  • How can I confirm that burn process was completed successfully??

    Just now I tried to make a duplicate copy of my Windows XP Pro SP3 CD. I had set 32X speed while the max speed allowed is 48X. And checked "Verify the Data after burning". I didn't observe how much % did it complete. But after 15 mins (which is sufficient period to burn disc), I heard "Fatal Error" sound. When I saw the monitor, There was a message box which was showing "Error while burning Disc", I saved the error log which you can find here click_me. How do I acknowledge that burning process is done?? Well. my PC is able to read the CD and CD is bootable too.. I am not sure .. whether the burning process got failed or the verify Process! Please let me know if you have come across or aware of such situation .. As it is XP installation CD .. I don't want to do trial and error method. regards,

  • How to boost system sound output?

    When I use Earphones, I feel that my system output is very low, I have set all the volume output to maximum in "control panel\Sounds and Audio devices", but still not satisfactory. May be my earphones output proportionality is lower. No problem with sub-woofer, I think its because of the amplifier. Is there any software to boost up system volume output to compensate ?

I've been a programmer for over 16 years, and the last 12-14 professionally, at companies big and small. So this made me think of this question: What's the difference between a software engineer and an enterprise software engineer?     For instance, would Python be a more ergonomic programming language since it doesn't force you to make curly braces which requires the AltGr key. Also Python usually requires less code to achieve the same or am I being biased towards Python and PHP actually is an ergonomical and comfortable language despite forcing the programmer to use the AltGr key? Isn't forcing the programmer to use the AltGr key not very ergonomical?

  • Extending the SketchFlow player

    I would like to add some controls to the SketchFlow player. For example, I would like to add a combo box with a list of values for a specific variable, and selecting a value will make a specific screen/state show up in the SketchFlow player canvas. Is this possible? I have seen that using the PlayerContext allows access to some controls/events in the Player, but I am not sure how extensible the Player itself is.
