• NullPointerException when trying to connect to web service using kSoap method Android

  My web service should be returning an integer, but every time i run the code i get the NullPointerException error.   I have the following routes defined for my application: routes.MapRoute( "Referral", // Route name "{referralCode}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index" } // Parameter defaults ); routes.MapRoute( "Default", // Route name "{controller}/{action}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index" } // Parameter defaults ); And I'm trying to create an ActionLink to go on the Index action on my AdminController: @Html.ActionLink("admin", "Index", "Admin") However, when the view is executed the ActionLink renders as (Index action value is omitted): <a href="/Admin">admin</a> Normally this would be ok, but it's causing a collision with the "Referral" route. NOTE: If I instead use ActionLink to render a different action like "Default," the ActionLink renders correctly: <a href="/Admin/Default">admin</a> The fact that the "Default" action renders correctly leads me to believe the problem has to do with the default value specified for the route. Is there anyway to force ActionLink to render the "Index" action as well?

  Hello, I have a via with some jQuery function to get value from HTML element (to access element available and element not yet available). On of these element is a dropdown, when I select a value an another vue is added in the bottom of the page in a div. When I try to access an element added by this view, I received "undefined". What can I do ?   I have a relatively simple question that I cannot seem to find the answer for. While doing the Google Maps Java API Tutorials, I ran into a problem. I can load an HTML file from the web, but when I try it locally, it just displays the contents of the file instead of running the script.   I have a route like following, ideally I would like it to match: domain.com/layout/1-slug-is-the-name-of-the-page routes.MapRoute( "Layout", // Route name "layout/{id}-{slug}", // URL with parameters new { controller = "Home", action = "Index", id = @"\d+$" } ); But when I hit the url, I am keep on getting this exception: The parameters dictionary contains a null entry for parameter 'id' of non-nullable type 'System.Int32' for method 'System.Web.Mvc.ActionResult Index(Int32)' in .... The above route will match the following though: domain.com/layout/1-slug or domain.com/layout/1-slug_permalink Seems like the hyphen that separates the ID from the Slug is causing issues.

What wrong with my payload? The response is get is: ["Name can't be blank","Workspace can't be blank"] which leads me to conclude that the authentication works but toggl cannot read my json object.

  Quick question before I will explain my flow: ?an mod_cache perform revalidate with if-none-match only if max-age is expired in case if it configured in reverse proxy mode? My goal is to reduce a number of revalidation requests to our the origin server. For instance: The first request goes to the origin server and then mod_cache save a response in to the cache according to header cache-control: max-age. And only when max-age is expired then mod_cache will revalidate with if-none-match. Currently, mod_cache revalidate each request, regardless that max-age is defined or not. My configuration of Apache 2.4.3 (Windows), on linux I see the same behavior that I will show below.   I'm looking for an easy way to assign a post number to each post in wordpress and display it out of the total number of posts. A little info: There will be about 100 "posts", each on its own page I want users to click through each post, so start at post 1 and click "next post" to get to post 2 I want it to say post 4/100 at the top for each post I want the URL to have the post name in it I was going to use WP-PageNavi and set each page to display 1 post, however I need the url to show /post-name/ and not /page/2/ I know I can count total number of posts pretty easily, any idea how I can assign a number to each post without having to do it manually? I'd like to sort by date added.

• Opening popup links in UIWebView, possible?

  Hey guys, I have a UIWebView which I'm using as an embedded browser within my app. I've noticed that links in webpages that open new windows are ignored without any call into my code. I've tried breakpointing on - (BOOL)webView:(UIWebView *)webView shouldStartLoadWithRequest:(NSURLRequest *)request navigationType:(UIWebViewNavigationType)navigationType and then selecting a link that would open a popup window, and the breakpoint is never hit. Is there anything I can do to intercept that selection of the popup link and get the URL and just load it normally? I'm not interested in displaying a popup window in the app itself, I just want the URL of whatever is going to be loaded in the popup window to load in the main webview itself. Is this possible?   I have a form that adds links to a database, deletes them, and -- soon -- allows the user to edit details. I am using jQuery and Ajax heavily on this project and would like to keep all control in the same page. In the past, to handle editing something like details about another website (link entry), I would have sent the user to another PHP page with form fields populated with PHP from a MySQL database table. How do I accomplish this using a jQuery UI modal form and calling the details individually for that particular entry?   I'm looking for the best way to store per-Build configuration information for an iPhone app. In my iPhone app there are several url's and storage location settings that are specific to a particular build (DEBUG RELEASE etc) Currently i have three recipients for my app, QA/Test, myself and the customer, each has specific settings for the url's and storage locations mentioned above. whats the best way to do this? NOTE: they don't necessarily have to be defined in the build but what im looking for is advice on the best way to store alternate configuration settings.   I'm trying to search Netflix through their API, but without logging anyone in (because I want to do this on the back-end, not necessarily related to any user action). I'm just starting off with their API so please forgive me if I'm doing something completely stupid. Let's take this example : package com.example.maven.jaxws.helloservice; import javax.jws.WebService; @WebService public class Hello { public String sayHello(String param) { ; return "Hello " + param; } } I can generate a war file and use glassfish to serve this webservice, and from there I can use the glassfish WSDL URL to generate the client sources. What I am trying to do is to skip the glassfish part. From my maven project defining the webservice, I would like to use the jaxws-maven-plugin to create the client classes but I cannot find any way to specify the actual URL of the webservice.
