake[2]: *** [all] Error 2 gmake[1]: *** [all] Error 2 gmake: *** [all] Error 2 I am not sure if my error is in the dependency generation, or some further down part, like the object generation target? [Perhaps it works differently for Google ? in my code, I must include it] That will result in circular dependency... Am I missing something ?

    I have a problem, I want to use local::lib; in a script. But because I need to use this script many places, I don't want to try adding the eval to bashrc, every time I install this script to a server. and I can't get local::lib installed globally (in the default @INC) on the servers. Is there any way I can use local::lib from within the script so that it knows where the module local::lib is without the eval that local::lib recommends and without installing it into a directory in the default @INC on the server?

    Hi, I have the following file structure: C:/wamp/myproject/admin/webroot/images I have an index.php file lying inside the admin folder which calls a header.inc.php file lying in the same folder. header.inc.php has the following code- <td align="left" valign="top" class="header-bg"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> index.php calls a css file (css.css) through the following code: <link href="<?php echo (WS_DIR_CSS); ?>/css.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> The css lies in the following location: C:/wamp/myproject/admin/webroot/css The css files has a class which has the following code: .header-bg { background:url(../images/header_bg.jpg) left top repeat-x; height:77px; } The image header_bg.jpg is not being displayed in the browser. Help anyone?

    I'm having an issue running WatiN under CruiseControl.net, where on a .forceclose, watin is closing all open browser instances. I have multiple projects running under cruisecontrol, and its not uncommon for some of those projects to be building and testing at the same time. There has been more than one occasion where watin will close the browser window for a different project, causing it to fail. In my local tests, creating my watin instance under a new process fixes this issue. But running under cruisecontrol, when doing this, I lose my IE object: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Running CC.net as a service CC.Net server is Windows 2003 IE6 Any thoughts?

    Hello, I have a bash script that I want to change all occurrences of jdk1.5.0_14 with jdk1.6.0_20 in a file I have the following piece of code : #!/bin/bash myvar="jdk1.6.0_20" sed "s/jdk1.*/$myvar/g" answer_file.1 > answer_file.2 However I have the following information in answer_file.1 (pasting the relevant part): JDKSelection.directory.JDK_LIST=/usr/jdk/jdk1.5.0_14 (v. 1.5.0_14 by Sun Microsystems Inc.) JDKSelection.directory.HIDDEN_JDK=/usr/jdk/jdk1.5.0_14 The code above changes the occurence of jdk1.5.0_14 to jdk1.6.0_20 but also removes the information contained in paranthesis in the first line. So after the change, I need the answer_file.2 file look like this: JDKSelection.directory.JDK_LIST=/usr/jdk/jdk1.6.0_20 (v. 1.6.0_20 by Sun Microsystems Inc.) JDKSelection.directory.HIDDEN_JDK=/usr/jdk/jdk1.6.0_20 How can I achieve this? Thanks for your answers....

  • WAMP & WordPress - Having issues after installing plugins

    I am using WAMP (Apache 2.2.17, PHP 5.4.3) & WordPress 3.4.2. Everything was fine until I started to add and activate plugins now I get different sort of errors on the front-end/Admin e.g. "Notice: Undefined index: plugin_version in C:\repo\wpdev\wp-content\plugins\wp-rss-multi-importer\inc\upgrade.php on line 11" And "Warning: Illegal string offset 'feedslug' in C:\repo\wpdev\wp-content\plugins\wp-rss-multi-importer\inc\rss_feed.php on line 21." IF I deactivate the plugins everything seems to be fine. I have installed WAMP & WP 2X. The plugins work fine on MediaTemple. The error messages vary depending on the plugins. Search Google and came up empty. Thanks in advance.

I think this isn't the expected behaviour.

  • Undefined reference to "func" when compiled with GCC

    I implement a link list in two files in linklist.h and linklist.c, and I call some functions defined in linklist.h in main function of main.c. linklist.h is included in both linklist.c and main.c. When I compile this program by GCC with Makefile, the error named "undefined reference to xxx" occurs. I think my Makefile is written correctly as below. So what is the possible reason for this linking error CC=gcc CFLAGS= -g -O2 TARGET=target OBJECTS=main.o linklist.o TARGET: $(OBJECTS) $(CC) $(CFLAGS) $(OBJECTS) -o $(TARGET) clean: rm target $(OBJECTS) main.o:linklist.h linklist.o:linklist.h
