  Hi, I want to find IP address in an application. I am able to find it. But, problem is, it works fins in iphone os 2.0 or so.   Hey guys, It is really frustrating me. I used the doc provided by Navigon itself. Unfortunately it doesn't work as expected. Navigon launches, but stops at the main menu.   Hey guys, How can I figure out which word is at the point where the user tapped on a UIWebView? I am able to detect the CGPoint for the tap (subclassing UIWindow like this), and I can actually get the DOM element on that point using javascript. But I know very little of javascript and DOM to figure out how can I actually get which word the user tapped on. Is that possible?   I'm using NSXMLParser in my RootViewController.m file. My question is: If I have the following implementation files (& their header files): RootViewController.m XMLDelegate1.m XMLDelegate2.m and set the ith NSXMLParser delegate to be XMLDelegatei.m, and get those files to return an NSDictionary that I can then add to the NSDictionary defined in RootViewController.m. I guess there are two methods of doing this: Use a method that I don't know about; or Use a better workflow I suspect it's 2, but hope it's 1. Thanks, Andy

  Was about to finally submit an app when I realized that the youtube videos I'm playing play from the iPhone, but not the iPad.   I am really puzzeled by this one. I have set up two UIActionSheets in my application. They work perfectly fine until you use the cancel button in the UIActionSheets. • How to add "loading" screen for UIWebView app each time new page is being loaded?

  I have an app that works with tabs and webview. I already have it setup to refresh the page assigned to a tab each time the item on tabbar is selected. My problem now is that it takes some time to load the page and it's impossible to say if the page being displayed is the old or refreshed one. What I want to do is add a "loading" screen (a simple image) which will be displayed until the refreshed page is loaded.   Hello, when I have the fallowing code to read a binary file: NSString* file = [NSString stringWithUTF8String:fileName]; NSString* filePath = resource ? [[NSBundle mainBundle] pathForResource:file ofType:nil] : [[NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSDocumentDirectory, NSUserDomainMask, YES) objectAtIndex:0] stringByAppendingPathComponent: file]; NSData* fileData = [NSData dataWithContentsOfFile:filePath]; Where "fileName" and resource are load function parameters. "resource" is used to know if the file is located in application bundle or in Documents. Sometimes this code works well and sometimes it doesn't. As far I saw this problem is random. I can run the code 10 times in a row and it works fine and after that it gives me nil data without any modification. Does anybody knows what could be the problem? Could it be related with file extension or file name? Thank you. PS: I use this code on iPhone Simulator and the file exists in application bundle.
