I want to iterate through the file and append each line to a common variable, that can be passed to a command line tool. For example, the file might be: C:\dir\test.txt C:\WINDOWS\test2.txt C:\text3.txt and I'd like to assign them to some variable 'a' such that: a = "C:\dir\test.txt C:\WINDOWS\test2.txt C:\text2.txt" A secondary question is - what is a good batch file reference? I'm finding some stuff in the Windows material, and a lot of home-grown websites, but nothing particularly complete. Thanks!

  Hi, I'm working on a uni project with a few other people using SVN. Much to my annoyance the .project file was removed from the repository since "it contains platform specific information". However, this has obviously broken my setup in Eclipse, giving me the error: Problems occurred opening the selected resources. The project description file (.project) for '___' is missing. This file contains important information about the project. The project will not function properly until this file is restored. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  I have a PHP project setup in Netbeans (v6.8) where all the PHP files are on a remote server and in a single directory. Whenever I save files locally they are updated on the remote server via SFTP. I now need to edit a remote JavaScript file to add some jQuery logic but the file is located within a different directory on the webserver. How to I add this JavaScript file such that when it is saved or updated it is transferred to it's own location on the server? When I attempt to create the file locally within NetBeans it saves to the same directory as my PHP files. I would like to be able to continue using NetBeans rather than doing this all manually using an SFTP client and a text editor. Thanks in advance.

  I'm having some trouble finding a config file with classpath. I use : InputStream stream = myclass.class.getResourceAsStream("properties.file"); The properties.file is located under config directory. When running the program with eclipse, it works. I just added config folder in the classpath in the launch configuration. But If I want to run the exported jar like this : java -jar -cp C:\project\lib;C:\project\config myclass.jar I get the oh wonderful java.lang.NullPointerException because it can't find the file. This sounds classic and stupid but I can't find a clue. What does eclipse do that I don't ? Thanks

I want the file to be modified by my application only. I can sign the file's content with a key, but then this key will be stored in the application, therefore it would be possible for a hacker to decompile the binary and find the key.   I have a requirement in which, i need to upload an excel file into SQL Server database. It is working well till this point. But sometimes i am getting excel file in such a way, that the first 2 rows and columns are empty rows. That is not even fixed every time. so the format of the table after upload is not as expected. It is assigning F1, F2 as column names for the table in SQL Server. It varies from file to file. I want to program it in such away so that the user can enter the row number and the column number from where the actual data is starting. So that while upload it should from line 3 and column 2. I don't know how to specify that row and column while uploading. Please help me to solve the same.

I assuming the temp users have their own table from the following reasons: Temp users don't have all the data that real users have. like: email, password, and all users details. On the other hand, temp users are a lot more then real users. So it make more sense to have they in their own table.

• Drupal 7: Rename files on upload (via filefield)

  Looking for a way to rename files that are uploaded by users through a filefield. For example, rename user profile photos using uniqid. I found a good solution for D6 here: http://www.wesjones.net/home/2011/03/drupal-6-how-to-change-filename-on-upload but can't find anything for D7. Another option is to use File (Field) Paths, but (1) the module causes warnings on my setup and (2) seems to be a bit of an overkill to install a general module for a very specific purpose.
