    I am getting following error on Cannot create the in-place editor This is probably because there is no OLE editor registered against the type of file you were trying to open. Failed to create Ole Client. result = -2147417851 I have MS office 2007,and the excel file is stored as "save as 2003 version".

    I want to create a custom ribbon button within Outlook 2007 using Visual Studio 2008 Standard, but am unsure how to proceed. Most of the resources I've found mention VS 2008 Pro, and this SO answer mentions that VSTO is not even included in Standard. Is creating custom ribbon buttons possible using Visual Studio 2008 Standard? If so, where should I start?

  • Fuzzy match in sharepoint search engine?

    In sharepoint 2007 sites, we can search for people or other contents. Is the search engine able to do fuzzy match so that "Micheal" can be corrected to "Michael"? If it's possible, does it need extra configuration? I am also writing a custom webpart that uses sharepoint search service, a web service that has url like "http://site/_vti_bin/search.asm". Is it possible to use this service to do fuzzy search as well? Thanks.

  • Event on Item Marked as Read in Outlook - Delphi COM Add-in

    I have a Delphi COM Add-in for Outlook (2000-2007) and am trying to find a way to register an event when an MailItem in Outlook is marked as read. I want to add an additional property to the item as/just after it is marked as read. Does anyone have any idea how to do this using the Outlook Object Model? I am also using Add-In-Express components to help get to additional properties events.

    Looking at the Nant and Nantcontrib repositories at Sourceforge I noticed that the last release of Nant is from December 7th 2007 and the latest release of Nantcontrib is from October 15th 2006! So, is it looks like the development of these tools has stalled for a while. Is anyone still working on those tools? Is it smart to invest my time into getting proficient on Nant, or should I just invest the time into MSBUILD?

    Does anyone know what the future holds for VBA/VSTO programming in Powerpoint? I've been working on a Office automation project and find it frustrating to work with Powerpoint in particular since it seems to be one level below VBA support found in Excel or Word. It feels like MS is trying to phase out support for VBA in PPT since they dropped macro recording in version 2007 and the object model lacks some key features support.

I have installed delphi 2007 and delphi 2009 and I don't know if the cause can come from this. Around 2005-2007 verything seemed to be programmed by hand, C, etc. Afterwards new unifying alternatives emerged like CUDA for GPU and lastly OpenCL.     On Windows XP, I ran "configure", and Qt says that I'm configured to use phonon, but I'm not sure how to set up my environment correctly in Qt Creator. According to the Qt documentation, I need to call: Set DXSDK_DIR=C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (February 2007) %DXSDK_DIR%\utilities\bin\dx_setenv.cmd C:\program files\Microsoft Platform SDK\setenv.cmd How do I do this in the Qt Creator IDE?     Hi, I am using C# to write/read to an Access 2007 Database. The table is ID - AutoNumber [pkey] Fname - Text Lname - Text Address - Text The query string I Use is "Insert into TblMain (Fname,Lname,Address) Values ('"+fname+"','"+lname+"','"+adrs+"')" No errors are returned, the query executes but data is not added to the db. Inserting to table using which does not have an autonumber data column works perfectly. What am I missing?

    If I wanna authenticate windows accounts to AD when a user browses to an apache-running site on a Linux server, here are the usual suspects:   * mod_ntlm (which I used in a distant past) - last update on 2003 * mod_auth_ntlm_winbind - last update on 04/2007 * mod_auth_kerb - last update on 12/2008 No luck getting any of those to work with a recent, fully patched, windows 2000 AD server.
