It breaks the text to pieces "THE REALSONG OF THIS VIDEOS IS REAL GONE, BUT FOR COPYRIGHTS RASONS.....YOUTUBE FORCE ME A CHANGE THE SONG :s Un peque" And next should be "ño" but it just quit the parsing there and further tags are being handled. :( It always does with the ISO 8859 1 Character cames in ) Any quick idea ???   I'm trying to do a left join in subsonic 3 using linq but it doesn't seem to work, I get a big error. var post = from p in Post.All() join q in Quote.All() on p.ID equals q.PostID into pq where p.ID == id.Value from qt in pq.DefaultIfEmpty() select new {p, qt}; I'm using subsonic 3, latest GIT version from Rob, but I'm getting an error, see below, when I try a left join. I have searched but I didn't found any solution. Can anyone explain to me why the error and how to fix it?   Hi, I'm trying to parse the HTML presented below with TouchXML but it keeps crashing when I try to extract certain attributes. I'm totally new to the parser world so I apologize for being a complete idiot. I need help to parse this HTML. What I'm trying to accomplish is to parse each attribute and value or what not and copy them to a string. I've been trying to find a good parser to parse HTML and I believe TouchXML is the best I've seen because of Tidy. Speaking of Tidy, How could I run this HTML through Tidy first then parse it? I'm not sure how to do this. Here is the code that I have so far that doesn't work due to it's not pulling everything I need from the HTML. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. • Adding relative path for an external graphic in a XSL document?

  Hi, first of, I don't know much about XSL. I am using a app called DITA to generate pdfs. One of the things it requires is an overwrite of an xsl file; to add custom styling. I am trying to add an external graphic using a relative path. It doesn't work, unless I supply the full path. Does not work: <fo:block text-align="center" width="100%"> <fo:external-graphic src="../../images/logo.png"/> </fo:block> Does work: <fo:block text-align="center" width="100%"> <fo:external-graphic src="/absolute/path/to/images/logo.png"/> </fo:block> I looked on the web, it said to use "file:image.png" and other website said to use "url(image.png)", but neither worked.   I've been testing Hudson for a few days now and for PHP projects it seems ok; What I need though is a system that will allow me to publish an SVN tag to an FTP folder without adding a pile of rubbish on the end; hudson gets overexcited and adds a pile of folders to the export. Are their any other decent systems; it needs to be simple to use as this will eventually fall under the control of 'admins' in order to meet sox compliance (aka the man with the gun cant pull the trigger). Basic Requirements: Must be free and downloadable to a server (FTP's internal only here) Needs to be able to interact with SVN Needs to be able to publish to FTP Needs matrix login permissions (or AD if its something that can go on IIS) Needs to be auditable (logging) Tell me if im not being clear enough here; thanks. • Custom flash mp3 player stopping in the middle of playing audio on windows nt ie6 system

  We have used a custom MP3 flash player for a lot of years on our website without any issues, but recently, a client of ours is reporting that the audio is playing for several seconds and then stopping. When they refresh the page or click play in the player again the audio plays fine. We are puzzled as to what could be causing this issue after this running successfully for our clients for so many years. The client system is Windows NT running IE6. Does anyone have any idea what could cause the audio to behave this way? Could audio drivers or the version of flash cause problems? We do not have flash programmers on our team so we are not even sure where to start looking within the flash code of the player. Any ideas?

  Hi, I'm trying to build a CCD document. My application has some raw data which has to be converted into a CCD document. And I've no idea where I should start from!! From this thread I learned that MDHT and Braid can be used to create a CCD document. But thats all I could grasp. I thought that I need a CCD XSD, a java library which will transform my raw data into a CCD document using this XSD ( or may be the library itself takes care of it ). But I'm stuck at both. I suppose the CCD XSD has to be purchased. If I get hold of the XSD, how should I proceed ahead? I got really confused reading the Braid and MDHT sites. Sorry, I'm a complete nOOb in this domain. Can anyone guide me?

• System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement not working on the server

  I am using System.DirectoryServices.AccountManagement to find the logged-in user's AD entry. It is working great in the VS2008 WebDev server on developers machines. But when we installed the code on the development server (windows server 2008), we get an access error. Both the developer's machine and the development server are members of the same domain. We have Impersonation turned on, so we are connecting to AD with the same user credentials. What are we missing here? Why is it working on the developer's machine, but not the development server? The actual exception that we were receiving was "An operations error occurred".

  Hi, I have an XmlDocument object in C# that I transform, using XslTransform, to html. In the stylesheet I insert an id attribute in a span tag, taking the id from an element in the XmlDocument. Here is the template for the element: <xsl:template match="word"> <span> <xsl:attribute name="id"><xsl:value-of select="@id"></xsl:value-of></xsl:attribute> <xsl:apply-templates/> </span> </xsl:template> But then I want to process the result document as an xhtml document (using the XmlDocument dom). So I'm taking a selected element in the html, creating a range out of it, and try to load the element using XmlLoad(): wordElem.LoadXml(range.htmlText); But this gives me the following exception: "'598' is an unexpected token. The expected token is '"' or '''. Line 1, position 10." And if I move the cursor over the range.htmlText, I see the tags for the element, and the "id" shows without quotes, which confuses me (i.e.SPAN id=598 instead of SPAN id="598"). To confuse the matter further, if I insert a blank space or something like that in the value of the id in the stylesheet, it works fine, i.e.: <span> <xsl:attribute name="id"><xsl:text> </xsl:text> <xsl:value-of select="@id"></xsl:value-of></xsl:attribute> <xsl:apply-templates/> </span> (Notice the whitespace in the xsl:text element). Now if I move the cursor over the range.htmlText, I see an id with quotes as usual in attributes (and as it shows if I open the html file in notepad or something). What is going on here? Why can't I insert an attribute this way and have a result that is acceptable as xhtml for XmlDocument to read? I feel I am missing something fundamental, but all this surprises me, since I do this sort of transformations using xsl:attribute to insert attributes all the time for other types of xsl transformations. Why doesn't XmlDocument accept this value? By the way, it doesn't matter if it is an id attribute. i have tried with the "class" attribute, "style" etc, and also using literal values such as "style" and setting the value to "color:red" and so on. The compiler always complains it is an unvalid token, and does not include quotes for the value unless there is a whitespace or something else in there (linebreaks etc.). I hope I have provided enough information. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Basically, what I want to accomplish is set an id in a span element in html, select a word in a webbrowser control with this document loaded, and get the id attribute out of the selected element. I've accomplished everything, and can actually do what I want, but only if I use regex e.g. to get the attribute value, and I want to be able to use XmlDocument instead to simply get the value out of the attribute directly. I'm sure I'm missing something simple, but if so please tell me. Regards, Anders

  I have a document that looks something like <root> <element> <subelement1 /> <subelement2 /> </element> <element> <subelement2 /> <subelement1 /> </element> </root> In my XSLT sheet in the context of /element[2]/[someNode] I want to get a number that represents the distance of /element[1]/[someNode] (ie, the number of preceding siblings of /element1/[someNode]). For example, in the context of /element[2]/subelement1 I'd like to have some way to get the number 2, the distance from /element[1] to /element[1]/subelement2. I only ever need the distance of the given node name from the first instance of . Intuitively I thought I could construct this like <xsl:variable name="nodename" select="name()" /> <xsl:value-of select="/element[1]/$nodename/preceding-sibling::*" /> but unfortunately this sheet doesn't compile. Is what I'm trying to achieve possible in XSLT?

  Hi, I am implementing a tag cloud system based on this recommendation. (However, I am not using foreign keys) I am allowing up to 25 tags. My question is, how can I handle editing on the items? I have this item adding/editing page: Title: Description: Tags: (example data) computer, book, web, design If someone edits an item details, do I need to delete all the tags from Item2Tag table first, then add the new elements? For instance, someone changed the data to this: Tags: (example data) computer, book, web, newspaper Do I need to delete all the tags from Item2Tag table, and then add these elements? It seems inefficient, but I could find a more efficient way. The other problem is with this way is, if someone edits description but does not change the tags box, I still need to delete all the elements from Item2Tag table and add the same element. I am not an experienced PHP coder, so could you suggest a better way to handle this? (pure PHP/MySQL solution is preferable) Thanks in advance,

The XPath expression //span[@class="boris"] selects all spans of class boris. How do I select the last one of these? I've tried //span[@class="boris" and last()] which doesn't work because last() here refers to the last span in the WHOLE DOCUMENT. How do I select all the spans of class boris... and then the last one of these? I've read 5 or 6 XPath tutorials and done a lot of Googling and I can't find a way to do this in XPath alone :( Thanks in advance for help :)

• How to Deserialize Missing Fields To Nulls

  I am working on a .NET project where several versions of the same type of object have been created over the life of the project - most new versions add a field or two. However, now I am looking to mitigate problems for users with an old version. My goal is that when a user tries to open an old version of the serialized object with the new program, the program will automatically assign default values to the fields that are missing from the depreciated version of the file. For example, say I had a class with two boolean fields - RepeatSound and RepeatForever. The first version of the program doesn't know how to repeat forever, so it only saved RepeatSound: <anyType xsi:type="Sound"> <RepeatSound>true</RepeatSound> </anyType> but the new files look like this: <anyType xsi:type="Sound"> <RepeatSound>true</RepeatSound> <RepeatForever>true</RepeatForever> </anyType> My goal is that when I deserialize the first file in the new program that it will create the Sound object but simply default the value of RepeatForever to false.
