  • Is it possible to serve up a resource as both JSON and Aspx with OpenRasta?

    (I'm also asking this on the OpenRasta google group) Hey all, I've been using OpenRasta to convert an old web application we have into something RESTful. IS it possible to serve up a resource (or specifically a list of resources) as both .aspx and JSON? I have tried this but no matter what I try I keep getting the .aspx back ... any ideas?   • jaxb unmarshaling with schema validation in runtime

    I am using jaxb for my application configurations I feel like I am doing something really crooked and I am looking for a way to not need an actual file or this transaction. As you can see in code I: 1.create a schema into a file from my JaxbContext (from my class annotation actually) 2.set this schema file in order to allow true validation when I unmarshal Schema mySchema = SchemaFactory.newInstance(XMLConstants.W3C_XML_SCHEMA_NS_URI).newSchema(schemaFile); jaxbContext.generateSchema(new MySchemaOutputResolver()); // ultimately creates schemaFile Unmarshaller u = m_context.createUnmarshaller(); u.setSchema(mySchema); u.unmarshal(...); do any of you know how I can validate jaxb without needing to create a schema file that sits in my computer? Do I need to create a schema for validation, it looks redundant when I get it by JaxbContect.generateSchema ? How do you do this?

Problem here is the xwriter.WriteElementString will escape all "<" and "" symbols with &lt and &gt. I have checked MSDN to see if there is a way to disable it, but have not found an answer. Is there a way to disable the auto-escape features?

    I have a list of strings which are candidates for Enumerations values. They are Don't send diffs 500 lines 1000 lines 5000 lines Send entire diff The problem is that spaces, special characters are not a part of identifiers and even cannot start with a number, so I would be sanitizing these values to only chars, numbers and _ To keep the original values I thought of putting these strings in the DescriptionAttribute, such that the final Enum should look like public enum DiffBehvaiour { [Description("Don't send diffs")] Dont_send_diffs, [Description("500 lines")] Diff_500_lines, [Description("1000 lines")] Diff_1000_lines, [Description("5000 lines")] Diff_5000_lines, [Description("Send entire diff")] Send_entire_diff } Then later using code I will retrieve the real string associated with the enumeration value, so that the correct string can be sent back the web service to get the correct resource. I want to know how to create the DescriptionAttribute using System.Reflection.Emit Basically the question is where and how to store the original string so that when the Enumeration value is chosen, the corresponding value can be retrieved. I am also interested in knowing how to access DescriptionAttribute when needed.

In debug, I'd like the transformation tool to add a configSource="file.local" to the connectionStrings element. But in release, I'd like it to add a connectionString element. So, to summarize, I have <connectionStings> </connectionStings> And I need to transform it to <connectionStings configSource="file.local"> </connectionStings> And to: <connectionStings> <clear/> <add name="Abc" connectionSting="bla bla bla" provider="xxx" /> </connectionStings> Anybody has done this yet?     Hi, I have a asp.net application in order to start/stop applications and ports of Biztalk server 2006 r2. I have used "Microsoft.Biztalk.explorerom.dll (C:/Program Files/Biztalk Server 2006/Developer tool) " to achieve this. This is working fine on development machine since biz talk server is installed on local machine. But in the production environment (asp.net web server ,windows 2003 and iis 6.0)...this give System.nullreferenceexception (object reference not set..) at BtsCatalogExplorer explorer = (BtsCatalogExplorer)myGroup.CreateInstance(typeof(BtsCatalogExplorer)) my biztalk server and sql server are on two different box. In my setup (asp.net web application)..adding Microsoft.Biztalk.explorerom.dll and Microsoft.Biztalk.Applicationdeployment.engine.dll to GAC. But still no luck. Do i need to install biz talk server on my local machine even though I am connecting to different biz talk server?? And help is appreciated...

    My regex skills are not very good and recently a new data element has thrown my parser into a loop Take the following string "+USER=Bob Smith-GROUP=Admin+FUNCTION=Read/FUNCTION=Write" Previously I had the following for my regex : [+\\-/] Which would turn the result into USER=Bob Smith GROUP=Admin FUNCTION=Read FUNCTION=Write FUNCTION=Read But now I have values with dashes in them which is causing bad output New string looks like "+USER=Bob Smith-GROUP=Admin+FUNCTION=Read/FUNCTION=Write/FUNCTION=Read-Write" Which gives me the following result , and breaks the key = value structure. USER=Bob Smith GROUP=Admin FUNCTION=Read FUNCTION=Write FUNCTION=Read Write Can someone help me formulate a valid regex for handling this or point me to some key / value examples. Basically I need to be able to handle + - / signs in order to get combinations.

  • System.Net.WebProxy in .NET Client

    I don't yet have a good understanding of how the network is set up at my current client, but here is my issue. The vendor has a normal URL, but it might be a leased line. I have a .NET program that calls an external .asmx service. If I go to IE, Connections, LAN Settings, and uncheck "Automatic detect settings" and uncheck "Use Automatic Configuration Sript", then the .NET program runs and access the web service fine. But then, to access internet again from the browser, I have to re-check the two boxes, and so on throughout the day while we are testing and browsing. I'm hoping to put some code like this in the .NET program to avoid us having to constantly change: if (chkUseProxy.Checked) { myclient.Proxy = new System.Net.WebProxy(""); } I tried null and empty string and so far not able to connect without errors. Is this possible, and if so, what might be the correct parms for the constructor? Or are there other objects or properties that would need to be set? Thanks, Neal Walters

  • IntellIJ editor doesn't appear

    I updated my IntellIJ install to the latest version (11.1.4) and now the Editor window doesn't appear. Double-clicking on the file, jump-to-source, nothing happens. No error message, it just doesn't appear. If I double-click on an xml layout file the preview window works, but no Editor window. Have installed and reinstalled; went back to an earlier version and it doesn't work there either. I'm at a loss. Any ideas? Update: Editor works if I create a new project.     I have a android view with 2 buttons centered. I want to change the button sizes to be bigger when I run the app on a tablet because they look ridiculous small there since it is the same size as for the phones. How can I do this?   • Missing output when running system command in perl/cgi file

    I need to write a CGI program and it will display the output of a system command: script.sh echo "++++++" VAR=$(expect -c " spawn ssh -o StrictHostKeyChecking=no $USER@$HOST $CMD match_max 100000 expect \"*?assword:*\" send -- \"$PASS\r\" send -- \"\r\" expect eof ") echo $VAR echo "++++++" In CGI file: my $command= "ksh ../cgi-bin/script.sh"; my @output= `$command`; print @output; Finally, when I run the CGI file in unix, the $VAR is a very long string including \n and some delimiters. However, when I run on web server, the output is ++++++ ++++++ So $VAR is missing when passing in the web interface/browser. I know maybe the problem is $VAR is very long string. But anyway, is there anyway to solve this problem except writing the output to a file then retrieve it from browser? Thanks if you are interested in my question.
