  Hey guys! Any Alfresco experts out there? I have created a document type in Alfresco and am trying to associate it with an image -- Somehow. I don't really mind how it's done - an image uploader in the metadata section when saving the actual document would be nice, but I can live with having to upload the image first and then associating it somehow with the document.   Hi, I'm trying to use Ubuntu for Rails development and I'm liking gedit except the syntax highlighting does not seem to work with out me setting it for each file I open. Should it not recognize a .rb file a ruby file rather than me having to go into the menu and setting it as such? Have I missed a setting somewhere? Thanks

Is there another way of pushing the proper name?   Hi, I need to have an event fired whenever any AppDomain unloads - including the default one of the process. The problem with AppDomain.DomainUnload is that it only fires for non-default AppDomains. Furthermore, AppDomain.ProcessExit has limited execution time, which I cannot rely on. Any suggestions as to how I can achieve this would be greatly appreciated! (Alternatively, having an event fired when a background thread (Thread.IsBackground == True) works too.) Thanks in advance.

I know this is not ideal as there are methods for SOAP sending files, however, I am limited to having to use the SOAP that is set up, and it is not set up for sending with file support. • Is 0x9B (155decimal) a special control character? Why is it missing from ascii tables?

  Hi, I'm working on an embedded system, and i'm having dramas getting it to send a certain chunk of data across the serial port. I narrowed it down and found that if a 0x9B is present in the message, it corrupts the message. So i then look up 0x9b (155) on http://www.asciitable.com/, and it's missing! Isn't that a bizarre coincidence! Any ideas, is this a special character or something?

Many Applications seem to do this but other than for care of overwriting Users' existing data I guess it has no real significance.   I have a RestFull grails api that i expose through grails Controller. I need to automatically bind the xml data sent in a POST request. I don't think using groovy bindData(object,params) works as the params reference seems not having the xml elements. i use the parseRequest=true in the UrlMappings but yet the params Object does'nt have the xml elements. am i missing some other config so that my params object get automatically populated with the xml body elements?
