• Empty white space between the 2 images

  I have placed 2 images side by side in a div besides input box "Search by Contact". In the browser I find there is a gap between the 2nd image(Button T) and the one on its left.   Hello, I'm looking for suggestion on how to get the DB to auto generate Ticket numbers (preferably via the SQL DB) for a varchar column. I have the following tables in the DB: Activities & Cases and would prefer the format to be "Act000001" or "Cse000001". This would be something similar to the identity column property. I find that I am not able to classify what sort of concurrency model erlang exposes.   I am attempting to to use python to gain some performance on a task that can be highly parallelized using http://docs.python.org/library/multiprocessing. When looking at their library they say to use chunk size for very long iterables. Now, my iterable is not long, one of the dicts that it contains is huge: ~100000 entries, with tuples as keys and numpy arrays for values. How would I set the chunksize to handle this and how can I transfer this data quickly? Thank you.

• How significant are JPA lazy loading performance benefits?

  I understand that this is highly specific to the concrete application, but I'm just wondering what's the general opinion, or at least some personal experiences on the issue. I have an aversion towards the 'open session in view' pattern, so to avoid it, I'm thinking about simply fetching everything small eagerly, and using queries in the service layer to fetch larger stuff. Has anyone used this and regretted it? And is there maybe some elegant solution to lazy loading in the view layer that I'm not aware of?
