• .net directoryService returns less result as compared to the CSVDE

  I am using .net directoryService to execute an LDAP query and retrieve the users from AD. but when I run the same query using CSVDE tool , i get more no of result as compared to the directorySerrvice. in both the case, i'm using thesame credential to run the application and CSVDE. does any one have any idea if I need to set some flag or any thing while using directoryservice. any pointer will be helpful.

• TabRenderer with no visual styles enabled?

  I want to draw a custom TabControl with custom functionality. To do this, i inherited the Panel class and overrided OnPaint method to draw with TabRenderer class. The problem is that TabRenderer working only when visual styles enabled (can be checked with TabRenderer.IsSupported), but what should i do if visual styles disabled? In this case, I thought using the ControlPaint class to draw tabs without visual styles, but it has no draw method related to Tabs. I want it basically to behave visually like the regular TabControl.

  Intro When saving png images through GIMP, I've always used level 9 (maximum) compression, as I knew that it's lossless. Now I've to specify compression level when saving png format image through GD extension of PHP. Question Is there any case when I shouldn't compress PNG to maximum level? Like any compatibility issues? If there's no problem then why to ask user; why not automatically compress to max?

I am asking this because I can't imagine such a scenario because server-side code runs in the server, not in the browser but I have seen discussions where, as said, there were "server-side browser compatibility issues". Is there anyway to create netcat to read xml and send to php? Any other solution welcome! Is it better to run php to listen to Port? in that case will multiple requests at the same time work?

  Currently we use log4net and create a new folder (usually below C:) with write and create access rights for the worker process user. Is there perhaps a standard windows folder we should or could be using such as LOCALAPPDATA? I'm guessing that LOCALAPPDATA is a bad choice in the general case because IIS users tend to be non-interactive users and thus I don't think they have the usual user folder structrues available.

By default I use IsExpanded of TreeViewItem to true. But in a particular case, I want to set IsExpanded property to false. So that treeview loading doesn't take time to generate all items.
