    Hi, I have this HTML: <div id="mytabs"> <ul id="main-tabs"> <li><a href="">Link</a></li> <li><a href="">Link</a></li> <li class="filter"> <ul id="filter-controls"> <li><a href="">Filter by something</a></li> <li><a href="">Filter by something</a></li> <li><a href="">Filter by something</a></li> </ul> </li> </ul> </div> And I set it to a tabbed control: $('#mytabs').tabs(); My problem is jQuery UI also converts the <li> elements in <ul id="filter-controls"> into tabs. Is there a way to instruct jQuery UI to only set the <li> children of <ul id="main-tabs"> as the tabs? Note: I am currently in no position to change <ul id="filter-controls" into a non-ul element.

    In page one, $add_id2=implode(',',$add_id); //result is 1,4 $item_type2=implode(',',$item_type_2); //result is 8,16 $final_total2=implode(',',$final); //result is 150,430 I pass these values via URL to the page two and store them in session. $_SESSION['cart'][$car]= array ('car'=>$car, 'loc_1'=>$location, array ( 'addon_id'=>$a_id, 'item_type'=>$item_type2, 'final_total'=>$final_t ) ); I call them like this, foreach($_SESSION['cart'] as $cart=>$things) { //display main array value like car id and location id echo $cart; foreach($things as $thing_1=>$thing_2) { foreach($thing_2['addon_id'] as $thi_2=>$thi_4) { //to display addons item for the car id //this is the id for each addon under the above car //echo $thi_2; //this is to echo addon id $thi_4; } } } The above loop works . the addon items array loops through inside main array which is car. If there were two addon items chosen then the addon array will loop twice. Now al I need to do is, How to make $item_type2 and $final_total2 display the value according to the addon id? PS: Same addon items can be chosen multiple times. They are identified uniquely by id(//echo $thi_2;). Thanks.

However, if I use _tmain: int _tmain(int argc, char *argv[]) { cout << "There are " << argc << " arguments:" << endl; // Loop through each argument and print its number and value for (int i=0; i<argc; i++) cout << i << " " << argv[i] << endl; return 0; } It just displays the first character of each argument. What is the difference causing this?

    Hello! I have these 2 tables, Medication containing: IDMedication, IDCategory, Name, and Supplier, containing: IDSupplier, Name. I want to automatically create a relationship table, MedicationSupplier, containing: IDMedication and IDSupplier as keys, Price, and Quantity. My idea was to have a main page where i request the following data: (Medication)Name, IDCAtegory, (Supplier)Name, Price, Quantity. I'm not sure if i'm doing the right thing here. So this is what i'm receiveing in the .php where i do the insert: $Denumire=$_POST['Denumire']; //Medication Name $IDCategorie=$_POST['IDCategorie']; //IDCategory $Nume=$_POST['Nume']; //Supplier Name $Pret=$_POST['Pret']; //Price $Stoc=$_POST['Stoc']; //Quantity And this is my insert: $q_produse = "INSERT INTO produse VALUES ('','$IDCategorie','$Denumire')"; $q_prodfurniz = "INSERT INTO produsfurnizor VALUES ('','$IDFurnizor','$Pret','$Stoc')"; mysql_query($q_produse) or die($error); mysql_query($q_prodfurniz) or die($error); mysql_close(); My main problem at the moment is that i don't know how to insert IDMedication in the relationship table.     Originally posted on: http://geekswithblogs.net/jkrebsbach/archive/2014/08/11/unity-dontdestroyonload-causing-scenes-to-stay-open.aspxMy Unity project has a class (ClientSettings) where most of the game state & management properties are stored.  Among these are some utility functions that derive from MonoBehavior.  However, between every scene this object was getting recreated and I was losing all sorts of useful data.  I learned that with DontDestroyOnLoad, I can persist this entity between scenes.  Super.Persisting information between scenesThe problem with adding DontDestroyOnLoad to my "ClientSettings" was suddenly my previous scene would stay alive, and continue to execute its update routines.  An important part of the documentation helps shed light to my issues:"If the object is a component or game object then its entire transform hierarchy will not be destroyed either."My ClientSettings script was attached to the main camera on my first scene.  Because of this, the Main Camera was part of the hierarchy of the component, and therefore was also not able to destroy when switching scenes.  Now the first scene's main camera Update routine continues to execute after the second scene is running - causing me to have some very nasty bugs.Suddenly I wasn't sure how I should be creating a persistent entity - so I created a new sandbox project and tested different approaches until I found one that works:In the main scene: Create an empty Game Object:  "GameManager" - and attach the ClientSettings script to this game object.  Set any properties to the clientsettings script as appropriate.Create a prefab, using the GameManager.Remove the Game Object from the main scene.In the Main Camera, I created a script:  Main Script.  This is my primary script for the main scene.<code> public GameObject[] prefabs; private ClientSettings _clientSettings; // Use this for initialization void Start () { GameObject res = (GameObject)Instantiate(prefabs[0]); }</code>Now go back out to scene view, and add the new GameManager prefab to the prefabs collection of MainScript.When the main scene loads, the GameManager is set up, but is not part of the main scene's hierarchy, so the two are no longer tied up together.Now in our second scene, we have a script - SecondScript - and we can get a reference to the ClientSettings we created in the previous scene like so:<code>private ConnectionSettings _clientSettings; // Use this for initialization void Start () { _clientSettings = FindObjectOfType<ConnectionSettings> (); }</code>And the scenes can start and finish without creating strange long-running scene side effects.

  • Why can't `main` return a double or String rather than int or void?

    In many languages such as C, C++, and Java, the main method/function has a return type of void or int, but not double or String. What might be the reasons behind that? I know a little bit that we can't do that because main is called by runtime library and it expects some syntax like int main() or int main(int,char**) so we have to stick to that. So my question is: why does main have the type signature that it has, and not a different one?

BACKGROUND: Currently in my WinForms application I have generic exception handle that goes along the lines of, if (a) a custom app exception then present to user, but don't exit program, and (b) if other exception then present and then exit application The above is nice as I can just throw the appropriate exception anywhere in the application and the presentation/handling is handled generically

  • Java multithreaded server - each connection returns data. Processing on main thread?

    I am writing a client with an integrated server that should wait indefinitely for new connections - and handle each on a Thread. I want to process the received byte array in a system wide available message handler on the main thread. However, currently the processing is obviously done on the client thread. I've looked at Futures, submit() of ExecutorService, but as I create my Client-Connections within the Server, the data would be returned to the Server thread. How can I return it from there onto the main thread (in a synchronized packet store maybe?) to process it without blocking the server?     My GWT app has a search result with orderid column as hyperlink. On clicking, it opens up another tab which shows the details. I want to expose this particular functionality externally say in an email http://www.myapp.com/XYZApp.html?orderid=1234 so that user can directly go to the details page after login to the App. In JSP world, it was pretty straightforward. Is it possible in GWT given that the call to show up the details page is not in the main GWT module (XYZApp.html)

    I've noticed that a lot of projects have the following structure: Project-A bin lib src main java RootLevelPackageClass.java I currently use the following convention (as my projects are 100% java): Project-A bin lib src RootLevelPackageClass.java I'm not currently using Maven but am wondering if this is a Maven convention or not or if there is another reason. Can someone explain why the first version is so popular these days and if I should adopt this new convention or not? Chris

    In SQL, can we always write an inner join statement as a main query and subquery or vice versa if we only want to find the intersection? For example, select * from gifts g where g.giftID in (select giftID from sentGifts); can do a join and show the gifts sent in the sentGifts table, but it won't be able to show the sentTime because that is inside the subquery. But if all we care is to find the intersection, without caring what is being displayed, then we can always convert one to the other?
