  • Problem making local copy of a webpage

    I want to run this chrome experiment locally. I copied the .html and .js files, along with the two .jpgs that the demo uses. However, when I run it off my local drive, Chrome gives this error: light.js:89 - Uncaught Error: SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18 Line 89 returns the image data from the canvas after drawing the image to it. What's causing this security exception? It seems to not be Chrome-specific, as Firefox gives the same error.

    Hi, I was playing around with Drupal UC and installed a module called "Quoting / Estimate" (http://drupal.org/project/quoting), I tried to run it and got this error: **warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'quoting_quote_clear_page' was given in /home/ergospec/public_html/d/includes/menu.inc on line 348** Has anyone run into this problem?     This is a general question, but I'll explain my specific need at the moment: I want to find the framework class that enables one to choose an image at design-time. I can find the editor that is used at run-time - its the Drawing.Design.ImageEditor. At design time, however, a different editor pops up which allows one to choose an image from resources. I'm guessing I could run some kind of program, then open up the image editor, from the property grid, and see what new windows/classes have been created? Thanks

    I'm writing a specialised crawler and parser for internal use and I require the ability to take a screenshot of a web page in order to check what colours are being used throughout. The program will take in around ten web addresses and will save them as a bitmap image, from there I plan to use LockBits in order to create a list of the five most used colours within the image. To my knowledge it's the easiest way to get the colours used within a web page but if there is an easier way to do it please chime in with your suggestions. Anyway, I was going to use this program until I saw the price tag. I'm also fairly new to C#, having only used it for a few months. Can anyone provide me with a solution to my problem of taking a screenshot of a web page in order to extract the colour scheme? EDIT: Sorry for not getting back to this sooner, but I've been busy with some other things. Anyway, the code seems to work well, but the problem I am having right now is that I am running it within a form, and naturally with Application.Run() being called I cannot run two instances of the same form at once. It recommended Form.showDialog() but that broke everything.   • Exclude one or more elements from being connected (using connectWith) in jQuery's sortable lists

    I have two lists, one with an ID of "vlist" and one with an ID of "hlist". The "vlist" holds elements which should be visible, while the "hlist" holds items that should remain hidden. The idea here is to allow the administrator of the system to specify which elements/fields should be shown on a sign-up page, and which shouldn't. The two lists are connected using "connectWith", so the administrator can drag items from the visible list to the hidden list (or vice versa). My dilemma is that there are a few fields I want locked into the visible list, but still sortable within that one list. For example, the "username", "email" and "password" fields should be locked within the visible list (as they always need to be used for registration). Is this even possible? Perhaps it is a no-brainer that I simply haven't discovered yet. I've looked around through jQuery's documentation for a while and can't seem to find anything related to this scenario. I have found how you can "cancel" specific elements in the list from being sortable altogether or even disabled from being a dropable target, but this doesn't do it. The user should still have the ability to drag these items within the "visible" list, in case they want to adjust the ordering of the locked fields. I'm also aware that you can contain sortable elements within a specific element or DOM object, but this also can't be used as this only seems to apply to the whole sortable list, and not specific elements of that list. I've even tried to see if something like this would work after I built the sortable listing(s): $('#vlist > #slist-li-username').sortable('option', 'containment', '#vlist'); Obviously, that didn't work either or I wouldn't be posting this.   • Microsoft Report Viewer Control not displaying report

    I have built a simple report and run it successfully in test winform apps but when I try to run the same report in my production winforms application, the report just doesn't show up in the viewer. I look at the ReportViewer control after InitializeComponent and everything looks fine. Are there debugging techniques or gotcha's that might be able to point me to why the report is not showing. It feels like there should be an error of some sort but it just displays a blank form.

    Hello, I've been trying to use CDT with Eclipse 3.4 under Windows XP with cygwin. What do I need to do, in order to get startet? I used "eclipse-cpp-ganymede-SR1-win32.zip" found on the Eclipse homepage. Edit: The main problem is, that I cannot compile and run the code. In the run configuration, I tried gcc.exe for the C/C++ Application: After adding the path of make.exe to my $Path, and starting from scratch, it works perfectly.
