  • Getting hover text with selenium in java

    I am trying to figure out how to get the product availability text from a page like http://www.walmart.com/browse/TV-Video/TVs/_/N-96v3? (once a store has been selected) I selected 76574 as my zipcode and went to the "In My Store" tab The code I have now is WebElement hoverElement = driver.findElement(By.xpath(".//*[@id='Body_15992428']/span")); WebElement hidden = driver.findElement(By.xpath(".//*[@id='slapInfo_NoVariant_15992428']/div")); Actions builder = new Actions(driver); builder.clickAndHold(hoverElement).build().perform(); System.out.println(hidden.getText()); **Edit: I tried profile.setEnableNativeEvents(false); and the text is now displayed in the automated browser window. I still cannot get to the text I want though. It does not throw an exception, only displays nothing because the driver thinks its still hidden. Any one know how to fix this? I keep getting Exception in thread "main" org.openqa.selenium.InvalidElementStateException: Cannot perform native interaction: Could not load native events component. Even after I do profile.setEnableNativeEvents(true); Are there any other ways I can get the hidden text, or what am I doing wrong here? Additionally while I was inspecting the code with firebug, I saw that there is this code <script type="text/javascript"> WALMART.$(document).ready(function(){ WALMART.$('#Body_15992428').hover(function(){ WALMART.$('#SeeStoreAvailBubble').wmBubble('update',WALMART.$('#bubbleMsgUpdate_15992428').html()); }); }); </script> I dont really know how to do things directly with javascript but is there is any way of getting the message text directly from that with a javascript executor?

    Hi, I declared LinkedHashMap<String, float[]> and now I want to convert float[] values into double[][]. I am using following code. LinkedHashMap<String, float[]> fData; double data[][] = null; Iterator<String> iter = fData.keySet().iterator(); int i = 0; while (iter.hasNext()) { faName = iter.next(); tValue = fData.get(faName); //data = new double[fData.size()][tValue.length]; for (int j = 0; j < tValue.length; j++) { data[i][j] = tValue[j]; } i++; } When I try to print data System.out.println(Arrays.deepToString(data)); it doesn't show the data :( I tried to debug my code and i figured out that I have to initialize data outside the while loop but then I don't know the array dimensions :( How to solve it?     When setting Lazy=false, then hibernate will automatically loads the objects into the required sets e.g. <set name="Options" table="ATTRIBUTEOPTION" inverse="false" cascade="all" lazy="false"> <key> <column name="ATTRIBUTEID" /> </key> <one-to-many class="com.BiddingSystem.Models.AttributeOption" /> </set> but if in my xml mapping, I place lazy=true and in some place in my application i decide that i want to load all attribute options, should i do it manually, or is there a technique which lets tells hibernate that now i want to set lazy=false??

    I have an application with fairly high traffic (20K req/min) running on the JVM with a Jetty servlet container on Ubuntu. Below is my Jetty configuration: 10 20 2000 2 When I analyze the network traffic, I realize that sometimes it is taking long to establish TCP connections on the port that Jetty is running. The long connections are varying between 3.0s and 9.0s. The port is configured to accept MAX number of TCP connections. Do you know what might be causing the delay in accepting connections? Thanks

  • Hiding "Print to file" in a Java print dialog

    I'm maintaining this Swing app that has a "print" option. Users need to be kept from interacting in any way with the underlying file system, but the print dialog offers "print to file" as one printer, and that of course allows selecting a directory and file from the file system. Is there a painless way to override/modify the print dialog to hide the "to file" printer from this dialog? I understand the API will let me do this piecemeal but I'd rather not have to re-create most of the dialog GUI and functionality to do this.

    I have a section of a book, complete with punctuation, line breaks etc. and I want to be able to extract the first n words from the text, and divide that into 5 parts. Regex mystifies me. This is what I am trying.     I am not good in regular expressions and I need help in replacing the string. String str = "Name_XYZ_"; str = "XYZ_NAME_"; So how can I replace "Name_" or "_NAME_" from above two strings with empty string? The conditions are "Name" can be in any case and it can be at index 0 or at any index but preceded by "_". So far I tried, String replacedString = str.replaceAll("(?i)Name_", ""); // This is not correct. This is not the homework. I am working on XML file that needs such kind of processing. Please help.     When are statements after the method call itself going to execute? private void inorderHelper(TreeNode node) { if ( node==null ) return; inorderHelper(node.leftNode); System.out.printf("%d", node.data); inorderHelper(node.rigthNode); } All I can see is that the line of codes inorderHelper(node.leftNode) will continue to iterate until node == null and the method terminates immediately before node.data is printed. I think that I didn't get well recursion but all examples I can find doesn't have statements after the recursive call. All I want to know is when are statements like System.out.printf("%d",node.data) going to execute before the method return?

Q1. I think they will require space. If they will, then how much memory does a null value takes in the memory (like int takes 4 bytes). Q2. How much space a string takes in memory. I guess it will depend on the length of the string. So how much space a string takes of how much length?

    I think I may be a victim of type erasure but thought I'd check with others here first. I have the requirement to do something like this: public interface FooFactory { public <T extends Bar> Foo<T> createFoo( Class<T> clazz ); } It is perfectly valid to write this code. However, I'm trying to implement this functionality using a Spring BeanFactory and I can't do it. What I'd like to do is this... public class FooFactoryImpl implements BeanFactoryAware { private BeanFactory beanFactory; public <T extends Bar> Foo<T> createFoo( Class<T> clazz ) { return beanFactory.getBean( ????????? ); } public void setBeanFactory( BeanFactory beanFactory ) { this.beanFactory = beanFactory; } } As you can see, I've put in ???????? where I'd like to retrieve a bean of type Foo<T>, where T extends Bar. However, it is not possible to derive a Class object of type Foo<T> and so I assume what I'm trying to do is impossible?   • Question About Eclipse Java Debugger Conditional Breakpoints Inefficiency

    I just set a conditional breakpoint in Eclipse's debugger with a mildly inefficient condition by breakpoint standards - checking whether a HashMap's value list (8 elements) contains Double.NaN. This resulted in an extremely noticeable slowdown in performance - after about five minutes, I gave up. Then I copy pasted the condition into an if statement at the exact same line, put a noop in the if, and set a normal breakpoint there. That breakpoint was reached in the expected 20-30 seconds. Is there something special that conditional breakpoints do that is different from this, or is Eclipse's implementation just kinda stupid? It seems like they could fairly easily just do exactly the same thing behind the scenes.

I have a method that returns a string array of all the rows in the table that I want to make into an enumerated type. Is there any way to construct an enum with an array?
