    Hi There, It seems like I cannot do anything with my PHP script on my VPS. It returns 'Permission denied' when I try to upload something to a directory.   • Can't Mount Databases in the Recovery Storage Group in Exchange 2003

    After restoring some mail stores, mounting them in the recovery storage group errors out. So far a repair with eseutil (which the log says was successful) and a server reboot has been tried. A defrag is currently running on the mail store I need to go through this again to post the exact error codes, so I will be updating this question. But I thought someone who does this a lot might have a "More times than not..." answer in the meantime.

    I'm trying to create a way of opening a set of project files in multiple apps, using Alfred. I know about the File Group extension in the powerpack (I have this), but as far as I can see, there's a limitation in that it only opens the files with the default app. My usage case is this: Open a .html file with Chrome Open the same .html file with MacVim Anyone know a way around this? Maybe an applescript is more what I'd need?

  • Can't re-open "Group My Tabs" page after killing Firefox

    Due to memory problems I closed Firefox whilst the Group My Tabs (Ctrl+e) feature was displaying the multiple tab groups. After 20 minutes the process still hadn't finished so killall firefoxed it. When I restart Firefox, there is a Javascript process called tabview.js that hangs unless I click Stop at the warning screen. If I do hit Stop then I can no longer open the tabview, so I can't get to any of the tabs except in the subgroup I was last looking at. Any suggestions?

All users home directory's are /home/USER I was wondering: What usergroup should users be in; or should they have their own usergroups()? What user and group should Apache run under? What file permissions should the users /home/USER/public_html and /home/USER directory's be, as well as subsequent files (including such PHP files w/ sensitive information such as DB passwords) Thanks :)

    So, when user logs in to their workstation, they receive SIDs of groups they are members of, and this is used for the length of the session, until logging off. Is there a way to refresh membership SIDs information without actually having to log off and log on again? I've added myself to a group, but can't log off without interrupting running process that requires these permissions. Don't want to have to go through these steps again...

    Having realised my own reasons were way too dubious, I've now gone about this a different way. But I'm still curious... For reasons of nostalgia, familiarity and laziness, I'm coding a UI with MFC. For dubious reasons (as if those were not enough), I wanted to add a (double-)click event to a group box. Naturally, the group box contains things - in fact, it contains another static item, to which I can successfully add a (double-)click event handler. Is there any reason I cannot get an event handler to work for clicks on my group box the same way I can do that for the simple text static item? No amount of clicking on, in or near the control fires the event. Note - I've read through http://www.codeproject.com/KB/static/staticctrl_tut.aspx and tried responding to both ON_STN_... events and ON_BN_... messages, setting the notify style (BS_NOTIFY appears in the rc file)... and still I'm missing something - what is it? Is it even possible? Most of what I've googled suggests it is... but without clear answers for C++/MFC. Since first posting this question, I've found reference to a WM_NCHITTEST message, and hints that you have to create a handler for this message to override the group box default behaviour of responding with HT_TRANSPARENT... despite having its transparent property in ClassWizard set to false. Hmmm. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the key?

    I want to create a display group generated from foreach() clause output. I can't seem to get the syntax correct. Here's the business logic: for each category row find the associated fees output the category description as a label and the fees as radio buttons then create a display group with the fees as the group elements and the category description as the legend. So I would have one ItemID 23 with 7 Routes on it where those routes are the first element of that given GUID Routes List.     Hi, I wonder if someone can help me out on this: I'm writing some code to copy a set of contacts received through a web application into the Address Book. I want to put all these new contacts under a certain group. My code successfully creates the group and adds the contacts into the address book. However, the 'ABGroupAddMember' operation fails. It fails without an error and the result it returns is true, meaning that according to the debugger the contact should have been added to the group. However, this does not work. The portion of my loop code that adds the contact to the address book and then assigns it to the group is this: ABAddressBookAddRecord(addressBook,person, &anError); ABAddressBookSave(addressBook,&anError); ABGroupAddMember(fusionLiveGroupRef,person, &anError); ABAddressBookSave(addressBook,&anError); All references are valid. No errors are returned. All operations return true. What is going wrong?

  • ldap login form works, but need to add active-directory group access

    I created a form that asks you to log in, then verifies the user/pass against the ldap server/active-directory, if successful, it creates a session, which will be checked on every page. Now I want to check the session, which is the username of the person who is logged in, and do a search for them using ldap_search, so I can check what group they belong to and pass that group thru a function to verify that they can view that page. Each page will accessible to a certain group or groups of users, which those groups are defined within Active Directory. I am unsure on how I can do that using ldap_search, or maybe that is just one piece of the puzzle I am trying to solve. Any help is appreciated - thank you!
