  • How to convert pcm to mp3?

    I have some .pcm files and I want to convert them on high quality .mp3 format. I tried to find tools by Google search but did not get the right one for me. I will prefer the freeware but if there is not a good freeware then I can also consider the shareware. The pcm format has much large files as I have 200-500 mb so the tool should be able to handle the large files. Please help me regard this problem.

    i just got a server & want to colocation it in datacenter server details : HP DL380, 2x intel Xeon (3,06GHz/533, 512KB L2 Cache), 8x Fans, Form Factor Rack (2U), 2x 400W Power Supplies, the server have 2 psu, can i only turn on 1 psu, to reduce cost in colocation? will the server still running good? the standart colocation packages in my city only give default power 400w, if need additional power 400w need additional cost about $40-60 again permonth please give suggestion from your experience

    Why does a 32bit domU (Xen guest VM) use less RAM than a 64bit? Notes: The same software complied for a different arch(AMD64 vs. 686). Obviously this is Linux or BSD or something easily ported.     I have the ability to get .wav files of voice mails emailed to me, but sometimes I'll be sitting in a meeting and I need to know the content of a message without playing it out loud. Are there any good (and, preferably, free) tools for converting .wav files to text? I know Google Voice has this capability, but I can't determine if it'll work on a file-by-file basis. I realize that this is a difficult research problem, but even an 80% solution might be workable.

Now I'm looking for an inexpensive (100-250$) hardware, possibly linux based, with a fingerprint reader from which I can perform the user authentication and interact with the application (both the activities) via REST. I saw hundreds of different devices on internet which are supposed to do these activities but there are no good datasheets for them and it's very difficult to understand what's possible to do with those devices.     Hello, I am very good with an HTTP server, but I am new to FTP. I'm trying to configure a FTPS connection and I have listen set to port 990. But FileZilla client connection always hangs up on TLS initialization and then times out. Any suggestions on configuration?     ISP's recommend you segment your marketing and transactional emails by using different IPs. I want to start using DKIM, but since DKIM is a domain based reputation system I wonder if signing with the same company.com domain will impact the reputation of transactional emails, since both them and marketing will be signed with the same domain? Is using DKIM with subdomains possible? Would something like this: bulk.company.com and transactional.company.com be a good idea? Thanks!
