• Is there any way i can make podcast application from iphone play my podcasts ? ( with code )

  I'm doing an application who can play podcasts, but i feel more comfortable is the iphone default podcast application plays itself, instead of me having to handle them. Passing the url to the sharedApplication object , safari opens and starts playing it .. but i'd like to skip the user seeing safari .. is there any way ? Thanks.

This data contains information which is marked by tags Tag 1 is from byte value 0x84 to 0xa5 Tag 2 is from byte value 0xa5 to 0x88 Tag 3 is from byte value 0x88 to 0x5f0x2d Tag 4 is from byte value 0x5f0x2d to 0x9f0x11 How would I go about to get those values from the NSData object? • Is it possible to profile CPU / memory inside an Adobe AIR application?

  Couldn`t find any ActionScript native APIs even in the beta documentation, am I right supposing that this means the only way to measure CPU / memory consumption is by cooking up a custom native solution, hooking it up with AIR and making it work on each targeted platform? Basically the aim is to be able to have this information available inside AIR and not having to use an external application for profiling, not even Flex / Flash builder.

  I need a class room definition for IP-aware for a research assignment. I.E. something that would be used, lets say, in a dictionary. Does anyone know or provide me with a link to a defintiion, I am having no luck with searches. Are IP-Aware devices only devices that can read/find/make decisions based on IP addresses. For example a router would be one, but a network printer would not?

  In what cases would a call to java.sql.ResultSetMetaData.isSearchable(int col) return false for an Oracle database? The documentation for the method doesn't really answer the question: "Indicates whether the designated column can be used in a where clause." I can think of only one case - when the column is the result of an aggregate function (in which case it would have to be part of a HAVING filter, not a WHERE filter). Are there any other cases?

• Localization problems in iPhone

  Hi I have been trying to localize my iPhone app in two languages - english and german I have created two folders en.lproj and de.lproj each containing Localizable.strings file for respective language. I have included these files in my resources folder, changed the encoding of these files to UTF-16. I have tried cleaning the project and building it again, deleting folder at path: Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/User But the problem is still there. Anybody having an idea please help.

I'm currently using the TortoiseSVN shell extensions, but I keep forgetting to check in new files and it's easy to get in a confused mess. On another project I use VS2008 with SourceSafe, and it's really nice having most things automated or controlled simply by using VS in its normal way.

  I have installed MAMP and the PHP it came with wasn't compiled with ncurses. I've tried to use port to install ncurses and it seems that it already exists on my system so now I was wondering if there was a way to get PHP to use it without having to recompile PHP --with-ncurses. In other words: Can PHP be configured to use ncurses without the recompilation?

  I'm having trouble with a JVM running an app, whose heap memory looks like a comb. It's constantly jumping from 1.5 GB to 3 GB and slowly deteriorating to higher values. I'm using G1 GC algorithm, but have no idea how to configure it. I do not have access to the code of the app I'm running and, needless to say, it's a rather large app. So, bottom line, does anyone know of a good guide to configure GC in Java?
